I have enjoyed doing business with Courtesy. My salesman was wonderful! No pressure, willing to work with me, and patient. Everyone else I spoke to were kind, funny, and overall made my purchase a pleasant experience. My first service appointment was no different. I was in and out in 30 mins, tops. Granted it was for my first service visit and probably didnt require a ton of time, but still. The service department personnel were fast and efficient.My only gripe with this location is the condition of the dealership itself. It just needs some love and attention; its an older location, and you can definitely tell when you walk in the waiting area.However, it would never stop me from returning and dealing with the staff. Theyve been great!

I was very happy with Orlando Gomes. He was very helpful in helping me chose another Sonata to replace the one I was leasing. He knew the differences between what I was currently driving and the new models I was looking at so I could make a selection that I would be satisfied with. I recommend him highly to anyone looking to purchase a car.I also want to mention Eric the sales manager. He helped put together a deal that fit my budget. I did not purchase a vehicle here, as my preferred dealership was able to give me a better offer. That said, this place is fantastic.The staff was very courteous (I would hope so, since its in their name), and super friendly. There were no high-pressure sales tactics, my test drive went very well, and the manager seemed completely honest.The reason they are getting 4 star instead of 5 is because they had very few dealer plates on site. This meant that I had to stand around waiting for another customer to finish their test drive before I could start mine. While I do understand that they are a smaller dealership, the salesman I was with mentioned that they only had 3 plates. That is way too few for a dealership of their size.Other than that, this is a fantastic place, and I would certainly recommend them to others.

I am very happy with my 2011 Sonata that I purchased at Courtesy. The sales staff and finance department were easy to deal with, got a great deal, and the car is outstanding. The entire service department and especially Wendel have made servicing my car sweet as pie. They complete the repairs right the first time, very quick service, and always with a smile. What else can you say about a place that the sales manager treats its employees so badly (He was simply asking questions on my behalf) that a young salesman quit in the middle of a sale? It may have been unprofessional, but judging the dismissive and condescending way the sales manager treated me, a customer, I dont blame the mid for walking out.

One the worst dealerships Ive ever been in. All were extremely rude to my girlfriend and I. Weve made appointments for service to be done and show up and they have no record of us calling; on multiple occasions. They will do ANYTHING to sell you a car, they dont care about their customers one bit. If you want good people and great service this is 100% not the place to go. If i could, itd be a 0/5 stars

My husband and I bought a beautiful SUV from this dealership in October 2017, and the service was initially outstanding.*Unfortunately, since then, *theyve failed to register the vehicle with the State of Rhode Island DMV*, and *continue to avoid me,*dodge my telephone calls*, and *use condescending and unnecessary tones when I ask for the registration,* and are consistently unable to provide any reasonable answer regarding what the problem is.We last spoke today. Its April 13, 2018.Theyre telling me to wait for a follow up call.

Excellent experience! Worked with Glenn & Justin. Wouldnt have changed a thing. We struggled with my previous cars lien holder but they stopped at nothing to take the pressure off of me and worked with them directly to get that cleared up quickly and professionally.No pressure going here either. Some dealers push you into buying a car before you walk out the door, none of that here whatsoever, which as a single woman supporting my family and home myself, made me feel very comfortable. Would recommend 1,000,000%

Would give less than a star if I could. I needed a new car, and because my credit took a hit due to some bad real estate investments, I knew I was in a high-interest bracket, and only wanted to lease until I clear my debt. I was told I could lease a Sonata Sport for $260/month. Because my insurance company was closed at the time, Courtesy told me to drive the car off the lot and I could sign the contract when the insurance came through. I spent my whole Saturday there--it took them forever to get the car ready, and when I went back a few days later to sign the contract, they told me that they hadnt realized HOW bad my credit was, even though they ran the numbers the day I got the car, and that I couldnt lease the car for the price they quoted after all. I couldnt lease it at all, as a matter of fact--instead, I would have to buy it for $370/month for 6 years if I wanted to keep it. I told them I didnt want to buy the car, and certainly not for $100 more per month than the max I told them I could pay. I took my old car back, went to Fox Toyota, and got a lease for a new Corolla Sport without a problem. Papers signed, everything legit, all on a Saturday, even though my insurance company was closed. On Monday, when the insurance was transferred, I picked up my car in 15 minutes flat, no hassle.After thinking the whole thing through, and looking at the Toyota numbers compared with the Hyundai numbers (the Sonata was listed for $5K more than the Corolla, but the Corolla monthly lease payment is nearly as much as the Sonata, and Fox worked really hard to get me the best deal), I concluded that Courtesy never intended to lease me the car for $260. I believe it was all a bait and switch tactic to get me to fall in love with the car and agree to pay the jacked up price for 6 years instead of the lease price for 3. These two car dealerships are night and day in the customer service and honesty department, to say the least. Courtesys bait and switch tactics are why car salesmen are stereotyped as shifty.

Dishonesty with the financial manager led to months of dispute. Couldnt get the color we wanted as they discovered the car on their lot had damage. Felt I constantly had to call them because they never followed up accordingly. Price was great but thats about it.

