The associates are always very helpful. I arrived 30 minutes to closing not knowing if I needed a $2 connector or a $300 pump. Since I wasnt going to have the time to buy the connector, try it, then come back for the pump, the associate suggested I buy both and return the pump still in the box the next day if I didnt need it.Unfortunately for me, I needed the pump.
RUN! BUY FROM anywhere else! We have had the worst experience buying a pool and Hot tub from this company. We purchased the pool and hot tub in late February, over 10k, and were promised the hot tub would arrive and be installed by March, and the pool in late April early May. The pool showed up first week of mach but no hot tub. It took 5 weeks to get the hot-tub delivered! i understand you use a third party delivery company but our hot tub was held hostage by the delivery company who would only deliver in our area on Mondays, then twice the truck broke down, but once the hot tub was delivered and hooked up and turned on, we got nothing. broken from the factory. a week later after we were able to find a tech to look at it, he found a rag shoved in the pump impeller. purchased in February and wasnt able to enjoy our hot tub till May!Fast forward to now, here we are in June and the pool is still sitting in my driveway on a pallet. Namco still will not give us a installation date or return our calls. please read the reviews i wish i would have, this company has the worst costumer service.
The best customer service manager at this location is Miguel. Very prompt, details- oriented manager. Excellent communication skills which Miguel has would greatly benefit Namco going forward. Great job, Miguel- and many thanks for your hard work and help with our purchase!
I purchased a pool the first of March it was $6600. $2000 was for installation. The pool has been sitting in my yard for over six weeks.i have been calling the person who is suppose to install it and his response was well who are you. He said namco never gave him any information other than my name. Namco told me when I purchased it that I was all set now were playing see daw
Don’t listen to the bad reviews on here. They’re from previous owners from two years ago. Miguel, the manager, helped us with everything we needed. We will be back.
The employees are awesome and really do care about customers. They go above and beyond for everyone.
Be careful of the 50% Sale first they say it will ring up on the register and then they tell u it’s the marked price.

Purchased pool in February 21 with an install date estimated for mid June. Was told buy early since install is on a first come first served. Pool has been sitting in my garage since February. Melanie the installation coordinator out of corporate claims Peabody never sent my paperwork (Peabody Manager claims paperwork was sent in February as has it all in writing). She never put in my work order in until last week when I started making calls. Now my install date is August. I paid around $2500 for install and not a single person is contacting me to return my installation payment. I’ve called corporate almost daily. Next stop is small claims court!
Horrible customer service. Started our process of getting a pool back in mid April. Salem NH store was useless, so I came here. Very helpful at first. Told us we could do financing (to which we thought was through them like most stores do---nope its through wells fargo). I was informed I will receive a confirmation in a hour. We received nothing all day. I called back the next day and was given the same run around. By the end of the day I demanded answers on what to do because pools were selling fast and install was booking up (this was in begin. May). We found out a week later we were not approved. In the meantime I sent numerous emails and called several times and was promised a response I never got. I found out via email we were denied for some reason. We decided we wouldnt finance and we will just put it on our card then paid it outright. Well, they seemed to careless once we were denied. 3 days i was held up trying to get responses. Nothing. Saturday morning (now the end of May) I marched into Namco in Salem NH and we bought our pool with installation. This year has been a horrible experience with getting a pool, but this store held up so much of our time and made things worse. We were determined to get a pool and did everything on our end promptly so we could get rhe process rolling. Its really sad we went back to a store we had trouble with originally because this store (Peabody) location had such horrible communication skills and major lack in customer service.

Terrible customer service. Came in looking for a part and workers immediate response was uhh were low on stuff, we havent gotten a shipment. Showed him part on their website and was useless. I found the part immediately behind him. No masks were worn by employees. No social distancing. Place should be shut down.
I have requested a refund/return over a week ago. I have been told it was processed 3 or 4 times. Yet the next day I was told it wasn’t. I still don’t have my money back and it’s been 11 days. I have called corporate multiple times and have not got a return call.
So I bought my pool here 4 or 5 years ago. The staff was great however the manager has since left and the next wave of employees, still knowledgeable however the 3rd wave of employees seem like they have no clue. If you can get in touch with them its a miracle. I was lucky enough to do that only to tell them what I needed down to the part #. Only to have them respond with I dont know what you are talking about. This happened 3x. I am in customer service if this was my employee fired on the spot! No helpwouldnt look my account up, explained what system I had 3 times and then responds with what do you want me to do try pools.com... you get 2 stars because of previous staff!
We are first time pool owners, and the sales experience was terrible. The salesman suggested a saltwater pool system, which we bought, along with the warranty. The pool was installed and we were 100% clueless. No explanation of how to use anything or set the pool up etc. Anyway, 2 weeks later we have rust! Called Namco and my concerns were not suitably addressed after 3 weeks. Then, I get Tyler on the phone and he is amazing! Seriously unbelievable. Come to find out, the warranty is void if you use salt on my specific pool and in this case, Im glad we never set that up. Tyler was so pleasant; he understood my frustrations, had the installer out quickly to repair the leak and when we identified rust on the wall and a torn liner, he ordered us new walls and a liner to be replaced at no charge to us next Spring. He called to keep me in the loop as the warranty claim was being processed. Tyler understands quality customer service, and he is so wonderful to work with. The situation was far from ideal, but Tyler made the situation so much more pleasant.

