Pensacola Bay Brewery is one of the early resurgent breweries in Pensacola. It has become a fixture of the Pensacola Downtown Historic District located in the historic McCullough building next to Seville Square Park. Always serves a consistent, quality product and delivers to many of the local restaurants.
First time being here after trying many of their beers elsewhere. Highly recommend. Large selection of beers, great bartender and a nice outdoor patio area to sit and drink. Ample parking around it as well. Did I mention the beers are great too?!!
The setting is very simple and comfortable, old Florida feeling. Beer is good at decent prices, best brewery in Pensacola.
Choices. As the oldest legit brewery in town i had to go. The oldest tag is claimed by a tourist trap restaurant, not my style. This is a small brewery with big choices.Great spot, parking, nice historic area and easy to get to. Theres covered outdoor seats, and umbrella shaded outdoor seats. The interior has plenty of tables and a smallish bar. Good vibe. Piped in tunes were good, chill lax my friends. The menu covers the gamut. At this time all beers were 5.50. Reasonable. I went dunkel, then tasted the premium lager and closed out with a kolsch. Solid. Theres IPAs, porters, weiss, you do you. Order food, bring food.Id be a regular..
Impressed by the variety of beers offered here. The Riptide Red is great, but everything I tried was very good too. The bartender even concocted a mixture of two beers that was incredible! I definitely recommend visiting Pensacola Bay Brewery, and its worth the short walk from Palafox.
I’ve been to brewery’s just about anywhere I travel and this is hands down my favorite brewery. And it’s where I live! The crowd here is usually very friendly and I enjoy chewing the cud with them. They have a great selection of beers and should just about accommodate for anyone. They also have a little wine selection for those who aren’t into micro brews. I suggest the Blackbeard Stout or the Riptide. Both are my favorites. The small and large growlers are an amazing deal for those who like to indulge at home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED brewery.
My husband and I just got married last Saturday and we got our keg from Pensacola Bay Brewery which we were really excited about until after the ceremony when we went to tap the keg and it wouldn’t work. We tried multiple times but it was just completely jammed for some reason. When we went to return the keg and discuss a refund or credit or even an exchange, the man behind the desk informed us he has NO record of us getting the keg and said for us to just give him the keg and tap back and he’ll call. With no record on their end we felt better holding onto the keg that was COMPLETELY full of beer at this point to ensure that we had our own record of having it since they have nothing on their end. We told him we would look up the bank statement as well from the $200 deposit we left. He then proceeded to say “Well, I won’t be able to do anything until my boss is done on the golf course, we don’t interrupt his golfing.” I don’t understand why you have a business that you don’t want to run during business hours or have another employee that can handle things when you aren’t present. Very upset with their customer service/lack of customer service. We won’t be using them again.
Stopped into Pensacola Bay Brewery while traveling through the area. This place was packed for a Sunday afternoon and its in a really cool historical area. I had the Fish House Fish Head Red, Red Ale. The beer was pretty good. What I was not a fan of, was that they said they were cash only, so after getting cash out of the ATM and paying fees the beer cost me about 9 bucks which in this day and age theres no reason not to be able to accept card payment. I dont think if I was traveling in the area I would stop in again. Cheers!
Great place! Great beer! Great music! Will definitely be returning! Fun!
Friendly staff, plenty of outdoor seating! Just had time to grab beer to go but the bartender offered samples to help me choose. Amber and IPA were both delicious!
On our Texas to Florida Brewery Road Trip, our favorite stop so far!! 2 flights and loved evert one of them!!
The outdoor seating is well spaced out and the outside railing doubles as standing space. We got there just before the lunch rush for beer. They had plenty of options for beer. There were maybe 20+ options?
Dog friendly brewery with great beers.
Fun spot! Great beer! Friendly folks! And they all love them Zephyr!
Great spot! Great beer and great service!
Very good beer. Nice patio area. Small tasting room. Friendly staff.
