Really rude. I’ve worked at Ulta for over two years and usually run my errands in this area of a different one since I’ve moved. Was EXCHANGING a product for my mother (who is the type to not give out her number to ANYWHERE), and was refused since I did not have the receipt & she hadn’t made an account. Keep in mind I’m also simply exchanging for the same exact product because my mom’s didn’t even work in the first place!!! (Which is probably due to poor shipping & packaging - but that’s a whole other story) So having worked for the company for a very long time, I know the policy very well I’d say. As a company, Ulta cannot force you to make an account. Now, as customers, I’m fairly certain that there’s going to be many of you who have probably been in my position & never had any trouble with doing so - especially when it’s the same exact product and yours was defective to begin with. I personally felt extremely discriminated against, as the manager had originally just completely walked passed me when the associate had just asked her for help for me. She was extremely snarky and talked down to me as if I was a child, enunciating her words and speaking slowly. Very unprofessional for a manger and also very mean. Even talking down to her employees right in front of customers. The fact is - it was literally a can of an $8 defective hairspray - no Ultas policy doesn’t go that in depth that she couldn’t have swapped it for a working one - and some people are just mean and shouldn’t be managers.

The absolute worst experience I have had at a hair salon in my life. Stylist was Abby. I asked for all over dusty pink, received partial highlights that are uneven and washed out completely after one application of shampoo. I asked for 5-6 inches cut off, she refused and did 3 as she said I would regret it, and the cut is the most blunt, uneven cut I have ever received; it looks like a toddler got to my head with play scissors. I was horrendously overcharged. I paid more for the worst experience in my life than I ever have at superior salons with amazing results. I spent 5 hours getting this abomination done to my hair. This was for my 30th birthday and it was extremely important to me that I got something beautiful. This made me self-conscious and embarrassed on an important day. I am still waiting for someone to contact me to make this right, but as far as I am concerned no one should ever come to this salon. This traumatized me for hair services from anyone in the future. I have never had my hair destroyed like this to the point where it made me embarrassed to be seen. I am so upset. To top all this off, the salon was filthy. She did my hair in a back room with junk everywhere and it felt disgusting. Please save yourself the pain and go elsewhere to get your hair done.
I love this location! I had a salon appointment for a cut and gloss wanted a new look for summer. My hair stylist Shelby was so friendly and nice. She did an amazing job, love my cut and color. Thank you!
Love the products, sales were decent, however every time I turned around there were staff members trying to assist me. Normally, assistance is welcomed, however, in this case, it felt like high pressured sales. The line at the register was outrageous as well.
Called around 4:50 pm on 10-14-21 they first put me on hold to find my item left me on hold for 15 minutes and still didn’t get back to me. I called back again and talked to Jesse and she told me she was to busy to find my item because there unstaffed and for me to go online and look because she is under staffed she didn’t even ask what item I was looking for until after she told me to look online and then when I told her what item I’m looking for she’s like yeah our store doesn’t carry that. It was poor customer service and it wasted my time. I don’t appreciate her being disrespectful and I hope there are consequences for her actions.
I love this store! Kim at this location was really helpful and kind. She was working at the front of the store and helped me check-out at the register (just in case there are multiple Kim’s there LOL)She was very friendly and I had a great experience because of her kindness. True kindness isn’t always seen in customer service, so her genuine spirit meant the world to me. I will be happy to shop there again.
Spent $425 worth of points earned on Ulta credit card....nice!
Patrice with the Benefit Brow Bar is absolutely amazing. She has gotten my brows perfect two times in a row. She is so kind and listens to what you want. She truly makes me feel like a valued guest at this Ulta.
Good selection of products. Had some questions, but never could find staff to ask. Check out line was 14 deep and only two checkers. Spent more time juggling my items for purchase than shopping.

