Lauren was absolutely AMAZING! BEST experience I’ve EVER had in Ulta! She was incredibly helpful and literally got me exactly what I needed and wasn’t trying to “over sell” items. I know next to nothing about make up except for the fact what I was using prior turned me orange because I didn’t have help. I came in last night 9/9 just looking around to learn a bit more about skin care products via Clinique. I had explained to her my situation as I’ve had a butterfly rash due to an immune system issue since I was little. Lauren helped me trial the products needed and discussed options on what would work best and even helped find a cleaner and redness reducer that works! She had even pointed out the credit card to save the 20% (which I did) 10000000% worth it! Was so excited to get up this morning and trial my new skin care, foundation, concealer, and setting spray. On my stop to work I was complimented for how beautiful my make-up looked (I am very simple I love just a touch but never too much) I am 8 hours into My shift and everything is STILL where it needs to be and so pretty! Thank you so much Lauren for finding me the perfect matches to my skin tone and skin issues! I appreciate it so much and I today definitely gave me that little boost of confidence I needed. Went in here a few years ago to get my foundation matched. One of the girls commented how beautiful my fair skin was. I had always been really insecure and tried covering it up with fake tans because of comments and societal pressure. That was the first time someone ever complimented my natural skin tone, and the comment has always stuck with me. Thank you to whoever you are.

Stopped in to get a slight trim, walked out two inches shorter. I knew made a mistake sitting in the chair. Staff are so lovely, yet hairdresser not skilled on my type of hair. Going to another salon to try to fix a bad haircut and allow it to grow back

I shopped at this store a couple of weeks ago, I loved everyone there. They all greeted me amazing and I felt they really knew what they were doing. One big complaint I do have is witnessing how the manager at the store speaks to her employees. She spoke to them like garbage and I myself witnessed it. I am not sure of her name but she was older, had short dirty blonde hair. A bit overweight and a pink blouse. I believe her name began with a c or k, because I heard other employees calling her back over after being ridiculed about everything they had done “wrong”. If an employee is wrong a manager has no right to speak them in such way.

Gina, and the rest of the staff are rockstars. For some strange reason, the Ulta site directed my order to the wrong store, so I went to the one nearest me and called, getting frustrated because it was taking too long to get my order curbside. Gina went out of her way to go out into the lot to look for me (which I really appreciate, and Im sorry you had to do this), and was finally able to help me figure out my order had been sent a few miles away to their location and not the one I was circling around. Went and got my order, the girls were quick and sweet. Satisfied with the contents of the order itself, as well. Thank you, Gina.

Sales people standing in the distance, chitchatting with each other all the time. Once you call them over, theyre just rude to you, as if just itching to leave to continue theyre conversation (which they do). Cashiers arent very nice either.

I came in yesterday and had the worst experience of my life! The manager Karen was by far the nastiest human being ever!!! I strongly recommend you going to another location. She was so worried on getting my phone number rather than asking my questions regarding products. I am an esthetician and this woman has no understanding of her job or the products that are sold. If I were ulta I would train my employees better.

This has become my new favorite store! Anytime I have any questions about any of the products or the ingredients in those products someone is there to help me. Everyone in the Patchogue location is friendly, they make an enjoyable shopping experience.

Extremely kind and helpful employees. I adore Matt! My hair was i guess its changing and matt helped me to find the perfect product. Matt knows stuff and is super sweet with eyeshadow goals for days!

First of all, I went with my two friends told her after getting Applebee’s and enjoying a nice meal. As soon as we enter the store many workers start approaching us. We did not know what to do at this moment so we all started panicking I’m really not sure what they were thinking that we were going to do whether be stealing or just buying things like make up. We were all around 15 years old they made us all super uncomfortable by following us around the store and talking about it in front of us. Also giving a side looks did not help the case. One of my friends actually got cornered in the store by two workers. So unprofessional and rude. Especially in times like this where Covid numbers are rising everybody out here trying trying to distance themselves and not get Covid. When we left the store we all got home we were all sobbing. One of my friends mother is actually called the store and they accused us of joking about stealing. They also said that it was probably a different group of girls I’m really not sure what other girls there were in the store because at first we were the only customers they also said that they had several other customers in the store complain and say that we were joking about stealing it was nine at night and I could get it that they were angry because they want to close up but we were only going to be in there for a few minutes. We actually had one of my friends mothers waiting outside for us they also pointed and laughed at us we felt very uncomfortable by this and we hope whoever was working there honestly gets fired I don’t think I’ve ever felt this uncomfortable in my whole entire lifetime to the point where I was sobbing. Terrible service, ugly workers. You literally work in a make up store but you can’t even do your own make up how sad...

