Always a fun time to go in. They have a large putting green that is a lot of fun. The crew is extremely helpful and patient with all of your questions. You can always go in there and try different clubs, even if you’re just browsing- they really mind. Fun, lighthearted, and engaging environment.
Visited the superstore during Memorial Day weekend to pick up a few things for my partner. The store was soo busy it was a bit overwhelming at first and thought I may need to try and find things on my own. Within a few minutes, an employee happily approached me to welcome me and ask if I needed any assistance. I described what I was looking for as best I could, and despite my own lack of golfing knowledge, the employee quickly brought me to the right section and helped me find the equipment I needed. Was so impressed by how attentive, friendly and knowledgeable the employees are and my partner was amazed I came home with the right equipment! Thanks PGA Superstore!
This PGA store is absolutely amazing. I have spent countless hours walking around this store looking at the great merchandise but more importantly talking with the staff; getting their assistance with club fitting; and, talking about golf equipment. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. This store, and the people who work there, are the best thing that has happened to our area in a very long time.
BEST SELECTION OF TENNIS GEAR IN BOSTON METRO AREA!! If you’re a tennis player, this is where you want to go. HUGE selection of racquets, shoes, clothing, and accessories.
Ben G,Awesome club fitter spend time very detailed oriented recommend him highly really knows his stuff
Brought a graphite driver shaft in to be retired with a different manufacturer adapter. First shot with it the shaft snaps at the hosel. I tried to bring it back and the guy working there told me it happens because graphite is so fragile and couldn’t warranty the $300 shaft that broke. They never mentioned this before when I brought it in so I asked a few club builders and they all said it shouldn’t have happened if it was properly done. Tried to contact customer service and its been a joke. I’ll stick to the golfers warehouse from now on.
I went there to get a new grip on my Driver. Later that week, the grip turned about 45 degrees when golfing.Terrible.The guy who waited on me reminded me of a used car saleman.Fast talker /con man type.I didnt have a good feeling in my first contact with him.Wont go back again.Golfers Warehouse on Rt 1 always treated me right and I trust their work.
DO NOT bring your clubs here for repair or regrip. I brought in a brand new Fujikura Ventus Shaft and Callaway Epic adjustable sleeve. I noticed right away at pickup that the shaft was not all the way into the sleeve. I could have snapped my new $300 shaft with one swing. After looking here at the reviews I was not the only one with this problem. Incompetence runs wild in this store. Worst part of all they never said sorry we will make it right. I echo Joey s statement, go to Golfers Warehouse for better service
Needed some new equipment, this store has a ton of inventory so was a little lost. Patrick was extremely helpful in finding me what I was looking for and giving me a few options to choose from. Great service and very knowledgeable.
We came here on a Friday afternoon, there were ~25 customers in the store and 8 sales associates sitting around the counter, not approaching or engaging in the customers. We drove 30 minutes to come to this store, browsed and waited to be helped for 2 hours before leaving after never being helped. Terrible customer service and a real shame as we were fully planning on making a driver purchase.
The store has a just about anything a golfer would want or need. The store was clean. The staff was friendly and is a wonderful place to visit for your any golfer!
Ben was awesome helping me find some new irons that worked for me even while assisting multiple other customers.
Came to their establishment to purchase a driving iron. Asked to demo the club. 20min wait to demo a club with 5+ bays apparently all occupied. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend.
After ordering clubs and then some communication issues. Dustin and Greg had me come in and they did everything that needed to be done to rectify the situation in a timely matter.
This store is the equivalent to walking into Willy Wonka’s Factory for golfers. Not only is the store appearance great and the inside neat + clean, but Greg the GM has his store running on all cylinders. I was immediately greeted at the door and asked how they could help. Once I told them I needed a new driver, they had me start hitting in a virtual driving bay to get started. Patrick was helping me and after hitting 150 balls he concocted the perfect driver for me. Not only was I hitting it straighter, but we added on average of about 10-15 yards to my drive. If I wasn’t so exhausted after hitting all those balls I would have stayed longer to explore more of the store. Service, Cleanliness, Friendliness, and Choice of Product is 10/10. I will definitely be going again to see if I can do anything about my irons and putter. This store is the next best thing after Augusta
This has been a great addition to the area. I got fitted for new irons and the experience was great. You dont feel like any particular brand is being pushed. Hitting bays everywhere and an enormous green to test their wide range of putters. A great addition to the area.