I dont drink beer any more, GF. But hubby does. They did have a cider on draft but I wasnt interested. He had the DBL IPA and said it was good, not too hoppy. Slightly malty.Great patio and ambiance. It was a beautiful day on the patio. Children playing across the st on the playground. Perfect for a beer.
The beer here is amazing. I like going on a Tuesday and Clint will help you find your new favorite beer!! I also like that I can have my favorite beer in a keg. If youre going downtown for a beer this is the place to start.
Great brews and very good staff. Special shout out to my birthday sister behind the bar!
Good selection, easy menu and good atmosphere.
Great local brewery. Great selection of beer. Friendly staff!
Love the drinks here. We go all the time.
Great service, great beer and friendly staff.
Great prices. Amazing staff. Delicious and consistent beers brewed locally. Couldnt ask for more.
A brewery thats not trying to be anything but that. Great beer but smaller space. Worth a walk if youre staying downtown.
Good beer and nice atmosphere.
Excellent beer. Very nice staff. Wonderful place to stop for a beer.
It was home away from home! Good beer I will recommend this to anyone coming threw Pensacola
I dont drink. But, I review breweries because I travel with a boozer who never met a craft beer she didnt like. We came to this one while in Pensacola. It is in the very charming part of downtown and a very nice space - lots of free street parking. Theres plenty of outdoor seating - very nice - but, it was cold so we sat inside. The bartender was exceptionally nice. My friend got a flight, and liked every beer she had - price was reasonable. This inside is super nice - the tables are cool and it was a relaxed, clean place where it seemed that everyone was having a good time. I may not drink, but I like attention to detail and I loved this place. They also sell cigars. All good! My boozer-bud was very happy!
Beautiful place, great staff, and excellent beer.
Love this place! Good beer and a great place to hang out.
Love this place
Great service, amazing choice of beers
Great beer. Sit outside and enjoy the perfect weather.
Great beer but what made it amazing was the really friendly staff. They gave some good recommendations of other places to visit and were just super friendly. One thing to note is it is cash only and doesnt serve food but totally worth visiting just for the beer!
Love this place. Its my first stop every time I go downtown.
Love this place! Great beer and a great crowd :-)
Excellent double IPA.
Such a friendly place! This will be our weekly brew trip!
Delish. Nice atmosphere.
Loved the peach cider
Best breweries IIn Pensacola
Fun environment, the regulars seem like quite the cutups. Beer was really great. I got a flight and had to follow up with a pint of the one I liked the most. Being in the historic district of Pensacola is pretty awesome. Theyre starting to distribute more, so definitely be on the lookout!
This place was suggested by my friend that was about to pick up from the airport. I got there and Clint greeted my friend and I. I was torn between the porter and the stout, so I asked him to choose one for me or I would sit and ponder for 20 min trying to make up my mind. He choose the porter :) very delicious!! We were hungry and asked him for a local hole in the wall and he suggested across the way to hub stacey’s!! Thank u Clint for the suggestion and ur service!!
Carry, Taylor, Sarah and Deanna make your experience fabulous! Excellent choice of beer for everyone regardless of your taste. Carry also keeps an assortment of wines for those non beer drinkers In your party. Best brewers in Pensacola! A Must visit for locals and tourists.
Great beer selection and regular price is $5.50 a pint as of Feb 2020, $4 on Tuesdays!
Soooooo good!! Great place for a pint!
Small place but comfortable. Offer a lot of options. They few I tried were good. Cash only and nice outdoor patio.
Great place to have a beer during covid-19 crisis.
A slice of heaven during this pandemic!
Delicious brews on a cozy patio in the historic district!
Not a big beer drinker, but when I hang out at the Pensacola Bay Brewery I LOVE the pear cider! I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere.