Where do I even begin! I went in to get my hair colored for the first time and was so nervous! But Hailey and Marina took SUCH good care of me! They reassured and complimented me through the whole process. I wish I had a picture my hair came out AMAZING!! I will never go to another hairstylist again! I loved how kind, professional and informative Hailey was throughout the whole process and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!! Place is nice and clean. Most of the staff is really friendly and helpful. One woman named Sarah who I believe is a manger was not very nice and basically looked like she was annoyed first thing in the morning. You should definitely have a people person working as a manager especially in retail. Overall this store is really nice but my encounter with this woman made me not want to go back.

The staff at this location was friendly and attentive. Ive been asked on one or more occasions if I needed help and was guided by a few people in a satisfactory way. Great store. Many brand cosmetics to choose from for all budgets.

Amazing amazing. I have been going to this Alta for about three years now and I cant say how much I truly love them… Jackie in the salon is amazing she does great hair but besides that shes an amazing person… And Tanya at the brow bar as well, they always remember the stories we talk about and they genuinely listen to what I want done and they also perform it perfectly, I used to cry every time I got a haircut but since going to Jackie I couldnt be happier, and my eyebrows are always perfect thanks to Tanya

This place has an amazing selection of products great rewards ...the place is well organized love the one in Patchogue Kate is the best ...Went to one in Florida almost stopped going I should have called someone in cooperate about the Florida one regret not doing so otherwise love this place

This one is okay. Its small and has limited supply...for example. There is never the its a 10 shampoo that I use but other ulta have it. Same could apply to soap and glory variety and stock

My Wife likes Mac Makeup. I met one of the workers today Noelle. She was very helpful in finding the right products for my Wife. You need more dedicated workers like Noelle. Highly recommend Mac in Ulta in Patchogue !!

Went in for something for my daughters birthday and they were so pleasant ! Kim was amazing and very helpful!!

Salespersons seemed more interested in speaking with each other and catching up on their social lives than dealing with customer. Asked on their policy of buying an item that was obviously open box and was told buy it or dont. There was really no help involved or direction. Only after going back home did we learn that the bigger bottle of the same item was on sale. Something a salesperson should know and inform a customer about.

Have loved this location even long before I found my stylist Christina. Friendly staff, quick check out, especially if my other Janet is on register. Shay in Clinique has helped me seasons after seasons in color matching and Sara always helps me find something I need. Now the salon, my hairdresser Christina for over 6 yrs now, is my holy grail of hair. Her expertise and talent and patience I am so grateful for. The salon team of Kate, Cassie, Marina, Emily and Ro, and Jessica and others make the hrs of getting hair love, fun! Ty POPE!

I love the huge selection of makeup they have, drugstore or high end make up. They even have a wide variety of hair products and shampoos/conditioners plus a lot more. I love this store. And the trip to this ulta from where I live for the much cheaper products is worth it

Ill start off by saying the place is clean and organized. But It seems like what staff they do have is selective in whom they greet. And their product lines are not really inclusive of all skin tones as far as foundation selections are concerned. And I was very surprised that they are one of a handful of Ultas that do not carry Juvias Place cosmetics.

Chelsea at the salon in the Ulta Patchogue store is fabulous! She did an beautiful job on my 11 year old daughters hair! And my daughter has ALLOT of hair so it was no easy kid cut! It was my daughters first real haircut aside from getting it trimmed so my daughter was a little nervous but Chelsea quickly made her very comfortable! She listened to what we were looking to achieve and was so pleasant and helpful and adviced us on how to keep the length but give her hair more of a style. And she nailed it! She is a very talented stylist! I will definitely be going back to her! And my 5 year old daughter wants her hair cut by Chelsea as well. It was so nice to see my daughter so excited after the haircut! She was immediately making videos and taking selfies! I cant thank Chelsea enough! 💜 I would definitely recommend Chelsea!

This is my favorite Ulta location. It has by far the most availability in stock than any other the other locations by me. Today I went in and I got help right away. It wasnt one of those where they always follow you but just the right amount and then they let you do your shopping unless you call them. I used to work in the plaza and I used to stop frequently. Now I work further away but still go to this location eventhough its further from me.

