We have been using these sensors in our office for years, and they have been great! The biggest selling point was the price- the cost of other sensors is astronomical in comparison, without a significant difference in quality. There are perfect for diagnosis for us. We have been very happy with them, and have not had a single problem in the five years we have had them so far.

I was shopping for a spare dental sensor and I came across apex and masterlink. I purchased the apex sensor and was thrilled that the image quality was better than my old sensor. The price was very affordable. Customer service was terrific as they helped me with the installation and it went seamlessly. I will definitely buy from masterlink again.

You know the age old saying that goes :I am not rich enough to buy cheap stuff? Well that is exactly how I feel about this product. After 3 online help sessions with their support techs, I still cannot get clear and crisp images like the ones I got with my 8 year old XDR sensor.It is either under or over exposed. There is no way to find a good balance. I have been using digital over a decade now, and when I brought up my issues to the company techs, they just lecture me on radiology like I am a 12 year old who doesnt know a USB port from a powered hub. And now that 30 days has passed, I cannot return it. So I am stuck with it. Now I have to go and buy the expensive one and leave this as an emergency back-up. Dont throw away your hard earned money. You will save a few bucks with this up front, but you will lose a lot more later by missing stuff that you would have seen with a real sensor. Buy the good one of your choice up front, trust me, at least you will feel better about the images you are getting.

Apex dental sensors are very reliable. My patients used to complain with the previous company’s sensors I used to have so I switched to Apex dental sensors and I don’t get complaints about the bulkiness or any discomfort. The images are clear and I am very happy with the service I receive.

Omg worse sensor in my life, for the same patients you have to change the exposure many times, poor quality sensor, they told us to upgrade xdr, we did, the images are horrible, run away from Apex dental please dont purchase this. I am returning mine, horrible sensors.Reply to your post:I am responding to your comment in here since you didnt leave any tab to reply: I purchased my XDR after horrible experience with you guys, All my staff are experienced and we have been around for many years, dont blame you sensors insufficiency on our ability to take x-rays, we started with our xdr sensor which is really awesome, thanks to XDR. Oh I am so happy these sensors are out of my office for good.

Run away! Worst customer service Ive ever received from a health company. When we spend thousands we have expectations. Your claims of great images are false, after multiple service calls is still terrible and it needed up our other websites settings, which you deny but is impressive given immediate change after you were in the system and no other changes were made.Your vp of sales, Brian, has poor interpersonal skills and low emotional intelligence. My business will go to the big dealers who care about their customers experience, its worth every single penny more than dealing with you clowns. Bought my stuff during covid shutdown to be prepared when we opened. It wasnt even setup for a few days before I asked for money back and Brian said its past 30 days blah blah he doesnt care. Clearly it couldnt be used without being setup, clearly my state was in quarantine as well. Clearly this company has no empathy, especially Brian. No repeat sales coming your way. Only me letting all my colleagues know how terrible this has been. Rigid policies in the pandemic era? Give me a break and use common sense. Seems like everyone has lost that.Oh, and dentimax sensors are also cheap. Great support and images. Wasted my money on one of yours, bought 2 more from dentimax. You guys are losing money due to the service you give... or dont give I should say. I gotta belive that half or more of these reviews are from your own employees. You get what you pay for, but at least I was given an option to purchase extra coverage etc with these dentimax sensors, which I did and I feel completely covered and safe. Unlike with you. This rates as one of the worst, possibly the worst, experiences Ive had purchasing expensive Dental equipment (even at a reduced cost its still expensive). Congratulations!

These sensors are top notch! Because of the price, we were concerned the quality wasnt going to be that great. We were wrong. The quality is amazing and I cant believe we waited so long to purchase these sensors. Patients love the foam to bite down on. There has been several comments on how these sensors dont hurt when they bite down. If you are hesitant about the quality due to the price, dont be. You will be happy.

We recently purchased the Apex Dental Sensors for our office and they are awesome. The work great with our XDR Imaging Software and the image quality is very similar. If you are looking for a great sensor at a great price you can not go wrong with this sensor.

