The lighting wasnt the best. Now, the lighting was great in some sections but lacking in others. Thats a very small nit pick. Definitely going back.

Sure you can order everything in this store cheaper, but definitely the go-to place when you need it now. Typically the staff can vary from knows way too much to didnt make it as a door greeter at Walmart, but which is better Im not sure. I am grateful to have a West Marine nearby though, and will continue to need them as long as I have boats.

Polite helpful staff with an outstanding selection of all things boat. One of the best return policies on the West marine brand items. Not cheap though, but it also wont fall apart easily.

The place is clean and the staff are nice. Unfortunately, they didnt have an xs dog lifevest but they had at least a dozen size small (& several other in larger sizes). Plus, I gave a staff the display shoe in a size 11 and requested the partner shoe. She gave me a box with size 13s and told me it was the pair of size 11s. I should have checked behind her but I didnt. My fault. My wife picked out shoes but they only had 3 size options even though they had 5 color options. 😒

West Marine & Spot x. Don’t waste your money on this product. I purchased a Spot x from West Marine and got the unlimited plan. I was getting codes on the screen and could not get any text from my wife or friends. I had this device for 3 weeks and tried to return it to West Marine in Pensacola Fl and was told they would not refund me my money even tho it was not working right. Spot told me I had to get a refund from West Marine and they told me I had to get one from Spot. So now I have a 250$ junk Spot sitting around worth nothing. O and they would not refund me the money on the plan that I paid for. I purchased a Inreach from Garmin and it works every time I have used it. Don’t waste your money here on a Spot X.

You can find much more online for cheaper prices. Also, you get harassed a zillion times if they can help you with something. I understand they do it for theft reasons, however, it ruins the shopping experience for someone who just wants to take their time and browse. They definitely lost alot of business with us as my husband was getting frustrated being asked repeatedly every few minutes if they could help him... we decided to purchase a few things and we left, we will complete the rest of our shopping online.

West Marine, boy they have a lot to choose from, but I was only looking for a local Pensacola water 🗺️🗾 map. They were sold out and didnt have any at there warehouse. So if you are interested in a local map call before going.

For some reason I still go here hoping for change. I never get the help I need either I walk around for ten minutes while they ask everyone else if they need help and have to stalk an employee untill they finally say May I Help You or maybe its just me. I will leave it at that.

Sure you can find most of the products sold here for cheaper online, but nothing beats the convenience of walking into your local West Marine after realizing mid-project that you need some marine-specific fastener or thing-a-ma-jig to close up your boat for the day. (And what boat owner isnt always in need of something mid-project?) The beauty of this is that West Marine will match online pricing on most things, so youll walk out knowing that you didnt really overspend on your need-it-right-now purchase. Everyone at the Pensacola West Marine is super helpful, theres a Home Depot next door, and the Raceway that shares this corner sells ethanol-free gas at every pump.

Very helpful in trying to find boat motors. Right now Id buy from their online if you can since shipments are still sporadic in coming in.

Store is clean and well organized. I received some bad advice from their salesmen. I provided my make/model of my Yamaha outboard. He wasnt sure which fitting I needed...but said buy both, you can always return what you dont need. He should have said what you dont try. When I went to return, different salesman said if it touches fuel, its considered hazardous and we cant take it back.I will still go to West Marine for hard to find boating accessories...but for expert advice on marine, Ill stick with Posners Marine.

Great place when you need things now. I could shop there all day. A little steep on prices but they do price match amazon which most stores dont do. Make sure its sold by Amazon!

Excellent layout seems like a newer store. Has a great size to it which allows them to carry alot more product. I wish the fishing section was as large as the one at Saint Johns Towncenter in Jax, but I cant really complain about that.

Im really not sure how many stars to give this place. Everytime i go in here either the price is ridiculous or they cant seem to find what im looking for... most of the people in there have no idea about boating it was that way wjen i had my sailboat and its that way with my ski boat... i gave the guys all the serial numbers to my outdrive and they still could not find the parts i needed... unless you have a part that they can look at and match it up by looks forget about getting any help here

I really like West Marine for their selection of items but theyre just too expensive. I wish it was easier to support them because a trip there can save a boating weekend but whatever you need is going to be at a significant premium to other online options. Id hate to see them go the way of other brick and mortar retailers but unless the prices get more competitive its hard to justify shopping there unless its an urgent need.

Place is pretty pricy BUT anything that deals with boating or marine is pricy. The products are really good quality and the service is outstanding. Super helpful customer service. I haven’t had anything bad to say other then prices but that isn’t their fault.

Since they consolidated both stores into one. It has been a great for all around here. Parking is big enough and all their selection on items its great.

Great selection of all your water sport needs. From Saltwater to Fresh, boat equipment, to apparel. They have everything.

The current store manager has re-taken control of the store. The employees are helpful and friendly within their knowledge base. If you go in there with an idea of what you need they will keep you on the right track. Keep in mind this location is a small store, I find items have to be ordered from time to time.

Was not happy...purchased something over the internet giving my credit card information and was informed that the item had to be ordered - four days later - got a phone message top come in and pick it up!....I had to drive 20 minutes to the store and when I got there - they wanted to see my credit card which I left at home. Customer Service told me that they only authenticated my credit information when I placed the order.....Too much work to drive all the way back home to get the card...so I cancelled the order. You can buy the same items less expensive elsewhere!

Omg! They are overpriced! Very judgy staff needs lessons about bookcovers and appearances not being what they appear. Someone needs to open a marine discount store to create some competition and bring pricing down.

Tried to find if they carried a product, put on hold. They could order it for me, put on hold again. Another person came on the phone and I explain what I wanted and was put on hold again. Three put on holds in less than 10 minutes. I hung up I guess they did not want my business. Will not bother them ever again..

200+% price increases are completely unnecessary. The store stock is great and nice enough employees, but I do not shop here because of the terrible prices. I believe if they prices were fair, the quantity of sales would increase. In the mean time, Amazon prime 2 day shipping is way too advantageous to warrant getting gouged here.

I went to West Marine today to return some items that still had the price tag and bar codes still on them. For my neighbor. I told them I didnt have a receipt and would like to return them for a gift card ( not cash ). So after standing around for 10 min going thru two different managers I was told even though they carried these items in stock. They would not return them because I didnt have a receipt. This place is a JOKE! I spend couple a of grand here every year and you just LOST my business for good!
