I live the food at this specific place. Theres a lot of items on the menu and Ive tried a lot of them and the food is really great. The employees here are really nice too. The food takes a short time to be made and it tastes amazing. I honestly love the place and I would definitely recommend it.

Review Date: September 20th, 2016How sweet it is.I stopped by this little Ice Cream Shack on the way back from a day in Lincoln, IL and it was a great way to end the day. As with any Ice Cream Shack, it offers a very expansive menu for being in a little building.All I got was a Peanut Butter Malt and was it good. It was comparable to the one I had at The Spotted Cow in Peoria, IL. I wouldn’t mind going back and trying their food, as I love me some tenderloins. Oddly enough, they don’t have a Yelp page, but you can find some reviews via google or their Facebook page.The only thing to be wary about are the one-way roads in Pekin, IL. They are a hassle no matter where you go, so it can lead to some minor confusion if you aren’t accustomed to it. But 8th Street is well worth the navigational issues.

Fast, friendly service!Raspberry ice cream was delicious! Cheese Fries were perfect. Wouldve given 5 stars, but there was a hair in my Cheeseburger. 😞 Too far away to turn around & come back.

Tenderloins are about ⅜ of an inch thick. Crispy and taste great. No filthy swine taste. Great with pickles and mustard. The flavor of the week is almost always really good. I think my favorite is raspberry. And you can try it with a vanilla twist. The girls are always so friendly and nice!

I was getting ice cream for my boyfriend, my kid and i. and heard a customer screaming at a worker for not doing her order correct.The BOSS then made this girl who looked young walk home. my boyfriend wanted to offer her a ride home and so we asked her how far she lived, she lived all the way by the high school and the boss knew this. she said they didn’t train her at all and it was her second day of working. definitely never going to be my first choice for a job. and never going there again. don’t disrespect unless you want it in return that’s what i always say.

I do not recommend working here, they are disrespectful. They only let me work three days a week for up to 5 hours. The last pay check i got, i only have 49$ on it. They made me walk home (almost an hour walk) after i got an order wrong so that the customer thought i got fired for it. Then fired me because i didn’t reply to a text message 2 hours before i was supposed to work because i was still sleeping. i’m sorry i don’t get up as soooon as YOU want me to because i wasn’t even supposed to work today.

This was my first time here and from the start of the visit to the end I felt like I was inconveniencing the employee by being there. Customer service was seriously lacking. Food was okay but wasnt given a wait time just told that it would be left at the next window. One of the frozen pints of ice cream was freezer burnt. Sorry but seriously disappointed.

The milkshakes and ice cream are absolutely delicious! The wait times can be extremely long as it was today, or quick in and out... its hit or miss on time. I dont like that the hot food has an almost chemical aftertaste (Ive tried the bacon cheeseburger, fries, and potato wedges). Super friendly service.

Best Ice Cream In This Nick Of The Woods..

Will not return. Ordered a chiller which is supposed to be like a blizzard I assume. I was served a cup of cold “soup”. The entire think was literally the consistency of soup.

That turtle sundae is good and their flavor of lemon ice cream is also one of the best. They need a new cookie dough though.

I have always had a great experience of enjoying ice cream here. I went to buy a quart of lemon ice cream and was told not to ask for a quart of ice cream after 6:00pm anymore. It was a quarter till 6 when I went. I understand that machines malfunction but don’t sell it if you can’t make it! Still the best ice cream in town. I just feel this young lady was just a little rude

The food is great but VERY over priced. I paid $35.36 for 2 pork chops, 1 cheeseburger, 1 order of mozzarella sticks and 1 order of cheese fries.

They have the BEST milkshakes! The customer service is also great..I would recommend this place to anyone. I literally go there everyday to have a milkshake. The food is good too! Try it if you dont believe me! I promise youll have a great experience!

I love this place in the summer they have awesome food and the ice cream is to die for. I used to live across the street so we were regular customers. Cant wait to go back this summer

Umm. What can you say about a local ice cream shoppe? You can always say AMAZING. but then again, I got a sweet tooth for most ice cream places. Not a dine in, but area to enjoy your treats.
