This is the ultimate in a keepsake. They take a photo or scanned image of a person or animal and either lazer etch it into a resin or create a 3d full body plastic figurine of up to four people. The wait time is quite a bit (2-4 weeks in some cases) but the results are amazing. This is something that is very beautiful and personalized.