While I really like the variety of this stores merchandise; the tantalizing displays; and helpful staff; I recently purchased a product (neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel) but found the same product at CVS days later for $4.00 less! If I hadnt already tossed the package I would have returned it and re-purchased at CVS.
I love Ulta, I usually find everything I need quick and the lady’s are always so helpful and nice will definitely be coming back here.
Ive been getting my hair done at this Ulta for about a year now and there arent enough good things I can say about the staff in this salon. I usually get my hair done by Emily who is AMAZING! She is very kind and always makes me laugh during my visit. I have the best time with her. Abby is also just as amazing and is the salon manager; she is very professional and seriously cracks me up! She is also amazing with color like Emily. You cant go wrong with getting your hair done with either of these ladies, they are absolutely amazing and totally know what theyre doing. I dont plan on going anywhere else in the near future!
I LOVE Ulta! I get all my make-up and hair needs here and I get my hair done by Veronica at the Ulta on 7665 W. Bell Rd., and she is the absolute BEST! She listens to what I want and perfects it better than I imagined it, every time. Shes not your typical stylist. She is smart, witty, creative and super sweet! She also does my oldest daughters hair. I highly recommend going booking an appointment with Veronica next time you need your hair done! The first 2 pictures are of me from the last visit, the 3rd and 4th pictures of me are from prior visits. Christian is also very good, he does my youngest daughters hair (the last 2 pictures). Youll be laughing the entire time.
I have bought some products online because the store did not have in stock, so as I needed them, I paid PREMIUM shipping. The purchase is made on a Thursday, today is Monday of the following week and I can see my order that is ready to be picked up by the shipping service, sleeping in the store. SO DEAR CUSTOMERS DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY BY RUSHING THE DELIVERY! IT IS SPENDING MONEY IN VAIN.

This is a very nice Ulta. Its neat and organized, and the staff was nice, friendly and professional. They were also cautious because of co-vid19. So signs were up not to test products. This is the Ulta I will be going to when I dont want to wait for products to come in the mail.
I made an appointment last week to have my hair done for today at 6pm with Brianna Hoyt. I replied with the text confirmation after making my appointment and I called and confirmed my appointment after missing a call from Ulta on Thursday. Today at 4:20pm, I was called by Sam to tell me Brianna could not do my hair. No explanation as to why and when asked if I wanted to reschedule the closest that worked with my and her availability was March 13th.I am not the reason the appt was rescheduled, Brianna was so it seems Brianna should be the flexible one here. Nor did Sam offer for me to see someone else. I was not even asked WHY I needed the appointment. And thankfully I did not have an important event tonight but I can say that I was excited to get my hair done and this ruined my day.I happen to be a woman of color with ethnic hair who cannot just walk into any salon and get my hair done. Brianna has done my hair in the past and done a great job which is why I chose her for the appointment. I trust her and make the drive to see her.I am disappointed in the lack of customer service other than stating it was cancelled without a reason, can’t reschedule until the 13th and no offer for someone else to see me. I am starting to wonder if it was because I was the last appointment of the day and she just didn’t want to do my hair.Gravely disappointed.

Got my hair done today by Stylist Brianna .She was super sweet and professional... I didn’t tell her but every time I have ever went to a salon I end up leaving in tears cause I feel so uncomfortable and my hair always ends up a disaster .. I have awful social anxiety especially when it comes to my appearance cause I’m not the most confident. But she made me feel and look pretty which was nice.Also even though I told Brianna I used box color ( I knew better ) she didn’t make me feel bad about it. Which was a good experience usually After I tell a stylist I used garbage on my hair I get a dirty look and the rest of the service is super awkward.The color was beautiful and ended up matching my hair extensions perfectly when I got home.And for the haircut, I was most worried about having scissors near my hair.... but it ended up being really cute and manageable for me. Overall I’m super satisfied she was great and we got to talk about our cats and other creatures which was great cause I’m always up for talking about my furr kids ! Thanks Brianna I will be back !!!
Had almost all my needed items today - stock slowly coming in.
Went in for a eyeshadow pallette. Any one that jumped at me. But they had very limited options. I asked I gentleman who worked there if there was any morphe pallettes in the back and it was the unfriendlyest no. Which was fine I still found a nice pallette after spending 2x the price I wanted because there were really no options available. But still had a ding in the green pan when I got home. And I live 100 miles away. Kinda upsetting to think someone may have opened it..
JOY IS AMAZING!! She spent an hour with me and made sure I got everything I need it! She was very knowledgeable and I loved how she was explaining everything to me! Thank you so much for being so wonderful and amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Curbside pick up went great. My order was ready about 5 minutes after I placed it. I’m so glad they’re doing curbside so I can get my make up the day of instead of waiting for a package to arrive! Can’t wait to be able to go back inside and browse around 🤩
Gave my pick-up order to someone else, and was told my order had been picked up when I hadnt arrived to the store yet. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful in resolving the issue.

