They have a lot of good prices on vegetables, fruits and other kinds of foods. There’s good price’s of beverages and breads to. Theres pan dulce and bolillo for our mexican tortas and the pan dulce for a diner with milk. A bunch of good mexican candy to, really good place..

Wasnt too crowded today and I was able to buy a great chicken special that included a whole rotisserie chicken, rice, beans, salsa and corn tortillas. Very pleased overall and the cashier was very pleasant.

When I go into Cardenas I really feel intimidated because if youre a Mexican from the United States most of their employees assume you speak Spanish. When you dont speak Spanish they look down at you. Thats just wrong.

$11.99lb for asada is a little outrageous if you ask me. Sucks, cuz close to home. But rather go to meat market for that price and better quality meat/marinade. Although they do have fast service, usually always quick lines.

I havent been their seens covid19.but I went today it was awesome not too many people,and they are still wearing mask.and I like the way they fix it up more space, and I like that they always have all the lines open so u get out faster,it was really good felt save.

Lake Perris can be a nice getaway. I was disappointed that they charge $10 to use the dump station. There is a sign posted regarding water wasting But their plumbing is leaking.

Horrible, if I can give 0 stars I would, I never had a problem here until my sister got sent to go order food from the cocina, next think I know she comes out crying because they were being rude and wouldnt listen to her and the guy was discriminating her. The guy tambien se iso pendejo not understanding what we were asking.

Ordered two carne asada burritos from there yesterday they were both disgusting and had to throw both away. I ate more than my son and I have felt sick all day. Avoid this place there are way better places than this out there they have lost my business.

Their sugar cereal mad stale. It was Cookie Crisp. 😧. Expensive for no reason too.

I do not recommend the food service at Cardenas. The place is filthy, worse is the service. Food is not so good neither. You pay for the soda with free refills but the machine is empty the only thing you can get from there is ice. No body care about it.

Impossible, I dont understand why? I tried to make a money order here, after standing in line for 40 minutes. The clerk only was able to move 3 customers. Their win 3 other people behind the glass talking about a little child with umbrella? I think? Not sure but either way, thats 40 minutes I will never get back and now I have to go elsewhere.

The other day when I went to the store the meat section smelled that the chicken went bad. I didnt think anything of it i thought maybe its just in the store. But when I took the chicken home and opened it up it smelled the same as the bad smell in the store. It smelled like the meat had went bad and they still put it out to sale....that is disgusting. I like the store but I dont think i will ever buy meat from them again. I hope no one got sick over it. The employees should have notified the manager about that. Not good!

Store was really clean and well stocked. The prices were a tad on the high side on certain than you would find else where. The bakery had a good variety and they had a juice bar.

Just like most Mexican grocery stores, lots of delicious goodies but also just like most Mexican stores, very loud music, if the music volume was lowered then it would get the 5 stars without doubt.

Today I bought 1 lbs of carnitas I get home start eating and carnitas are not cooked right. I had to finish cooking my carnitas. How can u call urself Mexican market and cant get carnitas done right. Street taco stands are better than Cardenas.

Never eat at the restaurant inside Cardenas because youll get sick, I know because all the times Ive eaten here its always been the case. Only good thing about this place is the sweet bread, la playita is better though.

Pretty much just as expected from most Mexican grocery stores, they carry all the Mexican goodies just the music could be lowered a little but for some Mexican reason 🤔 🙂 the music is always loud at most Mexican businesses.

My favorite Cardenas since i moved out to southern Cali 10 yrs ago. Always the same. Very vibrant, happy and busy. I understand some might not know english but they do their best to help you out and make sure youre taken care of.

While I was waiting for my food (tacos) I noticed the cook had recently taken payment, grabbed money (bills and coins), and once done instead of washing his hands or wearing gloves, proceeded to grab the tortillas. I asked him why wasnt he wearing gloves, he had just grabbed money and he said sorry and proceeded to put gloves on. I let the manager no (whom did nothing) and got my money back.

I have had bad experiences at this cardenas store but today was beyond unacceptable. Due to the fact that i don’t come here because they have the worst quality of produce and meats. We only come here now for the 4 for 10 32 pack water bottle case. I didn’t find any water cases at the entrance so i kindly asked the worker where they had some. He rudely responded “at the entrance” (i entered through the kitchen side entrance and the cases were at the cafe side entrance.) i responded back “rude, ok.” i didn’t even bother saying thanks. I loaded up water cases and then went to go get the sweet bread. NO BREAD ! Not even torta bread. Everyone was complaining left and right. I don’t think i will be coming back here, i don’t care if i pay more at other places to get water.

Not once but many times their bread is always hard!!! Instead of throwing the old bread away they are selling it! I don’t have the time to go back and return old bread but it’s frustrating they continue to do this! I should be like everyone else and grab the bread with my hands and if it’s hard PUT IT BACK! Eww, will not buy again. Will go somewhere else!

The BEST homemade tortillas in town! They also make their own chorizo which is out of this world! If you like menuedo, I suggest to buy your meat hear. It is very clean.

They should hire employees who are more attentive in doing their job than talking to one another. I got so MAD 😡 when one of the register ladies was talking about their personal life to a bag boy & both we not paying attention to their job, she completely messed up my bill, & the bag boy was bagging the other persons groceries with mine! We had to separate my items & the other persons ... I was so mad!

Very bad customer service every time I order f grilled chicken, it is raw and always 1 hour od waiting when they told me 30 min., but this time it was worse than always I call to order c grilled chicken and the person who answered the phone do not take the order he told me that in 30 minutes it was ready and when I arrived and wait in the line for 40 minutes more it turns out that there was no chicken because nobody took the order the employee Irma Ayala solution was that I have to wait for another hour because it was not her fault that was so STUPID...obviously this is the las time I order chicken from this place....

Went to pick up a cake for a friend and it was a pleasant experience. The bakery lady who gave me the cake was helpful.

The best market for all your Mexican food needs

Mananger of store is rude.we asked for her to get her cashiers to open because there were so many people in line with one cashier. Its a bad managment, bad customer service. It was Thursday april 11,2019 I would like to talk to corporate about this issue of this store its the same thing everyday, month after month and nobody is doing anything about it . It sad that the Hispanic community accepts this treatment. And to know that markets like these dont care of these ISSUES. Know wonder American markets rating are great because they want your clientele.👎👎👎👎👎no stars from me!!😠

The employees are friendly here and helpful. The tacos and burritos are really good.

They have good food and I like the corn tortillas from them, thats what I like the most . And also they have good prices.

The clerks I spoke with were pleasant and accommodating. The supply clerks were helpful And courteous.

Not a good place to ask for help. I ask an employee to help me get something from the top shelf, he said yes but once I turn around he was talking to another customer and forgot to help me.

Open on Christmas Day but only two registers were open & 20 people in each line...NOT good! I asked the manager to get on a register to help out & her response was Theres a girl on break. Poor customer service.12/28/19 Silly cashier Marlene López did not greet nor thank us during our transaction & on top of it didnt want to bag our groceries SMH. I waited & looked at her as if she was lazy then she did somewhat of her job to bag the groceries.Cárdenas Market Executive Management: hire people that are friendly & will like their jobs...paying a higher rate sometimes does the job.

Its a good place to shop . Has more items that Latinos would use vs other stores.
