Man ohh man did I luck out with Nick being in my general area. I move a lot, I have a bunch of amps, several of which have either had little issues or just developed issues since my last move. Tube amps can be finicky, comes with the territory. Nick is getting me sorted out and up and running again piece by piece.Even at more than an hour drive away from me it’s still a bargain to be able to take your gear to someone that actually knows what they are doing and can deliver the goods. I’ve gone to techs over the years that flat out don’t like what they do, have no idea how to do what they do, all the horror stories.You can tell Nick enjoys his craft and has pride in his work. His prices are fair and his turn around is great. No hesitation is taking my stuff to him. My only concern is that in another year I’ll have to move again and won’t be within driving distance anymore.If you have high powered things that make loud that aren’t making loud at the moment, Nick can get you fixed up.

When you enjoy what you do your always gonna better at it ! Nick enjoys repairing and modifying and even building amps and it shows !

Nick is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He always works with me to help find the sound that Im looking for and a good price. Fretgood is the only place that I let touch my amps and guitars. Highly recommended!
