Acme is a solid grocery store. It has most everything you need. You could definitely do all your grocery shopping exclusively out of the store, as I do. While it is disappointing that New Jerseys alcohol laws do not allow them to carry beer or wine, their selection of normal foodstuffs is comprehensive. That being said, the only thing that they really lack is as large a imported and ethnic food section as that I am used to in other grocery stores (other stores located in Florida which have a very diverse population, and demand the diversity in food as well). Solid store.8.7 out of 10.However, I do have just one complaint. A lot of people that work there dont seem to know how to wear a mask properly. They do wear a mask, and I commend them for it, its just a mask has to be properly fitted in order to do anything. Hanging off of your chin is not an appropriate way to wear a mask. If its not over your nose, it does not work. You need to breathe into it. I want people safe, happy, and healthy. In a grocery store, of all places, should be as sanitary as possible.They would have in 9.5 out of 10 if everyone had a fitted respirator. The remaining 0.5 missing is because they dont have any high temperature box milk, or Santa Maria Molé. Both of those are very good I suggest getting them a try.

Clean, good-selection of foods in general, decent gluten free selection. Fair prices with good sales. Sales Associates and Managers always go out of their way to be helpful. Enjoy shopping experience here!

Acme usually has a everything I need when I go. Of course its more expensive than save alot and you know what you are getting.

Theres always fresh food seafood and everything you can need never is there anything that is out of stock, well last week the drinks were pretty bad out of stock but besides that I give it five stars.

Acme has a very good selection but their prices are much higher than that of Food lion and Shoprite.

Terribly expensive and force you to buy multiple of the same item to save pennies or drive to another state for fair prices.

I shop with a list and I found everything that I needed at Acme. The customer service was very helpful and professional.

Has all the foods you could want. From snack, and exotics to fresh cut deli meats, and fresh shrimp and all kinds of salads. Also has one of Acmes Sav-on Pharmacy, with quick drop off or called in prescriptions to easy pick ups, with good knowledgeable staff in all areas of the store. Easy quick checkout for quick shopping and fast checkout for big shoppers. Highly recommended!

Nice grocery store. It’s nice having it in the area and is perfect for picking up things on your way home from work thanks to it’s close proximity to 295, the NJ Turnpike, and Delaware Memorial Bridge. The layout flows well and it doesn’t seem to get overly crowded. I can’t say much about the checkout services as I almost exclusively use self checkout and the lines are usually short. The machine can be a little annoying and you can’t scan things quickly / move things around in the bagging area. Overall it is good and serves its purpose.

I spend 157.00 and I was trying to use 5.00 off coupon they would not let me. And the day I came was the last day to use it. Im new to the place. If I was a regular or someone they knew. Im sure it would not have been a problem.

Too expensive..though everything getting too expensive. Unfortunately the only game in town-tgerwfore no incentive to lower prices Would be nice to have other supermarket choices, that competition may help prices and give consumers another choice and save $$

The only big name brand food store available to Pennsville residents. Highly recommend that you join the rewards program online this will be reduce your food bill 25 to 35% plus special offers for you depending on your shopping style.

I just love ACME they have an incredible selection and even with COVID right now the shelve were fully stocked. I stopped going there due to transportation Im so glad thats not an issue anymore. The prices are a little on the high side but they have great sales. I highly recommend shopping at ACME😁👍

Always have awesome prices and deals for fried chicken every Monday. And if you down load the app u earn points for free stuff.

I like this store for the most part, but prices are VERY HIGH! One thing that really upsets me though, one lady in the deli department seems to get upset when you ask for your cold cuts sliced very thin. I understand it’s hard, but we can’t eat them if they’re not sliced thin. Bought over $40 worth one day and the meat was too thick and I threw them out! Another time, they sliced a pound of the slicing pepperoni and left the plastic wrapper on and each piece had to be peeled (UNBELIEVABLE). And then last week the roast beef was bad! I just don’t understand why I seem to ALWAYS have a problem with that department!!!

Average Supermarket, has everything youll need

An extra big ACME with lots of variety. Keep your eye on the website to catch nice meat sales. Exceptional produce department with lots of fresh cut items, fruit salad, and harder to find items. Id give it five stars but shopping at ACME requires following their sales to save money. (For me. Some might find saving time and getting everything at one nice store worth spending a little more.)

Acme in PV is the worst grocery store in this area. The shelves are always bare and the food is always the same in the bakery and deli dept. Im taking my business to Acme in Woodstown or LoganTownship or Shop-Rite!

This is literally the worst acme in the world! Today I came to get my wic items, my daughter is almost 1 years old and in ALL that time I have never been asked for a folder and I have been waited on by the same lady for the last year! She asked me for my folder I told her I did not have it she claimed it was a new rule that everybody needed to have their folder and would not serve me, being that every time in the past she has never asked me for one she should have honored it and told me next time to have it!! All she did was stare at the checks my baby was crying she could have just honored it this one time. That was just the last straw with this Acme.

Most of the time you cannot find the items advertised on sale. The Woodstown and Beckett Acme are much better.

They have alot of variety, and their rewards app ends up saving my family a large chunk of cash every month. Their chicken bar has the tastiest grilled I swear- KFC got nothing on them. Staff is kind and welcoming, and always chipper. Their weekly sales CLAP (usually).

The pharmacy at Acme has some of the best pharmacist and people working there. Theyre always friendly, and on top of things. Ive never had a problem. The store itself is extremely clean, and a pleasure to shopping its just really big.

Everyone loves the acme so do I. You usually can find some great deals my fellow customers beware of these deals I’ve purchased items that had extended dates on the expiration date but upon opening the product it’s old or the package inside has an expired date which you won’t know until you get home and SUPRISE!

Although the place was extremely crowded because of holiday, store was clean, everything was stocked and registers were open
