After MUCH searching for a refrigerator repair part online - I tried stopping in at Charlands. Theyve alway been a great place to buy appliances. Ive purchased 3 from them. They were WONDERFUL! They had just what I needed - my fridge is back up & running great. 🙂 Great local business!

Would be nice if you changed your voice mail and social media if you’re hours changed for Saturday. Posting it on the door only helps after you’ve wasted your time going there.

Im not sure what is happening at Charland Appliance, but whomever is covering for Mike is awful. Mike fixed my washer in June, replaced the pump. He was courteous, fast and gave me a great price to fix. Im having the same issue with my washer. I called back to have Mike come take a look at it and another repairman showed up. He was there for 5 minutes, I showed him the receipt for the work that was done in June and he either didnt want to do the job or didnt know how to. He lied to me and told me that he needed to call Mike and that he would come back later that day. When I called back he told me that Mike was on vacation and has now been on vacation for 3 weeks! Ive had to call another company to come and fix my washer. Its too bad, Mike is a great guy!!!

I have used Charland Appliance Center for many of my needs. He is also helped my business Apppliance Warehouse where he’s at and deliveries and installations for us.

Quick to respond and always friendly. Charland is my “go to “ place for all my appliance repairs.

They came to look at a washer, they told me I needed a new pump I asked for the price they quoted me $500. I was surprised and told them I would rather buy a new one .the older guy told me all of the stores are out washers and it might take over a month to get a new one. I paid him $85 for his diagnostic and he left.I called a different place Fast appliance repair the guy came and quoted me $200 to fix the machine with a new pump. A difference of $300. How do you explain the $300 difference for the same job?

Mike Charland does everything he can to make the whole buying and installing experience a good one. He goes the extra mile to do things right.

This is not a showroom. Dont expect to have a salesperson greet you and try to sell you something. Dont expect a huge selection. Most likely theyll have 2 or 3 models of whatever appliance you want, and the proprietor (probably smoking a cigarette) will show them to you without any frills. Hell tell you exactly why theyre so cheap, hell show you the repairs he made, the parts he replaced, hell tell you where they got them, and how hard they are to fix. Then you pick one out, his son will wheel it out to your car (or put a sticky note on it if youre having it delivered) and youll pay.That said, I have gotten nothing but amazing deals here. My washer/dryer set was less than half what it would have been from Home Depot or Amazon. Granted, its not a matching set, but who cares? It works great and theyll fix it if it breaks. I just bought a dishwasher for $130 less than a comparable model at Home Depot. Manage your expectations and you can get a great deal.

My washing machine has now been broken for five weeks. Long story short the first time it was fixed with a new part that didnt work and when I called to say its still not fixed and now only does the washer not fill, but it doesnt spin or drain...Missed appointments, no follow up calls as promised and missed time off from work and lost money. I already found someone cheaper and reliable!

Awful customer service!!!!What was supposed to take 7-10 days turned into over a month with no answers and no calling when they said they would. After 4 weeks of them telling me the parts will be in on Friday I finally walked away and used another appliance repair place after Mike aggressively SCREAMED at me after I asked him for details on when and where parts were ordered.I never write reviews but this was the worst experience and I honestly could not believe a professional treated a client the way they did.Do not use!!!!

They fixed a couple appliances before this fiasco. They quoted a price to fix my stove I agree to it. We set up an appointment for them to come in with the necessary parts needed to fix the stove, I left the agreed amount with my son they came never fixed the stove broke additional parts took the money and after 6 months of chasing they are still refusing to fix my stove. DO YOURSELF A FOVOR FIND SOMEONELSE TO WORK ON YOUR APPLIANCES. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
