Brought my 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited by this shop today to replace my stock exhaust with a new Flowmaster exhaust that I purchased a while ago. Top notch customer service (over the phone & when I arrived), one on one customer service with the tech that was working on my Jeep (which Ive never experienced). The technician gave me the option to chose either clamps or welding the exhaust. He did recommend welding it since clamps leak. I did not feel pushed to go in any particular direction. The stock exhaust was inspected by the tech before he spoke to me to check for leaks. He did find some leaks farther back from the exhaust that I provided so I decided to go ahead & get it all done at once. My appointment was at 9:00 am today & I arrived around 8:35 am. My Jeep Wrangler was in the shop around 8:45-8:50am. As a heads up if you plan to get some work done on your vehicle here, there is no seating at the shop so you will have to wait at the coffee shop about a block down the road. Very reasonably priced considering Jeeps are quite rusty on the undercarriage. Definitely would recommend if you were planning on getting some exhaust work done.

After looking around, theyre affordable and reliable and do quality workno hidden tricks or gimmicks..Ron is a man of his word, and in this day and age there are very few around anymore..if i could give more STARS i wouldi HIGHLY recommend coming here than anywhere else

They will specialize and fulfill nearly any request.I have a Chevy Silverado and brought in my own after market exhaust and wanted it not only bolted on but also welded. Do it right the first time I say. Not only does Bay State weld but they weld stainless steel, (totally different skill set). Which is what i needed and again, its what they do.Wow, what an incredibly Top Notch job they did. Been a customer of Bay State for many years starting with my first vehicle to my current 3rd. All my family and friends know and trust this company. One time I went in there expecting to spend about 600-700$ and a few hours to a day without my truck. They took me right away and made a few cuts and welded a part and I was out of the place in 30 min from the moment I pulled in and only spent a little over 100$. I was amazed at the speed and price. They will sell you only what you need and will not overcharge for unnecessary parts/labor. Professional and honest for as long as Ive known them and they have been around for many years for a reason.

These guys are really good, its a bit of a drive to get there from Boston, but they said it would take about three hours and it took about three and they got rid of the nose. We just waited at a coffee shop about 10 min away rather than heading all the way back to Boston.

Best muffler shop Ive ever been to. I took my car to one other place and they said the repair for my exhaust would be to replace parts and pay a lot of money. When I brought it to Bay State they took me in in under 10 minutes and had the fix done within the hour. All for an affordable price. I’ve been going here for years - love these guys. Honest, reasonable and thorough. I’ve gone in thinking I needed an expensive job, and they sent me away saying I didn’t actually need anything. Plus they are fun to talk with. Only problem is it’s easy to miss the entrance off route 1.

I just had the exhaust repaired on my Nissan Murano and the guys at BayStateMuffler could not have made an exhaust repair any more enjoyable. They looked at the damage, explained what had to be repaired, they then offered different options on how and what they could repair it with. The different options each had different prices and gave me options depending on my budget. I ended up going with the best option and the price was easily hundreds less than the dealer and any other place around. The work took an hour and I got a call it was ready. Great experience, great price, great customer service, and quality work. If you need exhaust work done, stop looking and just call these guys, you absolutely will not regret it.

I’ve been in the automotive industry for 20 years. The other day I heard noise coming from the exhaust and i suspected my 5 year old flomaster was on its way out. I showed up and they put it on the lift. 5 minutes later they told me that the muffler was perfect and i needed about 80$ worth of parts and labor and i would be out in an hour. Wow. I fully expected to be shelling out hundreds on a new muffler and they totally made my day with easy to understand honest news! This is a professional shop that i have always and will always trust!

They did awesome job with my exhaust pipe. There was leak and break in multiple places. Conventional auto repairers asked $900 to replace the whole system but they fixed it for $125. Also every employee in this place was very gentle and helpful. Totally recommend it.

I needed a leak fixed in my muffler to pass my state inspection. I asked on Facebook who everyone would recommend and was told this place over 10 different times! I walked in and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. He asked me if I had time to leave the car there for them to look at it. Phenomenal work, dropped my civic si off in the morning had it back in the afternoon, new exhaust looked and sounded great.

Took my car there to get an exhaust valve installed, and it came out great, top notch welds only problem was while there were working on my exhaust, my CV boot got a little nicked in it, and my has grease being thrown up. Came in for an estimate on my 00 Tundra for exhaust work. They gave a great price and even got the job done right away (I was not expecting to get any work done that day). They even offered to put in oxygen sensors without charge once I bring them in. Craftsmanship is 5 star, great customer service too. Definitely recommend.

Excellent workmanship and fair pricing for custom exhaust work. Im fairly mechanically inclined and incredibly frugal. Got burned once by an auto mechanic and since then have done all of my own repairs with the most challenging job being replacing my clutch. Great service! Dealer quoted me $900 to replace my exhaust while in for routine service and since they didnt have parts on hand, it was going to take 5 days before they could do the work. Bay State Muffler took me the following morning and 42 minutes from my arrival, I was driving away with a repaired muffler. Definitely going back there in the future!

Love these guys! Our first time here and we couldnt have had a better experience. They took our car in as soon as we walked in the door and brought us out to see/talk about the problem within 5 minutes. Took my car to a dealership because my exhaust was getting loud due to leaks in a few spots. The dealership told me that I needed to replace both mufflers ($3,000!) because the flex pipe was spent. Took it to Bay State Muffler and they welded in new flex pipe for a fraction of the price. These guys are awesome. Dropped off my car in the morning, got a phone call an hour later confirming what I wanted to have fixed, and it was done 3 hours later; I was even able to pay over the phone. Highly recommend this place.

I had a rattle which seemed to be coming from my muffler pipe. They showed me the source of the problem, which turned out to be a minor issue. They could have charged for materials and labor, but to say they were more than fair would be an understatement. Highly recommend!
