Great service. The manager is so helpful and friendly and all the staff are the same making sure you everything you need. And if they dont have it they are willing to order it or go out of their way to find somewhere that does have it. Love this place!

Every time I go in, the staff has been polite, friendly, and have even gotten some good laughs. They have an extreme variety of stuff. If you need it, they probably have it.

Stop there to get bait to go fishing at the river and something to do drink. Their prices were a bit higher than other places but the service was good and it was quick and the attendant was helpful with information.

Go there quite often, so Ive gotten to know the employees by name, as they have mine.They have basically anything you want from a gas station. Gas, food, drinks, liquor, vapes, cigarettes, even fishing stuff.

Diane and Miles are wonderful people! They are very nice and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They will also go above and beyond to help you any time! I am a type one Diabetic and they were wonderful to help me in my time of need when my blood sugar got too low at their store the other day. Wonderful service, I give them 6 stars out of 5! Thank you so very much! I will be back to buy products from you again!

Stopped here to gas up, but all the cheaper pumps were covered. The other fuel was way overpriced.They dont have fountain pop, so I bought a water and it rung up the price for the bigger bottle. The lady at the cash register didnt know how to fix it. We will avoid this place next time we go to Red Rock! It is worth the extra 4 miles to drive into Pella!

This has it all! From drinking to vaping, even going fishing. Live baits, good selection of adult beverages and tabacoo. Their electronic cigarette deletion was good for the size of the town. Employee there at the time should know more or been educated on the merchandise that is sold.

New Star carries reasonably priced alcohol, vaping juice/hardware, tobacco, headshop glass/papers and bait for fishing. Their location makes it convenient quick stop for people out enjoying the lake and on the northwest side of Pella. The staff might not be the most knowledgeable about vaping stuff, but if you know what you need, you will find it!

Ridiculous location. Poor service and product offerings. For a while, their gas pumps were tagged by the state.

I showed up at 10 when they dont close till 11 and the guy was leaving and didnt even come back and open up even tho they dont technically close till 11

New Star is a great place to stop at if you’re in need of vape supplies quickly. Their prices are quite high, so if you’re looking to stock up, Smoking Hot in Oskaloosa or one of the many vape shops in Des Moines are a better deal. Liquor and cigarettes are cheap and bait is also available.
