Very nice staff!! Dr. was great. place was spotless. I would recommend them to anyone. So many choices for frames. Great place!
I almost didnt make an appointment here after reading the reviews.... I am so glad that didnt listen to them and made the appt anyway. I had a great experience, the Dr. was very intelligent, had a great bed side manner, and I felt confident in the care I received. The rooms were spotless and equipment was very clean. The other employees were very friendly and helpful. My glasses came earlier than expected. Like I said, Im happy I didnt let the other bad reviews turn me away! I would recommend this vision center to others!
I was very happy with my experience at this vision center. The employees were friendly, professional, organized and took great care of both me and my husband. I love my new glasses and we will go back. The customer service exceeded my expectations!
I have purchased several pairs of glasses from this Walmart, I had issues with a pair of bifocals a few years ago, they fixed the problem. They sell Zeiss and Nikon lenses. Friendly and helpful people.
When you go to an eye doctor its one of those places that should be given is a clean environment. Not this place. They didnt clean a single instrument they use to take eye exams. I noticed about halfway through the exam in the dark room where I could see the oil from the previous users face all over the machine. I refused. It was disgusting. Im now worried Ill get pink eye or something from it. The doctor is plenty nice enough but when you have people going in and out every day, all day, its a sanitary hazard not to clean the instruments. ANY eye doctor Ive ever been to clean them right in front of you- before and after you use them. Twice- right then and there with every patient. The way it should be.
Ive been wearing glasses for years. Going through the process of getting my eyes examined and picking out glasses seems routine by now. Oddly, I have gone to a different eye center each time based on the latest deals. So now I have ended up at the Walmart Vision Center in Perrysburg, OH. Dr. Spohn was the Optometrist. JUST A NOTE: I held back this review until AFTER I had my new glasses to make sure the review was as complete and thorough as possible. With everything said and done, I can honestly say that as long as Dr. Spohn is there, I will NEVER get my eyes checked with anyone else! The facility was clean. The ladies out in the eyeglass area were super nice and helpful. Dr. Spohn was so very nice, super intelligent, and and overall joy to do business with (kids will love him)! When I received my script it was PERFECT!NOTE: For all those new to glasses: When you receive your new glasses you should be able to see very well. You should have a feeling of, Ah, thats better. However, if your vision is blurry in your new specs and then told, Youre eyes have to adjust. or Just give it time. No, no my friends. Dr. Spohn nailed my script perfectly, and putting on my new glasses gave me that AHHHH moment.Thank you Dr. Spohn and staff at the Walmart Vision Center in Perrysburg.
During my original visit with this doctor, he prescribed me contacts without any sort of trial period to ensure they were correct. I had been wearing glasses for quite some time prior to this visit and therefore did not have any information as to the contacts that I wore. I began experiencing issues with the contacts several weeks after ordering a years supply. When I went back to explain the issues I was having such as tearing and double vision, they made me take another eye exam and made me pay full price, even though the problem was just the wrong type of contacts. I have talked to the manager to get the contacts refunded and order new ones, but still two weeks later, this problem has gone unresolved. During the follow up visit for the trial of the new contacts, Dr. Ernest Spohn essentially told me that because he was an independent contractor, there is no one that I can report this issue to. He told me to suck it up and that I was lucky I had insurance now or it would have cost me more. I asked for a refund for the second visit since it wasnt my fault and he said no, you have to pay for my time no matter what. As a Chinese woman, I feel this doctor has taken advantage of my poor English skills and assumed that since I am a foreign woman, I dont realize that what he is doing is wrong. I will try to resolve the issue once more with the manager within several days, and rest assured, this will be the last time I do business with Dr. Ernest Spohn.
Scheduled an eye check up for my child. We both heard 10:30. We arrived 15 minutes early as we do typically for every appointment only to be told they scheduled him at 10 instead and cannot see him anymore today. When we both said we were told 10:30 the lady argued against it. Thanks for having me pull him out of school for nothing and its the last time we will use your location.
Every employee Ive dealt with here is rude and just plain sour.