Great selection of golf equipment with tons of hitting bays and huge putting green to try out new clubs. Staff is more knowledgeable than most big box store. Sales rep Greg is great - friendly and always greets my son & I by name. Did a nice job cutting down/re-gripping my clubs and also helped us find a nice junior set of clubs
Seems like a dozen people working and no one willing to help. Nice gear.
Great clothing selection for men and women, easy returns, plus very clean and safe.
I am mobility impaired. To get into the Peabody PGA Superstore is very difficult. The doors are very very heavy. I had a difficult time pushing against the door to get it open. It’s not bad enough that there is one door but there are two! When I went in I asked the guy if there was an easier way to get in and out thinking I might have missed a button outside. . He paid no attention to me whatsoever. He pretended that I didn’t even talk. If I didn’t have to get a gift certificate for Father’s Day. They have lost me as a customer and many more people who frequent this store who understand mobility issues for disabled people. It’s disgusting that such a big store does not even think of that.
I went to the store recently and spoke with Tim. I am a novice golfer and explained that to him. He took me on a tour of the store and spent nearly an hour with me. I discovered the clubs I currently have are not the right clubs for me. He explained why and I quickly realized I could only get little more use out of them. Time spent time teaching me many, many things about golf. He was extremely helpful, very nice and never once pushed me into anything. Needless to say I highly recommend both he and the store. I will be in at the end of October for a new set of clubs and some lessons given by him. Thanks very much Tim.HarrySecond review 10/5/19Just went in and picked out a new set of clubs. I spent an hour with Patrick, a pro there. He spent an hour with me teaching me (a beginner) technique and trouble-shooting, and fitting me to a set of clubs personally. He was fantastic. He was patient and friendly and quite knowledgeable. Would not go to another spot for anything golf. Thanks a million Patrick!!! Harry
Such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. will never give my business to this store again.
A great experience, I went a few weeks ago and had great service (Dustin the manager was very nice), found amazing deals on clothes and walked out happy. I found the staff knowledgeable and friendly, plus they let my son and I demo clubs (including junior clubs). I used to teach golf and loved the PGA superstore in Arizona and now we have one in Massachusetts. Couldnt be happier.
I would love to give a huge shout out to Dustin Decoteau and Greg Cosgrove at the PGA Store in Peabody, MA for donating golf clubs to the next generation of young golfers. One set of the clubs is going to a young girl who recently graduate nursing school. Now that she is out of school her goal is to learn the game so she can play with her dad. I was so happy to reach out to her today to let her know that goal can now start to happen. Thank you again Dustin and Greg for paying it forward
Love the store and selection but one guy at the simulators is rude about my irons distance and makes me feel uncomfortable.
Pretty terrible fitting experience. I went in looking to purchase a new hybrid or utility iron. One employee started working with me and then said he would be right back when I asked if they had an iron in a different loft. Turns out he went to the guy in the bay next to me and started giving him better service. Then another employee asks if I need help and I tell him I was waiting for the iron, he says hell grab it. He then ends up helping the same guy next to me. I finally ask if he was able to get the iron and he says, oh, one minute. He walks about 15 steps and grabs it. That was all anyone had to do?!? Pretty lousy customer service all-in-all, and I felt it was unjustified to buy anything from them.Update: the club repair did a great job and offered to send out my club after it was completed because they were a day behind on orders.
I have been a member of this location since it opened. I have to tell you that this has been one pleasant experience. The guys are awesome and so it’s the store. A big shout to - Greg, Dustin, Phil, Steve, Patrick, Ben,Shawn,Rich et. al. You guys make it happen and you guys rock. Keep up the good work.
Great selection and better staff. Everyone that I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable about the questions I ask. I will definitely be going back!
Went to pga superstore for the first and last time. I would have given them zero stars. The guys who were working there were “ whispering” about how bad I was at golf on a miss hit and my appearance. Some items were missed marked . Very disappointed
I’ve been to this location a handful of times now. Just recently purchased a set of Mizunos from these guys. Dustin really took time and spoke to me over the phone & made sure my fitting went smoothly. I placed my order & received my clubs within 4 days. Great service. Chuck also was super helpful & eager to help. He followed up with me to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Even offered to book me time on the simulator! These guys are good! Thank you!