I dont know how these sensors are getting such great reviews. For 7 years I had the Dexis Platinum sensor and wanted a less expensive alternative. After reading reviews and seeing online comparisons I went with Apex for the second sensor in my office. I couldnt be more disappointed. It doesnt come close to the quality of the Dexis. We spent an hour on the phone with Apex on 2 different occasions with them remoting in to adjust all the settings. I acted as the patient--we took one with Dexis and another with Apex, again and again and again. The tech recognized the difference and basically said Well, thats as good as its going to get. I did this twice thinking maybe the first tech didnt know what he was talking about. Same results. My assistants refer to it as the crappy sensor and we only use it last case scenario for pas. Ive had patients with clear interprox caries (w Dexis) and retook it with Apex--couldnt diagnose the caries with the Apex. Learned the lesson the hard way about going cheap. Trust me, Id love a call from Apex with a solution. I ordered the sensor when I was out of town and then we needed to scheule our Dexis software upgrade in order to install it--b the time we got everything up and running and at my whits end with the sensor we had exceeded the time to return it. So I have it, Id love to get it to work well but Ive lost all hope with that.

We started up our two doctor private practice in June of 2018. I spent months trying different sensors and looking into software. Ultimately we chose Masterlink and Apex. I COULD NOT be happier with this choice. Bryan at masterlink was very helpful and helped to expedite getting our sensors right away (poor planning on my part) and to get the XrayVision up and going with our system. We have been rolling ever since. The sensors have been excellent with fantastic detail. They are work horses. Since from June 2018 to today (November 2018) we have done 523 FMXs (D0210). That plus hundreds of bite wings, periapical images... we have put a LOT of images through those sensors. Very happy with the continued support from Masterlink. They have financing options and you will not beat the price for this excellent product.

Fast installation of sensor drivers. USB/ Plug/Play. TWAIN driver works well enough with my existing Sidexis software that I dont feel the need to purchase their software. Quality of the image is superior to my Sirona Sensors. Price was important. Overall very pleased.

The sensors were a great deal. We just purchased them 2 weeks ago. Setup was simple and customer service was outstanding. Still working thru the kinks of switching from PSP to wired digital but the staff is excited. We went live this week and still using both systems til staff gets more comfortable using the sensors. The intergration with Eaglesoft with the Twain setup is not a big deal at all. We were used to using what we called a 4 bwx comparison template (5 sets of BWX on one screen so we can compare each set from one set to another). With the Sensors the template had to be tweaked so we can keep the same comparison template.But overall very pleased and happy to recommend Apex Sensors to my colleagues.

Our office just got the Apex Dental Sensors with the XrayVision Software. We were able to take our Carestream Sensors and use them in the XrayVision software. The image quality is great with the Apex Sensors as well. Really impressed with the sensor and the support so far. Will be buying another when my Carestream Sensors break.

MasterScam and Ripoff BusinessHorrible Quality, the Sensor doesnt even work, not able to take even one good radiograph after a a week of trying.False Advertising, they say 30 day free and easy return policy if you are not 100% satisfied, then they scam you for thousands restocking fee if you attempt to return it.Rip off pricing, when you want to buy you have to request a quote, they try to scam you with $500 more, but when you confront them with their actual price online, they retreat from their rip off attempt.By the way, the false 5 star review below is done by the owner

I purchased the Apex dental adult sensor 3 weeks ago. I have been using it and been very pleased with the quality of the radiographs (amazing details)/ I just went ahead and purchased the pedo (small) dental sensor today . I am looking forward to using it.I was very concerned about purchasing the above sensors given that I was not aware of the name or the company selling them -- I looked at other sensors such as Gendex and XDR but could not justify the added cost!!! As of today I feel very satisfied and relieved that I made the right decision!In addition, I have been very pleased with Apteryx X-ray vision and their customer service. It is a great software with lots of useful features.I would definitely recommend these sensors to my colleagues.

By looked at all the reviews, we decided to buy sensor from Apex in January, 2018. it was broken already in June, 2018. Very disappointed. Used Gendex for >7 years, Quickray >3years, this one is only last 6 months.
