Hours after Hurricane Sally had hit Pensacola with everything it had the Beacon opened up to provide what they had in stock to the community. It was the only store open in Myrtle Grove that morning and although they went up on cigarette prices and and alcohol their drinks and other items were still the same price. Amidst the destruction people came together at the store and checked on one another and just were happy to have made it through. Thank you for supporting our community.
