I was able to get everything I was looking for. Tommy was very helpful. Mark however was abrasive in demeanor, showed a lack of customer service skills. I would recommend going elsewhere just to avoid confrontational situations.

What a wonderful experience with James and Surplus Warehouse in Pensacola !! Our local Surplus Warehouse here in Panama City, FL, was damaged and closed after Hurricane Michael. We had previously purchased all of our new doors from them during our remodel a couple of years ago prior to the storm and needed to replace some doors that were damaged from the storm. James was willing to go the extra mile for us and helped us get the doors we needed so we can get back into our home. Thank you for providing such great customer service! I recommend them highly.

Weve been wanting to replace our carpet with engineered wood/laminate, and I got a flyer in the mail for Surplus Warehouse. I wandered in just to see what they had, and ended up finding everything I needed and more. They had a huge selection of laminate, vinyl, real wood, and wood-mimicking tile, and they were displayed in a way that made it easy to quickly decide which I liked. More than that, though, the help provided by Dex really went above and beyond.I had tried to educate myself about the options, but when it comes to laminate flooring, there is so much conflicting information out there. Dex helped me understand the differences in the types of products, made me aware of important things to consider for each, and also gave me contact information for a few installers to try. The person Dex recommended for installation is extremely fairly priced, and has a great approach to his work, and we couldnt be happier.Surplus Warehouse has such phenomenal prices that we were actually able to afford updating the baseboards and doors as well. Much more importantly to me, though, every single person I spoke with there was courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were happy to share information and make recommendations, and they made it easy to do business with them. The gentleman that helped us was from Panama City and he was working our store because the Panama City store was damaged in Hurricane Michael. Despite all he was going through and dealing with in his home town, he was cheerful, helpful and very polite. Keep up the great work!

I had already priced at a competitor and the project was going to cost me close to $800. I went in the store just looking and the salesman was very helpful with my limited knowledge of the project & gave me a price of less than half of what I was quoted. I went back 2 days later to purchase flooring, net a different salesman who was equally as helpful and got everything I needed. I will now be a continuous customer and will refer anyone to the store!

Ive been to this store 3-4 times in the last month and will still go back there first before going to Lowes or Home Depot while finishing my project. They have been overly helpful at each visit (even considering they are in a warehouse with NO A/C!) Everything I have purchased for my current project has costs 1/2 or more less than the above-mentioned stores. Just wanted to share my honest feedback about the store, over-all. Considering the heat, cold, rain and any other weather element that they are pretty much working in everyday, all day, for people like us :)

I was in this store for the first time today. I live in Fort Walton Beach and typically use that store. Ive tolerated the FWB store because the prices are very good, but was typically frustrated by the messiness of the facility, and stock that is usually beat up as well as very inconsistent. Ive been waiting for almost two weeks for doors that Id already paid for at the FWB store, only to keep hearing, The next truck may have doors on it. Frustrated that my project was being held up, I called the Pensacola store and they had everything I needed. When I arrived, they had already pulled and carted the doors for me. All I had to do was pay and I was on my way. The employees were super and I was very pleasantly surprised to see what a neat, well organized, and well stocked facility it was. It was a night and day difference between the Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach stores. I told the employees Id be back. Based on my experience there today, from now forth Ill spend the extra time and gas money to make the trip to the Pensacola store.

I was getting ready to renovate my bathroom when my car broke down outside the warehouse. While waiting for assistance I passed my time by taking a look around. Talked to John about my project and that was it.... bought three vanity units with sink and granite top, and a beautiful European frameless double shower door. All were hundreds of dollars off what I was expecting to pay. Everyone was helpful and nice so I went back again when we began planning a kitchen renovation. Jon helped enormously and gave me tons of ideas. I found him to be very knowledgeable and experienced. He planned everything out and at no time did he try to sell me anything.... in fact he was very honest and told me when he felt I did not need something. The other staff are nice too and friendly.... have been back so many times now and would not dream of begining a new project wihout checking them out first. I previously would not have gone near a place like this as I thought it would be tat on sale but not so. I bought a lovely front door $400 less than in Lowes. Could not reccoment them more strongly.

Customer service sucks!! Three men standing up front and no one would help, when asked about a price of flooring material, I got a quick (dont bother me) answer, not accurate either, with a bad attitude response!! I left, will shop elsewhere!!