This place could be so much more, but because stupid people run it, it is nothing but a warm flat draft in a dirty pint glass served by a surly bartender. To start with they dont take credit cards which right off the bat is a red flag. So then you are reduced to having to pay a whopping 5.00 in fees to withdraw $20.00 on their tacky in-house ATM.The first thing you notice when you sit down is how uncomfortably hot it is inside. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the owner is too cheap to buy the hydraulic thing that closes the front door behind you once it is opened so that the door remains open when patrons walk in. I literally had to keep getting up from my barstool to close the front entrance door. No food which I know it isnt a restaurant but a frozen pizza and wings wouldnt kill them and increase their revenue. Patrons spend more at liquor and beer/wine establishments that offer some food. Even a cheese tray would help.So after all this you would think at the end of the day you could get a cold beer in a clean glass. Wrong again! It was like drinking a bucket of piss in a warm dirty pint glass. Its a shame because they actually do make good craft beer. But this is just one mans opinion.
Great outdoor seating. This is a great place to chat. People tend to bring their dogs to their tables outside. The cutest.
Huge beer selection and the owner is one awesome dude! Definitely recommend visiting this wonderful brewery if you are in the Pensacola area
Great beers and great bar tender.
I went here for the beer, not clean glasses or the stupid front door, or the bugs. It is a beer oasis in what would otherwise be described as a beer desert, or beer butthole. The brew was delicious, the price was cheap AF, the crowd was present but not overwhelming. Come here if you are from any other diverse part of the States where “both kinds of beer: Bud light and Miller light” would be a disgusting response.
Good brewery, but several small issues take off a star. Glasses werent clean, front door doesnt close on its own and has to be shut by other patrons, yellow jackets on the front porch, they dont take cards, and they need more seating. The good: beer is tasty, decent prices, and a charming spot.
PBB has a great-tasting selection of beers. I would highly recommend the Riptide Amber Ale!
Fantastic local brewery! Its great to have a local craft beer brewery in this city! In love with their new citrus beer made from the oranges of Seville Square.
Had a tasty flight of beers. Great brews for great prices. Nice people. Relaxed atmosphere.
Great spot, retro tour discount on pints. The beer was awesome as was the server! A local gem, do not miss this on your visit!
Thank you for the great service and great beer. Try them out if you are in the area. Such a great local atmosphere.
Awesome atmosphere, very good beer, wish I could of tried more but I had to drive. Will be back there before I leave.
Great stout and friendly bar staff.
Love the beer and the people who serve it!!
Always a good time when we go there always meet old & new friends. Carey is the best!
The best beer in town. Especially the Lighthouse Porter!
Second best brewery in town. Great place to relax with people and pups.
Was here 7?years ago and love what you have done with the place. Octoberfest beer was excellent. Will be back maybe move here!!!!
Entered this dark, dreary establishment that smelled like old beer last Sunday hoping to watch the game. Standing there were 3 older guys at the bar. Wanted to bring my German Shepherd in, but they all said NO! Told me I had to drink out in the patio in front. HELLO....there was no tv out there! Thank you for nothing Pensacola Bay Brewery!
Friendly place, great selection, had been to the Saenger walked over met some nice folks, great barman, well definitely be back!
Have loved the beer from this brewery for years. They have an excellent tap room and patio area.
Solid beer and a good price
Great beer. Great price. Cash only.
Big Napoleon is amazing. If it were in a bomber out of the area you would pay high dollar, and it would still be worth it. So good.
Cool staff! good beer! Good prices!
This was a fantastic way to make the most of our rainy vacation. It rained the entire time during our getaway to perdido key! PBB was the perfect way to meet some locals, try some new stuff and enjoy how the locals live!Beautiful views of a renovated church, we enjoyed their house specials and their wine was fantastic. Truly enjoyed our evening with PBB! Worth the stop if youre into breweries.
Great beer selection, couldnt get enough of the IPAs they had on tap. After struggling to find craft beer around Perdido Key this was a great place to sit and relax, outdoor space was awesome. Even better than the beer was the locals we met and chatted with, such a welcoming experience.
Awesome place good beer and dog friendly
Two flights, great selection of beer, free WiFi and fresh water for the pup. Nothing to complain about.
