This place is clean and it keeps getting better everyone I go. Tons of great products and I feel like I get to keep more of my money. If you want great food but dont feel like paying an arm and leg check this place out.

This store is fabulous, and such a great resource to have here in Peoria. In addition to amazing Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Turkish ingredients that are difficult if not impossible to find elsewhere (spices, sauces, olives & pickles, jams and dried fruits, tea and coffee, sausages, and on and on!) they have lovely produce as well, and at better-than-grocery-store prices. I always like to treat myself with some cookies, chocolate, or baklava too! The owners and employees are always so helpful and kind. Such a pleasure to shop here!

I rated this place 5 years ago. Still 5 star all the way. Unbelievable friendly staff and selection. I cant say enough good things about this place. If youre looking for true Mediterranean/ middle eastern ingredients. Look no further. Love this place. Period.

A true gem in Peoria! The new location is beautiful with ample parking. We were greeted with friendly and helpful smiles when we arrived and I was truly amazed by the wonderful selection of all sorts of items that I have not seen since I lived near Chicago. We will be returning and are very happy to have this wonderful locally owned store in our area! The people of Peoria are really lucky to have a place like this here!

Great new location! Same excellent service! Freshest produce! Wide variety of teas, spices, & olives. Super competitive price on olive oil & avocado oil. If you need rose water, this is the place for you. Baklava! You need to get the baklava! Always a joyful time. Thank you🙂

It is a very nice place and has everything I wanted. The man is very trusted and tells me his opinion honestly.. my kids were making noise but he beard them and kept welcoming them.. finally, he gave us a gift while we were leaving...thanks a lot for everything

This is my place to go grocery shopping. Not only is their quality impeccable, but I always leave with a big smile on my face. I trust their selection for produce, pantry items, and most importantly, their meats and dairy products. Everything is organized; I’m pretty confident I can find whatever I need when I’m there. There’s always a new and up-and-coming food item there you can’t find anywhere else before it becomes cool, like kefir, small eggplants for pickling, and guava juice! Above all, this place is clean! Thank God for Mediterranean Mart!

I love this place. Its locally owned and theyre very helpful. Many produce items are well priced and organic, if youre into that. Lots of stuff you wont find elsewhere.

This is truly an American success story. Having been in the U.S. for such a short time, this guy has transformed Peoria from the ordinary to the exotic. I dont know if Im more impressed with his honesty or his sincerity, but one thing is for sure, this place is a must stop if you love fresh produce, freshly baked pita bread weekly, reasonably priced tahini, olives and olive oil, cheese, unique and hard to find herbs/spices/condiments/snacks etc. Bravo Saeed Yousseff, good luck at your new expanded location on W Willow Knoles, will visit soon!

Drove for 30 minutes to shop for Ramadan just to be disappointed! The owner wasn’t friendly, he didn’t greet us nor asked if we need anything in particular.. there’s no price tags except on very few items, and the items that had price tags were VERY overpriced for example the couscous is around $6 but I always buy it for around $2.5 or 3! Lentils were way overpriced, that’s just a couple of items I’m mentioning! The fridges are not organized, the store is crammed & little, overall a bad experience, i felt like I wasted my time and I won’t be shopping here

We went to the Mediterranean Mart for the first time this weekend. Excellent selection and good prices. By recommendation of the owner, we purchased the Bulgarian white cheese and some baklava. Both were SUPER delicious. We will definitely be returning!

This is an excellent store with a great variety of halal meats. They have excellent refrigeration and handle the products professionally. It is a very clean store. They have been operating for many years and Ive only heard good things about this store from all my friends and family. This is the best and safest place in Peoria to buy halal meat for your family.

Wonderful shopping experience!.This was our first time there. The owner, Said, introduced himself and showed us around, explained what some of the foods we did not recognize were. We took home some of the pineapple jalapeno hummus. Excellent!! Great prices on produce! Best thing about the place, aside from wonderful food and great prices, was the owner, Said! He is a joy!

The Mediterranean Mart is a cozy grocery store with great prices on fresh pita bread, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. I stop in once or twice a week to see what is new, and usually end up with a couple of things that add color and interest to our meals. Easy to find, and easy parking.

Bought some frozen ground lamb from this place and made meatballs out of it shortly after. Gave me the worst stomach pain of my life, didnt sleep an entire night because of it. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital but I somehow made it through but not without a lot of suffering

There are sweet and tasty Mediterranean bread, many spices including Goya spices, dried beans there garbanzo among others ..
