Great experience!My daughter needed a gown with quick turn around for a local pageant. Glitz and Glamour was perfect. We found the dress quickly, had alterations in just a few days, was able to add accessories and pull everything together. The bonus was it was budget friendly!

They played a major role in this gals life with a memory that she will take with her forever! My daughter and I came in recently to Glitz & Glamour shopping for the perfect prom dress. I will never forget the moment she walked out to look into the mirror and they turned the lights off so she could see the dress sparkle!!! It really made her Gliz & Glamour experience priceless!!! I am so incredibly happy we found this place. They have gowns for everyone!!! All sizes... including plus sizes. Alot of stores claim to have plus size options but in reality it’s like 1 or 2 dresses in the smaller plus sizes. Glitz and Glamour has VARIETY in all sizes. The owner and staff were amazing and super helpful. We traveled over an hour away and it’s worth every minute!!!!

I love Glitz! Pam is always amazing. She had offered to stay late for me when I couldn’t make it before closing. She goes above and beyond to help my daughter in finding the right dress!! We will always go to Glitz and Glamour for all our dress needs.

I have one star cause I can’t give 0!Worst place ever!I drove down from west Tn and purchased a dress for my daughters first prom. I paid over $300 for a dress that broke an hour into her wearing it. She didn’t even make it to prom. And this store didn’t seem to care and I am basically out my money and my daughter has horrid memories of her first prom and the embarrassment of having her bottom hanging out in a restaurant bathroom a ways from home and no dress for prom. We most definitely will not come back next year neither will any of the 9 girls with her that night and they were sure to tell everyone what had happened. I’m sure it won’t make a dent in their business but hope it does. Prom was a big event for her and she is left with horrible memories thanks to this store. And we are out lots of money. Wasn’t looking for a full refund but was expecting something other than an oh well sorry for ur luck

The staff at glitz were absolutely amazing!! Flee in there last minute in a crunch to see if they could alter a dress. Very last minute. Not only did the alter the dress, it was ready for pick up the next day & was free of charge!! They were Awey!! Thank you glitz crew!!

My granddaughter is short and has a hard time finding something that fits her. We had her try on about 10 dresses and nothing fit just right. Since this was first prom she and we wanted it to be perfect. The owner told us to start narrow it down she had tried on enough. There was nothing to narrow down. This was just rude and we will not be back and have told others of our experience

Very rude. The owners additude was very unpleasant and honestly made me feel uncomfortable and offended. I was shopping for a dress for my senior prom and I just recently had a baby so I was unsure of the size. The owners comments were just very out of line and made me feel as if I was fat. Even if nothing mean was meant by what she said it how she said it. It really hurt my self esteem. I ended up trying on one dress and then just left because I was uncomfortable in there. Would not recommend this this place to anyone.

The staff at glitz and glamour are all incredibly kind. Not only did they offer a photo shoot opportunity to my sister for publicity for their account they were extremely attentive to my sister in helping her find a dress for her junior prom. Once again she is in need of a prom dress for her senior prom and I know that flits and glamour is the place to go for her to find a stunning dress to stand out amongst the crowd. Lots if similar posts here. I wish there was an option for no stars. Shop has big variety but owner is extremely rude and unhelpful.I purchased my daughter’s dress a month prior to prom and had the alterations done through the shop.This person had a month to complete the alterations.The Saturday before prom I called and the manager said the dress is not back and told me she would call me back.She didn’t and I called back twice. The first time a girl took my phone number and when I called back again she gave me the run around.We showed up at the shop and the owner was extremely rude and said she couldn’t call the person doing alterations. I said we will wait. I spoke to her as we waited and she completely ignored me. Ignored me speaking to her. This is the WORST place to shop. Do not buy a dress from this place!!!!!!!!

They made prom dress shopping so much more enjoyable. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Even my 17 year old daughter said she had never felt so comfortable while shopping because nobody made her feel like she was bothersome. I highly recommend!!

Just a small shop, not enough variety in styles or colors. Not enough options for a modern bride wedding. Customer service was questionable at best. We were told, within minutes of arriving, that you just didnt have anything for us. Didnt offer to order or even try to show us anything that might have changed the brides mind...which did happen at another store. Bride was beautiful in an alternate style and color. Wedding and marriage successful.

