After a horrible experience with Northwest Florida Outboard Service attempting to have an old Johnson 70 rebuilt I decided to just do a complete repower with a Yamaha 70 and I had visited Posner Marine and spoke to Sharon a few weeks before and was impressed and thankful for her to the point, upfront, honest and professional attitude. The amazing part to this is after 10 weeks of heartache with NWFOS, Posner had my boat repowered and back to me in 3 days...... 3 DAYS ! The entire staff at Posner is super cool, they tell you what you need to know, not what you want to hear, do what they say when they say they will do it and if there is a hiccup they keep you in the loop, what more could you ask for !Just Go To Posner and avoid brain damage....Thank you Posner, your my guys...LOL
Posner Marine was great. Brought my boat in with multiple issues and they knocked all of them out and were great to work with. Had an issue when i put it in the water after getting it fixed and Andrew/Jeff had it back up and running the next day. Couldnt recommend this place enough! Will always be back for my boat needs. Thank you Posner!
Been going to Posner ever since I got my boat which has a smaller 2 stroke. These guys are great with carrying those parts you dont find in the bigger stores, like west marine. There shipping was fast ordered before the Weeknd got it by Tuesday. The customer service there is awesome and will come back again! Thanks Posner!
This place is great and their prices aren’t bad either. They have always had everything that I needed and their customer service is top notch.
Knowledge, customer service and a family feeling just upon entry. If they can tolerate me they deserve everyones business. Thanks
Complete marine parts dealer.Entire staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. A quality marine mechanic is priceless.I live over a hour away and have had many years of great service.By far the best shop in northwest florida.
Really nice folks and had what I needed
Not only was Posner Marine on top of my parts problem, they’re genuine caring people. Made me feel as though we’ve known each other for years!
I went to a few marine dealers today to discuss a possible repower of my outboard engine. The ladies in the shop were super nice, patient and professional and although I have not decided on a rebuild vs a repower I will defiantly do business with them in the future.
Great store, good prices, patient workers that will provide expert advice to the novice boater. Went to many stores and a couple dealers looking for a hard to find propeller, with no luck. At one Dealers parts department, they admitted they didnt know have e the part nor how to order it, but in a shushed whisper, try Posners. Thus, I made my first intro trip to Posners. What a great shop.On another trip, I had a troublesome warning alarm on my honda outboard. Troubleshooting revealed a 25 code...and online search referred me to the honda service manual. Posners didnt have a manual for sale..but Megan spent 10 mins with me letting me use the stores manual. It is no wonder that the NAS Pensacol trusts Posners to maintain its MWR fleet of recreation boats.Another reviewer called this place trashy.....no way...Posners is a cool shop (see the attached pics). But is it a working, functioning boat shop...with antique engines and boat parts decorating the ceiling and walls. Definitely not sparkly or chic as a new boat dealership showroom, but extremely cool and not trashy.
Great place with a very knowledgeable manager. They always have the part I need and are glad to give you a printed schematic. When it comes to Yamaha outboards this is the place to be.
Great service and pricing. Highly recommend.
I came in there to pick up some parts that I ordered a couple of weeks ago and parts department personnel were very helpful.
I bought a Honda 2.3 3 years ago. It burned up twice under warrantee. They still have it. I needed a motor so I bought a 2 hp Tohatsu. After 8 months and horrible starting, I asked Posner to replace the carburetor. That was 8-8-20. Its now 12-22-20. Still to motor. I bought 2 motors from Posner Marine. I brought both motors back to them them for repair. One over two years ago, the current one 4 months since they have had it.If you want service, do not trust Posner Marine with your motor. They do not honor their part of the dealers warrantee. They should loose their dealerships.Martin GoodmanPensacola
Its in a good location, the Staff here are friendly and helpful.
I took my engine in for a repair, after a couple weeks unable to diagnose the issue, I had to insist they check with the manufacturer. The manufacturer confirmed it was an issue under warranty. After another 3 months of multiple un returned phone calls, multiple visits in person attempting to get updates, and my engine sitting un touched for weeks at a time, I received my boat back having been “fixed”. After about 10 hours on the water one of the transom mount bolts fell out... yes fell out. They reinstalled the motor on the transom with the wrong sized bolts and regular nuts that can be loosened with bare hands. I could have lost my engine in Escambia Bay.
We bought a boat from them back in April; it was supposed to be ready for pick up at the beginning of May. When we called to see if we could pick it up in May, we were told the trailer wasn’t at the store yet because of the wildfires that were blocking I-10; that was understandable to me at the time. Now I’ve just realized they have one excuse after the other in order to “cover” for their neglect and disregard and slack customer service. We’ve called multiple times asking about certain paperwork/documents, only to be put on hold then disconnected. Megan seems to forget or not pass on messages to Sharon. We’ve gotten used to knowing that we’ll have to call back some other time to speak to Sharon if Megan picks up the phone.I wish we never bought our boat from Posner. Absolutely horrible service and communication.
Only place with knowledgeable service people to fix the problem
Mrs Sharon,Jeff and Meagan are very knowledgeable and helpful when needing parts. Highly recommended

Very knowledgeable and helpful with my challenge to find Yamaha key with the code partially chaffed away on the ignition switch.
Super helpful, not pushy sales staff. Great prices
Always great service.
They were very helpful, knowledgeable for what I needed.. great place to get bulk oil for your boat engines
A great place for boat sales and service. We got our outboard there and have been very happy with the outboard and the service!
Had our boat as Posner for 3 months. Had the wiring harness changed on an inboard/outboard, but didnt fix running issues. They tried to charge us 24 hrs to trouble shoot, but never solved the issue. They ordered a ecm w/o our approval($1700). Found out they did not have the diagnostic tool even though theyre certified to work on the engine. So the ecm problem was a guess.
New engines dyno. at almost 800 hp. Each 87 knots in my 34 Chris craft.
Good parts place for evinrude engine
They do great work, always helpful and knowledgeable about boats and motors. Highly recommended.
Very informative with problems over the last 20 years.

Great place for services on boats & parts & supplies!
Only thing I dont like is how busy they are, pretty much speaks for itself!
Place has parts when others dont stock them. Its my go to place from now on!
24 hrs now and can’t return a call to someone in the market for a new boat motor. Must not need the business.
They have a great stock ofparts for boat motors
Knowledgeable, professional cant say enough good things about this company my go to place for parts
All I can say is stay away.......unless you dont mind being given the run around & having problems................They take on way to much & dont have the room to work. I have never seen a place that operated that way. I will not go back.
