Purchased our new smoker with 2 additional racks so we can smoke more volume at one time, we upgraded from the Daniel Boone to the Jim Bowie (GMG)1. The cover is on order from Mesa location (not onsite).2. 6 bags of pellets free (one a month for 6 months - you pick up monthly).-When we purchased our previous smoker it was 12-months of pellets free (1×monthly).3. The guys in the shop are always kind and informative about their inventory and making recommendations for purchases.

Worked with Armen who was extremely helpful in helping my husband and I custom make an outdoor kitchen with Grill. He asked questions like what side on kitchen do we want grill on, do we have electric set up, How high do we want the seating area. etc….We really appreciate the communication since we have never built an outdoor kitchen before. We just recently purchased a 5 burner built in BBQ. We asked alot of questions to all 3 guys in the store. They were extremely helpful and patient. Kinda pricey. Offer products they have no stock. Talk down products they offer? Why offer them for sale? Do your own research before you buy. Must be more profit for the out of stock

After item was purchased and installed, we discovered it was not as represented in the store. Story was that the warehouse must have shipped us an older model. What we are stuck with does not have the feature that we selected the item for in the first place. Very disappointed!

Went in to purchase a new Traeger smoker and accessories. I was the only person in the store and the guy behind the computer wouldnt even acknowledge me. When I asked him for help he told me to hold on and continued to text on his phone. I decided to go to Home Depot where they were more than happy to assist me. I just called in to see if they sold a power cord for my Traeger because my lovely dog chewed through ours...Unfortunately they didnt have it, but instead of just say sorry we dont carry them in store and ending it there, the nice gentleman on the phone took the time to point me in the right direction without me even having to ask.... Im giving 5 stars for customer service...Thank you for saving our Friday Night BBQ.

I ordered a new grill and was told they would deliver, install the new one and take the old one away. Arrived at the house and no grill. Searched around and found it in a box and the old one still here. So, I figured someone just didn’t communicate it to the delivery person. Called and explained it to one person and was told they don’t install or take old ones away. FLAT OUT LIED TO ME!! Stay away!!!

Awesome experience with these folks. The have great in-store expertise and they know their stuff. Customer service (so far) is unsurpassed. Granted, we just got our smoker/grill but so far, they have a lifetime customer based on what I have seen so far.

Checked their inventory for a new natural gas BBQ. Never heard of the brands they sell. Difficult to buy with the 5th side burner and most units came with the rotisserie unit. Expen$$ive, but will keep shopping.

They are all so helpful here. Great guys. The prices are extremely competitive, often even as low as online, and they have a huge selection. Huge selection of wood, rubs, and grill accessories. Also they are local. Going here is a no brainer. Best BBQ store in town.

I normally dont write reviews unless its a very good one or very bad one. but I feel compelled to comment on the excellent service I received from Brad Berendt and the others at the Peoria store that helped my wife and I. We had an old drop in Beefeater Grill that came with the home we purchased, and no longer worked well. The new grill had to fit into the current opening. I had to contact Brad and the others thru phone calls and e-mails several times and always received a timely and helpful response each time. We werent sure that the new Beefeater grill (the only brand that would work) would work in the grill opening arrangement of my counter top outside. Well we bought it home and it was worked perfect! Thanks to all their help and patience. Would highly recommend t these people. Thanks again guys!

Visited store to buy 7 Traeger sauce and rub, they were out of the rub that I wanted. They recommended a small bottle of rub, upon checking out I found out the rub was over $20. I went ahead and purchased it and took it home to find out others charge about 7 to $8 for the same bottle. I will not return for future purchases due to the inflated prices.

We purchased a $2000 grill from these guys and were told we get one bag of pellets each month for 12 months. Wecwere told we couldnt pick them up early. Never were we told we couldnt pick them up late. We went in to collect two bags as we werent able to get in there and were told that we couldnt get it. I called the GM, who name is Steve. This is where the bad attitude and careless customer service comes from. This guy is a real treat. So, we are in the market to buy two additional $800 grills for our kids, but it wont be here. A $16 bag of pellets will end up costing these guys several thousand dollars. Stupid business practices is why these companies keep closing. The entire chain of soon to fail BBQ Island stores are run by Steve. Skip them. Go some place where you can get a good price, and better customer service. This place is not it!!

1st I looked up Michael Kull and his reviews. There were 3 reviews, all one star. Either he is a mean j... or fakes it to give bad credit.I was personally here yesterday, 05/08/17, around noon. The two sales people really helped everybody walking in and out. I personally talked to one of them who happened to be the store manager, my bet Im weak remembering names. But I got a ton of infos. Made clear I wont buy today in the beginning but felt really good informed by the time I left almost an hour later. He helped out other customers (asked everytime if its ok to interrupt briefly) to sell stuff or answer questions. You probably can get a good deal if you buy there rather than online although they say that they anyway sell a lot online (brave new world). Btw the rub I recently bought on amazon was 3$ less there. Some stuff is a bit more exoensive than I saw online. Its overall even I guess. Include the personal information and the hands on feeling and you cant go wrong here.
