I have to say, there is a bevy of humanoids up in that piece... and whatever was going on with the extra mean old dude at that store was completely not the stores fault, but at least they had my phillo dough (no thank you to the 2 other unnamed stores I hit first that didnt have it). Also had some fair LI prices for the odd things I needed to purchase there. Recommended, just go after the elderly hit the sack in case that meanie comes back. 😉

Great prices. I usually go early AM to avoid crowds. It can get busy and w/covid I try to avoid crowds because of social distancing. Overall a good store. Good idea to have a thorough look at the flyer that has all of the sale items listed. Grab one on your way in if you dont get one in the mail.

Im not from area so I cannot speak to the store but, I did have an absolutely fabulous experience with the deli department. They catered my daughters birthday party, 2 3ft subs, 2 salads (highly recommend the signature salad), the rainbow fruit platter, omg, IT WAS SO YUMMY!!!, veg platter and the fruit and cheese platter. My family is huge wine n cheese people n this platter was AMAZING. All the guests could not stop talking about the set up and the food. Everything was beautiful. The manager is Steve n he was so professional n helpful. Even helping me out to the car. Half the price if I went thru uncle gs or one of the higher end delis. Price, quality and servi g sizes were HUGE. They even cut the subs as wedges, making eating them much easier.My famy was so pleased they all said they going to shoprite next party. Def recommend. Ty for a beautiful party Steve n the deli department!!

Ive been here now twice and the entry way smell strongly of urine. When in the store there was a unpleasant smell throughout. I wont be coming back until there is management that cares about the sanitary situation of a food store. Someone should contact health dept.

Start receiving tractor trailer from 10:00 am they take 1:45 minutes to unload (in the parking lot on the other side of the building there is a Dot inspection 🧐)

I find this store pretty good, clean and on the cheaper side to which is a plus. However the quality of some of the products especially from the bakery are better off being bought in different supermarkets like stop and shop. Other then that it’s decent here.

Bad customer serviceI cannot believe they force you to sign up for a card in order to receive sale discounts. I should not be required to do so, and when I kindly asked if they could scan one for me they since I live in the city they firmly said NO. Bad service all around. No water either. Unbelievable.

I love shopping here.. especially for instacart it’s probably my favorite place to do orders.. HOWEVER I gave it 2 stars because it is THE WORST deli on the entire island. (And trust me I go ALL over with instacart) if you use a kiosk and order ahead it’s never less than 45mins.. and even if you go back before that time, when there’s barely anyone else waiting.. they still make you wait the entire time. I LITERALLY DREAD having to get deli products there. First time I went I waited on the line and they had ONE person helping us and 3 doing the kiosk orders.. so the next time I used the kiosk and it was the exact opposite. Just.. DONT ORDER DELI HERE!Also.. recently the entire store’s been smelling like dirty diapers for some reason.

I love shop rite, but when I went to the bakery section this morning and told the woman I needed to order a cake, she literally rolled her eyes at me and scoffed. Ill get my cake elsewhere.

Clean and big...but the best part is they dont cheap out on staffing. Even when its crowded they have sufficient cashiers on hand to get you in and out fast. much appreciated.

Shoprite is love. You can get here possibly anything you want. Their cakes are amazing too. I visited this store for the first time. Theyre keeping it clean, sanitized; thumbs up 👍 for that. Overall a great place to shop for groceries.

It would be nice if the human resources dept would return calls left for them.I was called about my resume for a possible position there. I couldnt take the call at that moment. Asked if they could call me back in 10min. They never did. I called and left 3 msgs for April in human resources and never got the courtesy of a call back. Very unprofessional.

UPDATE... I went shopping late Saturday afternoon about 5 pm. They change circulars on Sunday and this stores rips down all the sale price stickers... worse the shelves are empty... especially in the frozen food dept... see picturesThe last time the smell of old burnt fryer oil hits you the minute you walk in the door. The smallest slowest deli counter on Long Island. They change the prices and displays on Saturday even though the new sales dont start until Sunday. So its always confusing... Greenfield Shoprites are a thousand times better

Shopping at Shop rite is good for savings. But the one thing that is wrong is that the stocking should be done during the nite when the store is closed. It jams up the aisles where u cant get around with a cart. Also the Deli dept. needs more than just 3 people trying to fill the peoples orders. The entrance way should be bigger. There is merchandise at the entrance and when people stop when they go in the store it causes a traffic jam at the entrance. So Im not very impressed with this store.

It was a MESS!!!! I loved the store in Hauppauge! This one is very disorganized!!! So many shelves were empty and in disarray. I found most of the things I need it. It took me forever! Although, staff was helpful!

