Best Indian grocery store in town. They make fresh food sometimes too....ask them for more info!!
Unclean store. It is true we have a few options for Indian grocery. Item collections are ok but unorganized. You need to ask price for everything. Wrongly charged so many times. Employee name Monoz was so arrogant in providing service. He shouted and said we don’t need customer like you whereas I used to shop more than 600-700 dollars in a month. I could complain but I’m not such a person to damage someone’s business. I do feel sorry for the owner. I know how employee damage his owner.hope they will learn something about customer services.
I did my first online order and picked it up today. The staff was incredible and prompt!! Great customer service and excellent at explaining substitutes!! I will definitely do it again!
The staff was incredible and prompt!! Great customer service.
Know the owner for more than 10 years now. Great service ! Owner will get produce/ item on request and exceeds expectation.
Great prices and great product. This place is worth finding. Extremely happy with the extra care they take to make sure I am getting exactly what I need. He even made sure I got the best mango. Love this place!!
Very nice store operator... will assist you with whatever you need, nice guy thats why i keep coming back and supporting his grocery by buying stuff there
The place is very well stocked. It’s a typical South Asian grocery store. They carry all sorts of stuff: spices, pre-cooked/frozen foods, vegetables, cookies, shampoos, oils, flour, rice..you name it and that have it there. For a city the size of Peoria, it is impressive to have a store like this to have such variety.
I learned today that there is a process to be followed to get groceries there. In addition to paying price, you have to call kids on the counter on Thursdays to get groceries. Otherwise they would hide it inside and say no to customers in store. Great respect to the owner uncle very nice person and service to the community. Very down to earth person. If you dont get groceries, in a mile there is another store where you can buy stuff without calling.
Nice helpful owners 👍
Right on the road. Easy to find. Has almost all the Indian groceries. A bit expensive. Have to keep an eye on the expiration date of the produce
Even though the groceries are okay but I have taken a Samosa today and the Samosa was completely rotten and contained molds. It must be 2/3 days old Samosa and it can create health hazard. I have not tasted other food, but be careful while taking food prepared by Devon.
I love this place and I am a regular. Today I had the most horrendous experience.
A perfect place for Indian food and grocery. The person working there will guide you for all the grocery needs (good for people like me who dont know much about cooking and groceries). I have been to this place and the people working there have been very helpful. I have bought wrong items and have returned it without any problem. Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff n good collection, could be cleaner
Best prices in town for tea. Love all the spices and snacks. I just wish the prices were clearly marked.
Best Indian grocery store in North Peoria. Located on N Knoxville Avenue an W Pioneer Parkway Jn. They have almost everything needed for Indian cuisine. Even if its not available, the owner will get it within some days. Good place if you are looking for some Indian vegetables and ready to cook Indian food.
Would you shop at a Kroger or a Walmart, if there are no prices listed? I personally gave this feedback to the owner on more than one occasion, but no change yet. It is a HORRIBLE shopping experience - no prices, not well maintained. I went there on a Sunday, and they are not open even 20 minutes after the scheduled opening time. The store hours are not listed outside either. I would have given a 0 rating if I could.
This place sucks. Only on a few items prices are mentioned. When you go for billing, you will charged more than whatever was mentioned on the aisle. So, basically, you will come to know about the price of a particular item only after you do your billing. Most of the items in the store are past the expiry date. I have decided that I wont shop from this store in the future.
A Perfect place to buy food items. Love the way honored. when I was in Bradley, I used to get student discount. Prices are worthy Compared to other Indian stores.
Comprehensive collection of south asian food. Always get good customer service here. Meat/Fresh produce is not sold here.
Good selection of frozen entrees, tasteee!
Worst place ever. They lie that their sweets are fresh but I can clearly tell it’s been sitting there for more than a month. If you want Unhonest and unhealthy food, go to this place
Friendly shop. Reasonably priced. And lot of rare groceries can be found here.
Love the variety of teas available. Paying with cash is better. Helpful.
Store is not clean. Can get most indian food items spices groceries. Price is also competitive.
Right on the road. Easy to find. Has almost all the Indian groceries. A bit expensive. Have to keep an eye on the expiration date of the produce
The old guy, people call him uncle, is worse than a Chinese shop owner. Most of his frozen food have expired, and he has no idea about cleanliness - the store is full of bugs. Price markup is huge. In all, he is unfit to run the shop. Someone has to tip the county health inspector.
You can find almost everything cheaper than Swagath Indian Groceries. Employees here smile and greet when you go in. Feels good
Sold me expire foods and no return policy. I hate this store. I like other store nice couple help their way
Friendly staff & owner. I always love the fact that the owner gives honest feedback about products.
