Went there yesterday to buy a few goodies and got a cake roll. When taking it out of the packaging and eating it I noticed it had a very strong acetone smell, and then I started inspecting it and also saw that it had mold. First time this has happened to me since buying goods from there for nearly 4 years.

A little pricey. No fresh vegetable. But, store is well stocked with packaged goods. Of the items we were shopping for, we did NOT see any on the shelves that are passed the freshness date (or Best By date.Speedy checkout.

They have a very nice selection of groceries and kitchen supplies. Dry goods, prepared and refrigerated food, and frozen foods are nicely stocked. Instant cup noodles are on one side of the store and meal kits are on the other side. They do make curry, cha su and some other treats but they go fast and they rotate the choices. They have a great selection of sliced meats for hot pot or BBQ and the sauces and side dishes to go with it. Check their website for weekly and monthly specials.

Its a great place to shop for Korean and Japanese products. Very kind people different from all other grocery store chains. I like the Korean kitchen utensils in the side of the store.

I usually go to their other location on US 1 & south 152nd street. This location is much bigger and has more item selection.Overall excellent market for Asian food items. Good prices, great variety, staff are nice too

It is fair price, not ripping off price. Meat selection is nice, too.

The only Korean market I know. The manager, with limited English, helped me find all the ingredients from a dish I showed him through YouTube. I recommend it.

Been here twice in one week. I can’t believe it took me so long to find a Korean market. I lived in S. Korea & as soon as I walked in this Mart I was brought back to Daegu (Taegu). I love all the goodies it had that we discovered while we were there. Milk shake ice cream pouch, sweet pancakes, home run balls (choco snack), citron tea, onion ring chips & a few other items I have no idea what they’re called.

The staff is nice and they always have stuff in stock. Wish they had cucumber kimchi more often.

I left the kimchi mart about 20 minutes ago and had a very horrible experience. I was shopping with my sister and we were blatantly being followed around the store. One older Asian male followed us down two different aisles acting as if he was checking on things but there was zero restocking going on. He not once touched anything, just kept eyeing us. The other follower was a very rude older Asian woman. She came down the same aisle and was watching us yet not touching anything. When I approached her to ask for a price check she was shocked to find me approaching her and rudely told me to check at the cash register. Down another aisle the same woman blocked my path and was throwing down boxes. When I told her excuse me she made a big show of moving out the way as if I was inconveniencing her.Weve been shopping at the kimchi mart for several years and have never been so disrespected. Not one other person was being followed or watched, just two black women who didnt even have a purse in their hands yet did have a shopping cart full of groceries. I will not be spending my money here again until this store learns their problematic ways. Just because a person is black does not mean they are a thief.

I have shopped at this store for years; however, who knew shopping at kimchi mart this afternoon would allow room for the most disrespect Ive felt in a while. It was uncomfortable being followed around by multiple employees like I was there to rob the place. I couldnt help but noticed how all the other non-black customers were free to shop leisurely while my sister and I were being continuously monitored. While this store has what I like, not sorry to say, I will not be bringing my business back to them.

Helpful staff and nice selection of Korean items.I didnt find every single thing that I wanted but the variety was more than good enough compared to other Asian markets nearby(Bonus points for having Maangchis cooking videos playing on a big screen). Will definitely shop here again.

Absolutely love this location. Always kept clean, well organized and stocked. Prices are reasonable and parking is ample. I enjoy the variety of choices and the staff is always friendly. I asked the staff for suggestions on what Korean food I should try. Everything they suggested was on point, delicious. If you’re in this store and need help don’t hesitate to ask for help . By the way keep in mind that the store is kept very cold for some reason. Bring some outer garment so you don’t freeze...

I can’t compare to those Korean Market / Asian market in California but this supermarket has all I wanted and has a lot of selections, it’s like a decent Asian supermarket

This is my go to Korean mart in the area. They are well stocked clean and the staff are friendly. You can get everything food related to in store made goods. They have Asian goods you might be surprised to find. If you want something adventurous for dinner you can whip up something amazing with what they have on shelf.

To my great regret, I do not recommend this store. The kimchi was not salty, bland, just sprinkled with spices. The beer was also expired. Be careful.

Has all of the basic korean produce and products you would need. The cashiers are always friendly and welcoming. I look for trendy Asian foods and snacks and they seem to have a good selection. I am hoping for more prepared/cooked foods like Korean pancakes and chicken wings in the future.

Very good...worth the 2 hours drive from West Palm Beach! You can find so much great products from South Korea.

Just left there. Loved the vibe! They had everything I needed, it was clean, bright, and they played music. Most of the staff look like young adults, so as a college student, I felt very comfortable. This is my new go-to store!

Favorite Asian specialty grocery store. Has tons of Korean goods sprinkled with a few other Asian products such as Japanese and Chinese. Right when you walk in to the left theres a variety of rices (red and black being unique) and beans (favorite are mung and red bean). They have so much Korean noodle variety. I couldnt help but go on a shopping spree to try a good amount. Their frozen dumplings are plenty and amazing too, especially the spicy ones. I always have fun shopping here. Maybe a little too much because my wallet hurts after. Highly recommend.

Great place to shop asian food

I actually love what I find here and their price is fair. Which is why I think people keep buying up my favorite Kirin milk tea. It is like 1 or 2 dollars more everywhere else. I am not going to lie, I am definitely part of the problem since I buy like 4 or 5 big bottles when it is in stock. Oh they also have my favorite soda McCol! Only place I have found it otherwise was in Atlanta at H-mart. Yeah and no one needs to remind me they only see old people drinking McCol and I seem pretty young to be drinking it. I grew up on barley tea so whats wrong with drinking barley soda?

Pretty good selections and great meat selections for BBQ and shabu shabu. Also decent produce section and snacks variety of Chinese and Korean and Japanese sorts. Everyone wore a mask!!!!!

Always great service! Clean and organized. Even though they have sooo many different items, I really dont feel overwhelmed. My daughter LOVES that they always have her favorite type of rice cakes in stock. I always try to make sure I have my Lee Kum Kee Black Bean Garlic sauce fully stocked at home and Kimchi Mart always has it among other favorites. Im glad they are located where they are. ❤🙌🏾

Excellent for real spicy food

We’ve been here for a long time. When the COVID 19 starts, this store has changed. Many people are visiting and the business get better, While it brings more side effect.The price is expensive than before.And the cooked food such like chicken wings and stir fried noodle, they did not sell it anymore. In recent days they start selling, while it no more discount after 7pm. So we don’t know the rest of those cooked food will sell it tomorrow or they will throw it away.

Nice ethnic food. Have a few fresh Korean specialites. Cooked daily to take out. Its a small store well managed. Have fresh produce as well. Frozen imported products.

Great store. I love the variety of ramen, sauces/pepper pastes, bulk rice, gyoza and more. Their 반찬 selection is also on point and well stocked. I’ll continue to come here often.

Nice korean mart. They have fresh produce but their strength is all the dry and frozen packaged goods ranging from mind boggling varieties of dumplings, noodles, pancakes to desserts! Lots of different Korean and Japanese sake, shoju and rice wines. Friendly staff as well.

My favorite asian market in town. They have a variety of mostly Korean and Japanese products, which I love! The people are helpful and they have Korean speaking and English speaking employees. Ive bought seaweed salad, bulgogi, marinade, coffee drinks and more. Ive had a lot of fun buying food products from here and cooking authentic recipes at home!