Glitz & Glamour is a great place for pageant and prom dresses. We always find what we are looking for at reasonable prices. My girls have been shopping here for 15 plus years. Although the ownership changed recently, shop is still the same. Check them out next time your need a beautiful dress!!

This is the worst experience I’ve had at a dress shop. They didn’t have a good selection first off not for the size we were looking for. Then I was looking at dresses and was informed that I needed to go to the back of the store, and those were the ones I could chose from. Staff wasn’t helpful and told me one thing was ok and then owner came out and told me it wasn’t more than time in different situations. Then made to feel like we were more of a bother than customers. The last straw was when the owner told me my daughter had plenty of dresses she had already tried on so pick from those. When we were not 100% happy with anything we had tried on!! Seriously!! We never even had the chance to try on a dress to purchase only rentals. Never again!! My daughter has been doing pageants for years and does well. I was talked to in a manner that was unprofessional and she rushed all the way through the experience. Oh and careful you may be looking at a dress and it may be a rental hanging on the rental rack, but several was taken off the rack in front of me and Didn’t get the chance to try them on. Because the owner simply said she cannot rent those!! I was never against buying a dress no matter the cost. We do lots of pageant so we buy our dresses a lot, she made me feel like I wouldn’t be able to afford some of her dresses. Lady you don’t know me?!! First and only time I will ever go to this shop. This review was edited after the owner replied seeing as how she made it where I cannot make another review or reply to hers.Absolutely horrible. I dont recommend this dress shop to anyone, especially if you plan on getting alterations.Let me explain since the owner wants to act like its my fault. When I bought the dress I had it set up for alterations, nothing complicated. I came back a few weeks later to try it on and to pay the alterations. ALL the alterations were wrong, nothing was done the way I asked for it to be. The owner was very rude and acted irritated that she had to deal with what THEY messed up. She told me thats what you agreed on. When I purchased the dress then made the alterations, they were perfect. When I got the dress back nothing was right. I waited about a month for a notification saying my dress was finished. I ended up having to call because the owner never texted me. My sister and I got to the shop and we were greeted by a very disrespectful owner once again. I had my heels so I could try on the dress, she looked at me and said I thought I made it very clear that you couldnt try on your dress, but apparently I didnt. She wanted me to pay for alterations on a dress I couldnt try on. She told me to come AFTER April or whenever the virus is gone to come back to try it on. I told her that my prom date was moved so I didnt know when it was going to be. I needed enough time to make sure everything was good with the dress just in case I needed to get another one. I asked her what we could do about the situation and that I wanted a refund seeing as they could just take out all the alterations to make the dress look like it did before I purchased it. She told me no they dont do refunds because of how the dresses are. I was not told when I bought the dress that I couldnt refund it even though I never took it home. Turns out its on the very bottom of their receipts in small print. I told the owner that every alterations was wrong before so I couldnt take a chance on getting it and it still not being correct. She proceeded to tell me that she didnt think everything was wrong. It doesnt matter what she thinks is wrong or right with the dress. It matters what I think because Im the one paying/wearing the dress. She was very rude and disrespectful to me but yet was nicer yet still rude to my sister. I never once gave her a reason to be so rude, I never had an attitude. I understand mistakes happen, but I dont understand a rude and disrespectful owner who acts irritated when a customer has a problem with something. The girls there she has working were very polite and helpful. Its the owner that has such a bad attitude when you ask her to fix things. This is my 4th prom, I know my way with dresses and dress shops. Its not that hard to fit a dress to my body type, the alterations were so simple. Instead they took the easy way out when performing the alterations, and it shows. Ive been to several dress shops and dealt with many people but this shop by far is the worst. The owner wants to blame me for their carelessness. I never told her my prom was cancelled, I told her the date was moved. She told me to come after April, its now May 1st. The BBB will be hearing of the shops actions as soon as possible. If you are not going to care about your customers and if theyre happy or not, dont own a dress shop.

My daughter and her boyfriend decided at the last minute to go to prom. We were scrambling for a dress and the people at Glitz & Glamour were SO patient! I believe she tried on 9 dresses before choosing one, and they never batted an eye. Super helpful and wiling to go above and beyond to make her happy with a dress. We will definitely be back next year, but it wont be at the last minute! Highly recommend!

My daughters school changed the date of the pageant and the new date conflicted with her gymnastics competition schedule...very nice staff, but refused to give any kind of refund not even a partial refund for a dress rental...and the new date is in April so they have several months to re-rent the dress to someone else