This location is extremely busy and it seems that the employees do not know how to handle the amount of customers that come into the store on a regular basis. Youll be waiting in line for more than 10 minutes to make your purchase.

The customer service is always really good here. I’ve never had a problem with rude employees. It is always really busy, & a lot of stuff is not in stock... but what do you expect from a busy store?
I go to get my brows done. I absolutely love Patrice she is kind caring and really listens to you. The other ladies in the store are quick to help when needing assistance with finding the right product for you.

I had been to the Ulta on Bell Rd in Surprise 3-4 months ago and had my haircut. The stylist at that location DESTROYED my hair. Ive been majorly self-conscious with how short it was cut with so many crazy layers. I had asked for a lob and left with a short mullet. So Ive waited several months to let it grow and went into this Ulta location. Dolores was my stylist. I moved to Arizona 4 years ago and she has been the first stylist to actually listen to my concerns and what I am looking for. I am grateful I decided to give this location a try even though the other Ulta location almost turned me off to all Ultas. I will be a repeated client! Ive FINALLY found my stylist! Thank you so much Dolores!!!

Jenny in the style salon is so nice and professional, she really understands my hair issues and concerns,as well as desires. She is a great help recommending products not just for sales, but that actually are right for me. But everyone is friendly and helpful.
Love them but they get quite crowded, finding help can be impossible.
Nice store but fairly busy. Associates were nice at checkout but they didnt have anyone on the floor to ask questions to when I needed assistance. Wish they carried Juvias Place palettes here.
I used to shop from Ulta, but last time I went to the Arrowhead location and a very nice lady helped me out, her name is Chelse, I would thank her for being such a nice helpful person and I would write this because Chelses recommendation made me happy, she recommended me for a couple of products, just like she is picking for her own self, regardless of the price of the products. Seriously couldn’t say enough great things about my experience at the salon with Abby. She took the time and patience to fix my DISASTER of a hair color going from box black color to as close to blonde as possible and didn’t overcharge me! Seriously she worked a miracle !!!

Rude employees. Lists products as in-stock on website, but when arriving to store they do not have the product in-stock. Had the nerve to tell me I need my ID for a pick-up order when they gave my order to somebody else by accident during my last visit. Worst Ulta location.
My hair was a bleach destroyed MESS! I got to talking with Karen and she made some recommendations for services she could provide to help my hair. She delivered! My hair is gorgeous and I’ve gotten so many compliments!! Thank you for saving my hair!!!!
I had a good experience here. And they have trendy gay guys work here. But the reviews for this place are frightening! I was looking for a specific product and they didnt carry it. Two employees helped me look through the whole store and helped me decide on a similar product. They were super helpful. Even the cashier was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my shopping experience here.
Long checkout lines. The line is awkwardly placed, as it goes down the aisle a bit and its normally always like that. Other than that, I like this place.

The store employee named dusty( she called herself the “manager” lol) was very unfriendly and nervous acting because I guessed I asked one too many questions in the two minutes she spoke with me and walked off in mid sentence when I was asking her about something being back in stock and she said she did it on purpose because closing time was in 15 minutes and that was more important to be telling the others to finish up then it was to spend ten more seconds telling me the answer ?!?!? I will be calling the corporate customer service tomorrow to say the least AVOID AVOID AVOID