Dirty floors. Overall dinginess, poor lighting. A bit of green mold on the so-called fresh Kaiser rolls. Long lines for self-checkout because of inadequate number of registers open. Staff standing around or walking around socializing. Seems as though the store is poorly managed, to be honest. Twenty minutes waiting to pay for three items is unacceptable. If I wasnt in a hurry, I would I would have left and gone elsewhere. Unlikely to ever go there again.

I asked a cashier to bag items in two separate frozen bags purchased prior to bagging. Thy child refused to bag, so I called front end Michele to help. Michele seen first hand that cashier DID NOT want to work & did the work for her. If shoprites employees DO NOT want to WORK. ONLY employ those whom do.

I was surprised to see how organized they are. There is so much to choose from; there is no lack in variety. Clean, spacious; staff was helpful and friendly also.I usually shop at 2-3 different stores to get all the items on my grocery list, but I didnt have to do that after shopping at Shoprite.I especially checked out the produce, meat, and dairy department for that smelly old meat, stale produce odor, but couldnt find any. I went up and down every isle except for two...and they were all consistently clean and organized. Items are reasonably priced. This is my second time in about 10-years shopping at Shoprite Patchogue. I wasnt disappointed...and Im glad that I didnt have to run around to several other stores to fulfill my shopping list. I will definitely be going back to Shoprite.

Love it.. especially Kim, Store Manager...Connie one of the cashiers and the morning Express cashier. I shop on Sunday mornings and have met a few very nice regular Sunday morning shopper friends. Great store.😄

Ive obviously stated my opinion of Stop & Shop Shirley it was not good at all ShopRite in Patchogue a further ride I usually catch on my day off or on my way home from work its always clean the produce the meats the fish are much better again I miss not getting gas points but as far as variety selection stock its ridiculously better then Stop & Shop it is the go-to supermarket of this area for Price quality parking excetera excetera excetera

Clean and well stocked inventory. The best departments are Meat..especially Angus beef and Prime beef when it is available. The other truly outstanding department is the Bakery. This to me separates the superior from the good. Particularly the cinnamon raisin bagels. Just the best. Leaves Zabars in the city in the dust. It keeps me shopping and eating well..both me and my family. Thanks!!!

Quick run for some things, in and out no problem

Its a supermarket so what do you expect? Maybe some good deals on good meat, cooking ingredients, cleaning supplies, and all sorts of things if you know where to look. The staff wants to get their job done, but loves to stop to help everyone.

It was a beautiful place to buy anything for the house, the kitchen, groceries, meat, fruits and veggies, beauty cream products, hair products and different machines for making hair and barking. Some office products etc. Good price. Wheelchair accessible and wheelchair accessible parking lot. Were large space. Good and helpful attendants who know their jobs.

I like that i know where things are. I got my fresh young turkey last one 20 lbs.It was tender no chemicals it tasted like Turkey. I felt awful another woman and her daughter had to go to a other place to get there Turkey. There where only frozen and huge maybe 30 lbs and up at around 79 dollars. But 1030 at night the night before its expected.

Cashier was rude! I spent over $300 & over a 25 cent coupon for Pillsbury quick bread made me open every bag to locate the item. After I showed her the item she then told me the coupon states, do not double so she made sure she entered it manually so it wouldnt double in my favor! Never will I shop there again!

Waited more then 45 minutes for cold cuts.There was no fried white meat chicken was supposed to be on sale. The person behind the counter to ask about fried chicken was EXTREMELY RUDE.Highly recommend Best Market instead

And FYI the Kings suggestion says face mask or face covering, WHEN SOCIAL DISTANCING CANT BE ACCOMPLISHED. So in part, keep your a$$ 6ft from me, and we will all be fine

Disappointed they didnt prepare well for the Jewish holiday they didnt have the food in the deli department & the candles we use on Yom Kippur they didnt have. I find that this store customer service & their people are rude & they dont know anything. I will not be going back Id rather spend a little more & go to King Kullen or Stop & Shop

It was my first time here. Its laid out a little different than what Im used to in a ShopRite. Yet the staff was patient, friendly and helpful during my time in the store..

The cashiers have always been friendly here. Often busy, but I usually get in and out pretty quickly. The hours are pretty good, too.

This used to.be my favorite store for.grocery shopping. Since the advent of corona, this place is for the birds 😡 There is nothing on the shelves. Pancake mix/syrup has been out of stock for at least 2 weeks! I was in the store yesterday and walked out when I found more shelves than product. What’s going on guys?? I said I won’t go back until this is over.

Love it here. Erika is the sweetest cashier, I go out of my way to get on her line even if its busy. Shes the best!