I would just like to say. That this is the 1st review that i have ever written for any business. I bought my pool through Namco Pools in Peabody in the beginning of the pandemic. The store associate Ken Sarni gave me EXCEPTIONAL service. I was so happy and so pleased with his professionalism. He wrote up 5 different orders for me until i made my choice. I changed my mind so many times and called him a million times and i felt like such a bother to him, but he made me feel very assured that he was here to help me and wanted to take care of me and made me feel comfortable through this whole process. We crunched numbers for a few weeks, as i called him time n time again, unsure what i was doing. I felt so sorry for him because i literally called him every other day asking a million questions, which he answered every single one of them. He also answered all my emails and texts messages immediately. He was very responsive and really reliable for all my needs. The service that he gave me was hands down the best service, above all my expectations that i have had in a long time from anyone. Hes a people person,very easy going an patient, with EXCELLENT communication skills. I am a 1st time pool buyer and he made this scary process so easy for me and less stressful. He ordered everything that i needed so that i oculd get my pool up and running. I had no idea about filters and chlorinators and hoses, but he mad sure i had everything that was needed to purchase a pool. I am so happy with the installation team. The owners name is Glenn. He did a great job with his crew. And the the guy who leveled my land was Mark. He did and excellent job too. The entire process went so smoothly for me. Also the customer service girl at the main head quarters Melanie was SOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME. The entire operation from beginning to end was FLAWLESS. Thank you Kevin Sarni for all your help. You did an excellent job helping me through this and i am so happy that i chose to get my pool through you. I made the best choice that i could of have made. If anyone is looking for a pool and install and wants immediate attention/ service, call Kevin Sarni at the Peabody store in Massachusetts on rt 1. You wont find better service than him anywhere else.Ken Sarni will be my go to man for all my pool needs and i will be recommending him to anyone and everyone that asks me about my pool service. i hope this review helps future buyers and shoppers that are thinking of purchasing a pool through Namco. Mr. Nephtai Nunez was our salesman. He is highly professional and was thorough answering questions that we had. We were especially cautious that the chairs would fit exactly with our favorite dining room table. Mr. Nunez took his time in working with us on measurements, days prior to our purchase! We bought 6 outdoor chairs for our indoor dining room, And they look amazing thank you Mr Nunez.

Very helpful! I knew what I was planning on buying, but the help approached me and asked if I needed help with anything right when I walked in and assisted nicely. One of the associates Nate knows his stuff and I highly recommend talking to him. All and all I plan on going back for all my pool necessities.
What a transformation! This is not the same place we stopped into before. I had the pleasure of speaking to Jillian about hot tubs and heard that they’ve revamped the place and it shows! Jillian was fantastic, what an asset to this company. Highly recommended.
I went in today the absolute worst experience ever since I’ve been going there. Mike the Manager was literally beyond useless and rude. I had the piece in hand I needed he never even attempted to look for one. He said they don’t keep parts out back which I know for a fact was a lie he couldn’t tell me the part name he didn’t know. I asked him so many questions and every one was I don’t know funny thing is I called Salem NH store and that Manager who didn’t see the part answered my questions gave me a part number actually looked my info up. I could understand if he Mike was busy but not one person in the store as he just paced back and fourth out back. I ended up at Budget since Salem NH was far thy was at a suggestion of another customer checking out that only gets one item he can’t get elsewhere because his words also useless. The Cashier Andrew was super nice and at least tried to help. I Think this is my first review ever I really felt this was so warranted after my experience with MIKE no clue whatsoever how he is possibly the manager honestly he did absolutely nothing not even could answer one question. I will definitely not be going back ever again.

Nate was an extremely friendly, down-to-earth person who was extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store. He was so easy to communicate with and he never once pressured us into buying anything, so the whole experience was stress free and not pressured. Nate went above and beyond when he wrote out a quote for a pool, which included all the items that would cost money with no hidden costs or setbacks. He even took the time to list other options, other I cheaper options or more expensive options which have us an idea of what we we want to choose to complete our pool. Nate is a funny guy who really knows his stuff and I recommend visiting this store for the quality of their staff. Id also recommend paying a visit to this store not only because of the employees, but also the huge selection of outdoor pool/spa/patio items that they have on display and the prices were more than reasonable. I highly recommend Namco over other more expensive competitor stores because the value and experience is unmatched which makes shopping at this place extremely fun. Ugh. So frustrating. Customer service is a joke. We wanted to buy a new Cartidge Filter so we hopped in the car and drove more than a half hour to this Namco.We were ignored upon entering the store. We asked an employee where the cartridge filters were and she said, in the boxes and waved her hand in the general vicinity.There wasnt a picture, description or price on the plain brown box used for shipping. We had no idea what was in the boxes.We wandered over to the pools on the other side of the store to look at the ones that were set up. They had filter systems set up too.As we were examining one we thought may be something we could use, an employee and the customer he was working with stepped right in front of us.My husband pointed out their rudeness and the employee apologized and said he would be right with us.My family stood in the store for more than twenty five minutes and was told twice I will be right with you by the same employee.No one else approached us to help, no one inquired if we needed assistance.We finally left after watching the employee who had said he would be right with us help another customer to the register.The customers that he DID help all came in after we did.I am not sure the price of the muriatic acid one of them bought that he showed them and then brought up to the register, but I would be willing to guess not as much as the filter system we were looking to buy. I could be wrong though since we never did get that price.

Be VERY careful about purchasing a pool here! Namco is under bankrupcy and could care less about their customers. They will tell you anything to get you to buy a pool...then overcharge you on stuff you dont even need. If something breaks, you are on your own! Be extra wary of John...very sneaky and underhanded...and lies like a rug.