I own a 2012 Hyundai accent. I went there to get the sticker for the state and they gave me the car with a dead battery. The didnt even say a word and handed the key to me. The guy didnt even say sorry and jump the car. A two year old car with a dead battery after a sticker inspection?They told me that I had to change the battery after one year; I would like to ask to the owner; where in the Hyundai chart says that Im supposed to change the battery after one year?Theyre horrible. Arrogants too.Dont go there

Poor service for warranty items!I have an intermittent problem with my backup camera not working on my 2013 Sante Fe Sport (bought in 2014 new). I took it first to the place I bought the car (Fall River, MA) and since then I have taken it twice to Courtesy Hyundai (close to work). The last time it stopped, the service manager told me to bring it in anytime it wasnt working. I brought it in this morning with the backup camera totally dead. Paul, one the service managers looked at it, said leave it and we will look into it. He called me an hour or so later and said its working now, we dont know whats wrong with it. He called again a little later in the day and claimed that all cars (makes) have issues with their backup cameras. Interesting enough, the car before this one was an Elantra and it NEVER had an issue with the backup camera.I asked him what I was supposed to do, keep bringing it in every time it stopped working? I also asked how many Hyundais has he had come in this year with backup camera problems, he couldnt recall if any had. I suggested maybe they should replace the camera then if its not a common problem, he said Hyundai wouldnt allow it. He then told me to just call Hyundai directly and complain.I asked him that if this kept happening could I evoke the Lemon Law and he said that was up to me....Really? You would rather me hire a lawyer and have you replace the entire vehicle plus legal fees instead of trying to fix a problem that you verified was there?Wow! Talk about lousy customer service.....

After being mistreated and mishandled at another local hyundai dealership, i found myself at Courtesy Hyundai with a TON of issues on my 2006 Tucson. Needed to get everything fixed and running for inspection. Sat down with dave the service manager and discussed everything and scheduled my appts. He (and the rest of his incredible service team) went above and beyond to not only bring my vehicle back to perfection, but to rectify how i was treated elsewhere. I have since returned to courtesy for service multiple times because I am treated well and not played with! Best service from any place (dealership, garage or otherwise) that i have gotten in a long long time! Thank you for everything guys!!

Intimidating people, but I could handle that.They need to change the name to We might be Courteous if we feel like itThey tried to charge me $50 for the inspection sticker.I found a filthy cabin filter and mouse nest in the air filter.Air C. Does not work right.These are things that should be done as a part of the presale rutine.I am disappointed but I should have done more to check their reputation. I will not buy here again .

I went to get the an oil change, to fix the passenger window switch, and a the gas release door. Most of the fixes apart from the oil change was covered under warranty however, they had mentioned that the problems were fixed.After a 30 min drive to pick up th car the passenger window switch was still not working and the instead of being courteous and bringing the car to be checked up again, instead told me to leave it for another time. It is very disappointing that they don’t take into account their mistakes and not offer to immediately offer the help.

I began my relationship with Courtesy Hyundai back in 2011 when I purchased my first vehicle with them. Two years went by and I decided to trade in my car for something a little newer. In December of 2013 I bought a 2013 Ford Escape from them. After the papers were signed they tried to assist me in programming the Sync program in the car but it would not work. I was advised it may need an update and it would be covered under warranty. I was told to schedule this with my salesman and I could drop my car off a get a rental. Two weeks passed and I tried to schedule this but kept getting pushed off by my salesman. Finally he told me I could drop off my car on lunch and get a rental while they work on it. I got to them at the prearranged time and sat for my whole lunch waiting for my rental which I was told was coming 4 or 5 times (even though it was never coming). I was then approached by the GM who advised me they were just going to try and disconnect my battery and plug it back in to see if that would work. I could not believe the way they handled this issue. At this point I was already late back to work and demanded my keys be returned. I got a very insincere apology from the GM and went on my way. At this point the relationship between myself and the dealership was rocky at best.In April of 2013 I traded in my car again and did not go back to Courtesy after my poor experience with them. I had purchased GAP insurance on my Escape through Courtesy and called in the beginning of May to get that canceled. I was advised what was needed and faxed the required documentation over. I assumed my refund was in process and emailed them to confirm later that month. I got an email response I needed to come down and sign a document. I went to the dealership that same day and was advised by finance how hard it is to refund these things and it probably would not be worth my time. They were legitimately trying to talk me out of processing this refund! I gave them all kinds of documents they even asked for my P&S from the car I had just bought which seemed excessive. I was then assured my refund on this insurance would be processed. I decided to follow up with the GAP insurance provider directly on 7/3 and the informed me they had received no such request to cancel. I spoke to a supervisor at the insurance company and they canceled it for me do to the lack of help from the dealership. I also called the finance people at the location and they said they would follow up with it. I let another month go which brings us into August. I emailed the insurance company to see if the check had made it to the dealership and I was shocked to find out the check had already arrived to them! I sent them an email threatening to take them to small claim court and reported them to the BBB. I received an update the next day they were sending a check out me.This is a prime example of how to loose a loyal customer. Let my experience be a guide to you not to purchase a vehicle here.
