Purchased appliances from here in 2002 when building my home. In the last month I’ve had to purchase a new dishwasher and a new washing machine. 19 years out of the appliances, not too shabby. These new purchases went just as well. They still carried the same line of dishwasher as the original, and it’s chrome, and the finish matches the rest of the kitchen.Easy to work with. Shop local.

From the moment I walked in the door I was delighted with my experience. The saleswoman Gabrielle Martin was outstanding. She was very low pressure and went out of her way to research several models to fit my dimensions and budget. She was professional and efficient as she ordered and scheduled the delivery of my three appliances.The store called to remind us of the delivery date and to alert us as to the window of time to expect them. The delivery team came on time and worked carefully set up all of the appliances. They were there for a short time! We were very impressed with the service at every point. I was looking for an under cabinet hood for our kitchen remodel and decided on an XO Appliance model. Their website directed me to the Wickford Appliance website as their Westerly, RI store was the nearest store to carry XO. The website was very easy to navigate and they had the model I was looking for at the best price available.I ordered it online in the evening, after 7 pm, and within 30 minutes I received a phone call from Nathan, a service representative, who set up delivery to the Westerly store and told me it should be there Monday.I can’t tell you what a relief it was to have not only a well constructed website that made the process easy but also a very polite and helpful human to help me complete the order. The human touch and, I can’t lie, the nice price, will bring me to Wickford Appliance again.Thank you for a great experience so far.

The ordering process for my new dishwasher was very professional and transparent. All of my questions were answered quickly and the quote detailed not only our responsibilities but outlined the entire installation process as well. Based on my ordering experience I expect the delivery and install to go smooth as well.

Bought a washer/dryer stack from these folks and had it delivered and installed. I am right at the furthest edge of their delivery range and the price was super low considering that. Claudio and Charlie were awesome; careful and courteous and made sure it would fit through doorways before bringing it in (sounds like common sense but Home Depot did not). The sales associate we worked with - Cameron - was great, he described several different models as many times as I asked, and made absolute certain every detail of the model we went with would work in the odd spot in our bathroom. The item was backordered (thanks to the shipping delays that have been happening all year) but actually made it to us before the estimated date. Every part of the process went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Despite the supply chain problems, Wickford Appliance came through with just what I wanted with minimal wait. Had a great experience getting an emergency replacement fridge at Wickford appliance. Michelle was able to arrange a same day delivery. Three hours after purchase the new fridge was plugged in and the old one removed. We were very impressed with the professionalism of both the sales staff and installers. Highly recommend!

After a six week nightmare experience with Best Buy, I very much appreciated Michael Dupuis calm and pleasant professionalism in helping me with my washer and dryer purchase. Knowledgeable and down to earth and the final purchase was over $300 less than the comparable appliances at Best Buy. As with many retail purchases these days, the appliances are on a long back order, but I was made well aware of that while at the store. I went in right at opening, looking to replace a microwave I had purchased previously. The same model was still available, they had it in the local warehouse and Mike the sales rep made all the necessary accommodations so that I could get it same day and instal it. I was also interested in the 5 year extended warranty and he was able to explain what the benefits were. I was very happy, my new microwave works great and if it fails again, I can call on Wickford to fix it.

Went to Wickford after shopping around for a washer and dryer other places.. good selection for a small place that’s under renovation! Prices were average.. possibly a little lower than bigger store chains! Michelle was very helpful and answered all of our questions.. no pushy sales people or pressure. Reasonable delivery fees and they take old appliances for a small fee. We ended up ordering a washer and dryer that will be in stock for first week in April.. can’t wait to get them! Plus loved the fact that they have their own repair guys and if we ever have to call with an issue we won’t be getting a 1800 number in another Country!

The shopping experience was awesome - we didnt feel rushed or pushed. Great products and immaculate delivery. We ordered a washer, dryer and stove. Two were gas hook-ups. They were in and done (including plumbing) within an hour and a half. Polite, very careful, and expert at their jobs. Highly recommend!

Great customer service. They went out of their way to help me. I refrigerator stopped working and I need one that day. I found the model I wanted but I would be able to get it for 2 days. When I said I needed it that day they made arrangements to let me have a unit they had in stock for a future order and I picked it up that afternoon.

We had a dishwasher and stove purchased from here as a gift for our anniversary. They were both installed by the plumbing company attached to Wickford. The dishwasher wasn’t installed properly and had a leak that would drip water onto our floor, causing the floor to warp, this happened within a month. If it had been many months I could see us being responsible to cover the repair. I contacted Wickford and they said they’d send a plumber out to fix it, but it would cost us $100. I didn’t think we should be responsible to pay considering it wasn’t installed properly in the first place. The customer service department wasn’t very helpful. I asked to speak with an owner, and was never contacted. And so now I resort to this review, explaining our experience. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend doing business with Wickford appliance.