Not a great place to work or shop. The so called manager lacks people skills, managerial skills and leadership ability. He does not communicate well with his employees and is ineffective at leading others. He is just a miserable human being. As for shopping there... Very limited left-handed selection for a Superstore and I walked around for an hour and not one person asked me if I needed assistance. I had to put my own demo clubs together so I could hit some golf balls. I wont be giving this store a dime of my money. Your best bet is to go to a local OEM demo day and then order the clubs online somewhere to save some money. The majority of the employees they hired for this store have zero golf experience - is that who you want to buy from? What a major disappointment!
Huge inventory. Prices very competitive.
Recently went here for a club fitting, totally worth the 3 hour drive. Ben Guillmette was my club fitter guru, I found him to be knowledgeable and friendly. He wasnt trying to up-sell me, he wanted me to be happy with my clubs and my experience, mission accomplished, highly recommend 🤘😎
I think this store is amazing. In my prior experience when a store opens in a new area.....that particular store goes thru an acclamation period. As they learn what we use more of around here, theyll stock in kind. But be aware....they are a brand name....they have their stuff to sell but give em time. This place is the bomb!!
Ive been a member since they opened and the staff there have been very welcoming and accommodating specifically Chuck, Ben, Dennis, Greg and Dustin who I see most often. But my most recent experience was with Phil who helped me find the perfect shaft clubhead combo for my new driver. I bought a club that wasnt quite right for me so I went back while still under the 90 day playability period. I was walked to a bay, no questions asked and Phil had me try a few driver and shaft setups that he felt would work for my aggressive swing. It didnt take too long to find a combo that had me driving it >300 yds with a consistent shot shape. A huge improvement of >20 yds. The adjustments were made in house, and I walked away with my new weapon and a big smile. Looking forward to hitting it past my buddies this season. Thanks Phil.
I called the store earlier in the day to make sure they had what I wanted to try. Guy on the phone checked with someone who said they did, invited me to come in. So I made the long drive to the store. At the store, I spoke with 3 different people (one who was standing around chatting with another group of 3 employees) who each said that I had to talk to someone else to try clubs. Once I got to the only employee who apparently does any work in the store he informed me that they did not have the clubs I wanted to try. I asked why I was told when I called that they did, he said that he wouldnt have told me that if I had talked to him on the phone. Very unhelpful.I asked about several other clubs, all which they didnt have. He also didnt seem to have any knowledge of the clubs I was asking about. At one point I had to point to the store signage showing the name and picture of what I wanted and he said he had never seen it before. This store is massive and yet the selection of clubs is awful compared to my local Golf & Ski warehouse, and those guys are knowledgeable and always honest about what they have or when theyll have it.
Typical large golf store. Most of the employees are hanging out looking for an opportunity to play with the clubs themselves, and arent that knowledgeable when they do help you. The store is big, but the selection is pretty standard. I was looking for specialty golf grips and the didnt have them. There wasnt even any one working on clubs in the shop. Disappointed.
Love golf and great store
What I dont get is they have a reward program every 300.00 spent you earn 10.00..but the funny thing is you cant use it on anything in the store ..con game back to golfers Warehouse....
The new store is great inside (I was standing in line at 8AM on opening day), but the coupons they gave out on opening day as well as in the mail are insulting and obviously a typical tactic to get consumers into the store, before the consumers realize the coupon is worthless. Their coupons EXCLUDE: PING, Titleist, Under Armour, Nike, FootJoy, ECCO, Mizuno, Babolat, select Calloway, TaylorMade, Cleveland, Srixon, XXIO, Prince, Wilson, Head, Nike, and Addidas products. So, what are we supposed to use the coupon for.... If youre going to the store in the hopes of using a coupon, read the exclusions first.
Very disappointed, no driving irons minimal selection of utility woods,Not a large selection of putters many of the same ilk taking up space, no center shaft putters. Not a large selection of sizes in clothing, of course you can order what you want, but then why would you call yourself a SUPER STORE??Won’t be back...
Excellent place to practice and monitor your shots of irons and woods, with all the statistics. Very good.