My hair stylest was fine everything came out ok i love the work my stylest does on me everytime and have nothing against her or any of the other staff how ever it says on the website That the Stylest are only using every other station to keep social distancing and that thay Sanitize frequently When I showed up to my appointment every single station was being used by the stylus there was A client in every chair no gap in between stylus useing stations like it says on the website And my Styles was just finishing up someone when I came in Also many of the Stylist most if not all was not using gloves and i had to tell my stylest to Santize Her tools after she had just got done whit a client and was about to use the same tools on me I was kind of disappointed in that as I only made the appointment Because of the safety measures that they said and claimed that they have been doing online thay are santizeing and stuff but i wouldnt say to the extent thay claim on there site and i would not say thay are keeping up whit there social distancing as thay claim I really think that the manager of the store should really be reinforcing the guidelines that they have posted on their website as I do not believe that they are following to them to best of their capabilities

Most product was out of stock. They close at 9pm but turned off the music and lights around 8:30. Employees up at the register were talking about how they wanted to go out after work and they wished that they closed earlier, all within ear shot of multiple customers. I’m giving it two stars because it’s ulta and the reward program is great and the store itself was pretty clean, but maybe get some employees who are happy to be at work or at least understand when it’s appropriate to talk about certain topics. No one likes closing shifts and as someone who works in retail I get it, but wait until you’re actually closed to turn the lights and music off so your customers don’t feel unwelcome.
Apparently I have two reward accounts, my birthday was the 5th. I tried to redeem my free gift, Chelsea was less than pleasant. She didn’t want to use the account that had the gift, when I showed her my coupon she immediately said the page wasn’t loading & she didn’t have time to wait. I would have to call the customer service to merge account & get a gift next year. Poor customer service.

This is specifically for their Salon. I was able to get an appointment really quickly. I scheduled an appointment 20 mins out with Shelby. I have curly hair that is notoriously unruly and I haven’t cut it in over a year. Shelby was bubbly and had a joyous personality. She also did a great job on my hair! She listened to me, she checked all the products she used in my hair (I’m sulfate, alcohol, and silicone free). She gave me a great cut, and consulted another curly girl stylist as well for extra measure. I usually hate going to get my hair cut because it’s hard to find someone who will actually listen, but this was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had!
This is place is as bad as the one on 91st Ave. & Northern. I would give it a ZERO star! Bunch of useless, idiotic people in this location! The workers don’t bother to help u UNLESS u look like a rich person. Not to mention that they don’t even greet u unless you’re the fancy type of person. And if they DO help u, they just say they don’t have it. The workers don’t even bother to help u look for the item. THEY’RE AS FAKE AS THEIR UGLY, HEAVY MAKEUP!
I prefer this one instead of the one near 91st ave and northern. The lady today was extremely helpful with my return, but she also took the time, while doing the returns, to answer my questions about foundations. She did give me a few ideas of what I should try out, I know she couldnt take me back to them since she was at the register. She did tell me about their event going on, and helped me get signed up for it.

Came in on Thursday August 1st around 4:25 pm, No one greeted me, so I headed back towards the make-up. Made eye contact with 4 different girls working, Not one girl said“ Hi, Anything I can help you with “I proceed to put $375 of products I wanted, on my face, but in the 45 minutes I was doing make-up, walking around to find the right colors, not a single one of those employees offered to help, they where actually trying on the products of another brand about 15 feet away from me and watched me but never once asked if I needed help or to color match me or offer skin care tips ..... one employee even tried 3 different lip sticks and checked herself In the mirror right . Next. To . Me ..... I was going to talk to the manger privately but at the register but they had 2 cashiers, 1 who wasn’t able to finish a return without a manger which wasn’t available, and the other was calling another store about a product another customer wanted and 4 people in line waiting .....See I haven’t been out of the house for myself in over 3 months, I’m always doing for others and running a Nonprofit company but today I finally was able to get some extra time and extra money to spend on ME ! Like finally some me time, but I guess customer service and basic employee friendliness has been tossed in the trash .... thanks for reminding me why so many people shop online and put people out of jobs, because you shouldn’t get paid to talk about your personal life and try on lipstick ...with a customer 15 feet away, who you haven’t even greeted, but the other 2 older women who came in 5 minutes before I was done ...they where greeted and helped pick the right products, I love how you helped them, was their something wrong with my face or skin color ? Or are you always this rude and we just haven’t noticed ....
I have an amazing time here. Caitlin was super helpful and kind and made my experience so much more fun. If anyone deserves a props its her.there was excellent service an attitude and I will defiantly come back because of her!
They ruined my hair it came out orange. when I received my refund the manager stated sorry, that was her “top stylist”... safe to say anywhere is better then this place.
Veronica in the salon is seriously amazing. She saved my hair from a horrendously bad bleach job done months ago and made my hair look so sexy and beautiful! I finally have my confidence back after months of battling gross, fried hair. She is professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun! I went into my appointment almost in tears of frustration and she had a game plan that totally changed my life. Thank you so much!!!! 😘😘😘
Very helpful and friendly staff! Drawback is, Prices are about the same of any other major chain stores. So I will shop around next time to compare prices or wait for a sale. They do offer a ulta card which seems to have so so perks. I would still buy from here again just because of their friendly and helpful staff.