After having a disappointing experience with a local company I decided to contact Wickford Appliance and what a difference it made. Not only did they have the refrigerator I wanted in stock but I could have it delivered in less than a week. Also, when Nathan informed me that they take care of their own service, well thats just the cherry on top. My only regret is that I didnt buy here 5 refrigerators and 3 washer and dryer sets ago.Great salesman who answered all my questions.

Wickford Appliance cannot be beat. In the midst of an appliance shortage I was able to get everything I needed without feeling pressured. The sales people were honest and upfront about timetables for delivery and not pushy at all so I felt comfortable taking my time to make my final decisions. Prior to shopping at Wickford I had shopped at another local appliance store where my family has been a customer for many many years but I was turned off by the salesperson who only gave me one option and insisted if I wanted it I should buy it now because it would be gone by Monday and assured me no one else would be able to do anything g better for me. We he couldn’t have been more wrong. At Wickford they took time to listen to my concerns and steer me towards multiple options that would fit my needs not just what they had in stock. They asked about my brand preference and highlighted various features only to make me aware and “decide if they have value to me” . At the end of a couple hours they were happy to check on expected availability for me and print up a quote without expecting or pressuring me to order. I went home checked out consumer reports and made a couple changes without any issues. I ordered a full suite of appliances and was able to pick up my microwave with in a a couple of weeks for my contractor to complete my tile installation the rest of my appliances are expected by the end of the month and Wickford even offered to do multiple deliveries at no xtra charge so I could get each piece delivered as soon as it comes in. I am a customer for life!

Two parts to this review. First of all the good. Oct 28 $3000 two year old refrigerator breaks down and I call Wickford, Super nice lady in service and they send a tech right over who tells me the refrigerator needs to be taken in to be fixed. The bad. The next available appointmnet is Nov 18. After pushing the appointment to December 9, the owner got involved and was able to send a tech to fix the issue. Owner was honest, admitted the mistake and took care of the issue. Tech was knowledgeable and friendly. Much appreciated.

Called up to check stock product was soon to come in and avail before mother’s and will be delivered. Nate was a pleasure to deal with I’d recommend him to a friend

Do not buy anything from them! You will keep getting billed for appliances that have been paid for. I bought and paid for a microwave back in March yet every month I receive a bill for the microwave that was paid in full upon delivery! I called the office each time I received a bill and was told that I shouldnt have received that bill and they would take care of it! On June 18th, I talked to the owner Tim Chaput about the situation, he promised me that he would personally take care of the billing issue. On July 14th, I received another bill. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau!

The best of best, we brought dishes washing machines and clothes washing machines.

Wickford Appliance is a great place to buy appliances. We worked with Don who was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Amanda in customer service was also extremely helpful in resolving a glitch caused by our contractor. I recommend Wickford Appliance and will continue to buy my appliances there! In my experience, its better to shop at Wickford than a big-box store.

The clothes dryer I wanted was $100 less expensive at Wickford than at all three of the major chain appliance retailers in the area, plus they could deliver the unit more quickly than two out of three of them. Installers were quick and polite. Best of all I was able to support a local business.

Repeat customer and could not have enough good things to say about my experience. Knowledgeable sales staff, excellent customer service, quality products, wealth of inventory on hand, great communication on delivery timing and followup. I have purchased, had delivered and installed several appliances in addition to plumbing work with no complaints or issues.

Stay Away! Horrible customer service. They don’t stand behind their work. They charged us $195 to fix our refrigerator ice maker. A few months later, they wanted to charge us again when water leaked all over our floor because their repair job failed.

This was my second purchase from wickford Appliance. I have to Say Ashley gets 5 stars from me all day long. Delivery was prompt and on time however the cord that they brought was too short, which is ok, but rather than offering to get us a longer cord they suggested that I move the outlet so the shorter cord would work. You really cant just move the outlet without making other changes. I called Ashley and she got right on it for me.

Came in looking for a new set of appliances, and was promptly, and pleasantly served by their sales associate Ashley. We got what we came for, as well as some additional lighting fixtures for the house. Will use again and of course will recommend to our friends and family.

I had a little piece of plastic break off of my dishwasher and clogged the pump (unknowing at the time) so we called service. Charlie just left and was such a great guy! He was so pleasant and patient fixing it for us and. I feel most other companies would have taken advantage of the situation like I have been victim of in the past but that wasn’t the case. Just bought a new range, could not be happier with the experience at Wickford Appliance in Pawtucket! Ashley was so knowledgeable, asked us what our needs were and showed us the perfect range, and hood for us. She didnt lead us to the most expensive choices and even found ways to save us a bit more.