Stephanie did my hair today. My hair is super thick and gets tangled very easily, but I hardly felt anything. She was so gentle with my hair, that I almost fell asleep on the chair. My hair came out beautiful and shiney. I definitely recommend her, all the stylists at the salon are friendly and informative. Thanks steph !

I shop here on a daily and for many years and I never recieve any help. I was there the other day and employees stare at you, talk about personal life to other co workers or are too busy opening shipment instead of helping confused clients. I know nothing about makeup so I come here because it’s local and looking for assistant but I never receive it. I have to pull up google and search up makeup reviews to find the makeup that will work best for me while I’m in the store!! Employees should help the clients more.

I am not sure if I should be unhappy with the employee or ulta policy, I do get this one coupon for one use only idea, but there are times when exceptions should be made,,I went to purchase few items using a 20% coupon,no where on the coupon did it say for once one time purchase only everything was fine but at the end of my transaction I realized I needed to add one more item to my purchase so I went to get it and asked the sales associate if I could return the whole purchase and rebuy with the new item to get the 20% off,, the first person was confused the second one said yes I can do it,, but once she scanned all the items she told me I couldnt use it because I used it once,,and I was like yes I know I used it once just minutes ago but now I am just adding an item and getting them all under one purchase,, I didnt even leave the store,, I was doing everything in matter of minutes and they refused to make an exception so I returned everything,, long story short I would rather pay more at sephora or Bloomingdales where they are honest with their coupon than purchase anything from ulta,,thank you so much for treating me like that so I know where to take my money

Very helpful staff. I went in to buy my wife a ton of makeup for Vday and spent $307.00 on makeup which was no issue I wasnt pinching pennies but thought I would have received a gift or at least a bag that could hold all the stuff I just purchased. also realizing the woman in front of me made a $25 purchase and received a gift of some sort anywho still a great helpful staff and my wife loves Ulta so I will shop there again.

This Ulta is the WORST!!! The staff is always rude and not helpful. I have gone on many occasions and asked for help on certain products and they huff and puff and act annoyed. The only one that has been helpful when I have been in there is the MAC girls and I dont usually buy the MAC products. In my opinion avoid this one and go to the new one in Riverhead or the one by Smithhaven Mall!!! Or SEPHORA!! They are always helpful!!!! :)

Had a horrible experience, I wish I would have gotten the name of the woman that helped me. Today I went to ulta very excited to get makeup to cover my rosacea. Having rosacea sucks, its ugly, its painful, its itchy and mostly its embarrassing. So I was very excited to spend whatever it cost to get high quality makeup to do whatever I could to cover it up. Unfortunately the woman that helped me left me feeling worse than I did when I walked in. She went on to tell me that I should get laser treatment and that I need to see someone about my rosacea immediately. She continued to question me about my face wash, moisturizer and other products im currently using while continuing to make me feel horrible about the way my skin looks. I have a very mild case of rosacea, it could be a lot worse. But I went in hopes of hiding it as much as I could. She acted as though I had done something to get this skin condition. She proceeded to tell me to also watch my diet if I ever wanted my skin to get any better. Overall she was a nightmare and completely ruined my day. If I didnt feel bad enough about this embarrassing skin condition, I now feel so much worse.

Yay for makeup ! but no for the cashier. i went to return an item i did not like and was asked why i was returning it i said i did not like it. and was asked why i didnt like it i explained is not good on my skin. LOOK IF IM RETURNING AN ITEM I AM SIMPLY NOT INTERESTED JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY THATS IT.

The store is fine but do not go to the hair salon. I went there and some girl name Cassie took me in. I went there thinking Im going to come out with a great hair cut after donating my long hair. I asked this person no to call it other names to suggest a hair cut and she didnt. I asked her if a long bob will be a lot work she said no... I asked her to cut my hair by my shoulders and she went over my collar bone. I was like ok breathe it will be ok then I asked her about coloring my hair a shade lighter and she just did not want to bother with it. I felt she just wanted to work on her coworkers hair. Now my hair looks horrible and my coloring is coming off and I waited about 5 days before I washed my colored hair. How do I know she did the worse job ever? my white towels have my hair color on it. Please do not gonand safe yourself the pain. Thi is by far the worse hair salon ever in Patchogue and to top it my hair cut is crooked so yay I have to spend money now in some extensions thanks a lot ULTa hair salon lesson learned . I have one star but this ULTa salon doesnt deserve none

Only complaint is they dont overstock popular foundation colors with the seasonal changes.