Ive been checking if this location has restocked Kylie products and every time I come in I get harassed by your associates. Their aggressive and say what are you looking for how about say hello offer your assistance and go away how about you have more people on registers as well I come in to look around for what I want. If youre reason for this is theft related have loss prevention there. Dont target people of color! As soon as i walk in I get hassled like good grief so disappointing.

They have a lot of cool make-up, but its expensive. I have had my hair done there and it was horrible even a blow out. I had to finish the blow drying. The one AMAZING person there is Patrice. She does my eyebrows and does them well! She aims to please and Ulta should be appreciative to have her. You ROCK PATRICE!

Had a job interview here and was mortified by how messy and unprofessional this location was. During my interview a pregnant employee was outside the doorway (no door/ privacy for my interview) crying. Then the manager asked me some questions and another employee outside jumped in and answered them before I could. Like I said.. no privacy. Yikes. No thanks.
I went in during Ultas 21 days of beauty. The place was so packed. I was able to locate an employee to help me find a product. There was not so much variety as I went late in the evening. I would recommend going in earlier to ensure stock in hand.

Ulta Beauty is the place to go for any beauty product that really work for what is intended theyre worthy the price the only thing i have a complaint is the price for the mens cologne to price i bought a Fahrenheit cologne for $30 in Ross and i saw the same one in Ulta beauty for $95 way high other than that the employees there are so kind and attentive that make you feel at home keep up the good work.And i want to give kudos to Lindsey
The manager was assisting someone already and she insured me she will get back to me, which I patiently waited for and she was great because the customers needed more of her time but she didnt forget about me which I truly appreciate the great service and her pleasant smile. She had a rep come to me and introduce me to *Taylor* so happy they did, her service and attentiveness to my wants and needs were more then what a customer could ask for. *Taylor* understood and didnt just sell products she introduced me to the products and by this Im new to the game of wearing makeup so I felt at ease. I highly recommend *Taylor* to all she gives you true honesty and her knowledge of the products shows in her work and its amazing even my husband was very please to see me smile with tears of happiness. Thank you *Taylor* for making me look like me and making me feel real goo about it, youre an amazing person!! Also want to add that *Philip* was very welcoming with his spunk service and gorgeous makeup designs he had, even at a moment of his time I took away from his customers tomer prior to my sitting he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I prefer to travel from Surprise to go to this location for the simple fact that the staff are a million times friendlier and helpful at this location. I dont know his name, but the gentleman at the register is so sweet and helpful with his positive attitude.....and always looking beautiful with his make-up skills.
2 years ago, this place was great. I think a lobotomy is part of the standard training now. Can’t even return a gift my wife got for Christmas that was bought online and picked up at this location. Apparently the email receipt “isn’t a receipt” and the email address it was sent to “has never made a purchase”. Even the phone number/zip of the purchaser don’t pull anything up. So what’d they do? Offered me $2.49 when the “not a receipt” shows that $16.22 was paid. Calling corporate tomorrow. Maybe someone actually interested in customer service works there. Tried twice at the store but the blank stares creep me out too much to try a third time.
