Guys, before you do the service here please read it!!! It is not worth of your time. I came here to fix a tire and the jack was installed not in the right spot so the technician just damaged the the metal where the jack goes.But this is not the worst. The owner/manager just told me that I was a trouble and I had to go somewhere else, having said they did not damage anything. I am not a boy but, come on, just stop lying, admit the mistake. It happens. But the attitude can no be forgiven.Look at some photos and just decide for yourself if you want your car to be like that and if you want to be treated like that.It is not 1 star, it is ZERO!

I went to Rodriguez Tire Service for the first time and it wont be the last. From the time I walked in to get two tires repaired to the time I walked out the expireance was awesome, these guys are true professional.

I had ONE tire that went flat. I went to this place hoping it can be fixed. They told me it was impossible to fix, and that I actually needed to purchase 2 tires. Me being a female with 0 knowledge of cars, I went with it and purchased 2 tires from them. My car wasn’t even 2 years old and had the original factory tires.Not too long after, a different tire went flat, and I took it to another location. They fixed the tire, and I only paid $11. Moral of the story - Rodriguez is a rip off, and if you’re a female, they will try to get the most money out of you by telling you it can’t be fixed!!!

The only place that took me the same day when I called with an emergency tire situation. I needed 4 brand new tires. They went and picked up the 4 tires I needed on the spot. I ad already called my dealership who i loyally go to for service and several other local places who all turned me down because they were too booked. Place is family owned and the 2 brothers that run it have been there since they were kids. They are extremely professional and have always done right with all my vehicles. They are not out to rip anyone off. They give you all the info on whats wrong with your vehicle and are willing to work with you on giving you the most affordable options. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend them.

Dropped off the car for a break check up and a ball joint replacement. They said they would look at it next day. While I never received a call I stopped next day to check on status and they told me they never got to the car due to a bunch of excuses. The next day they call me with the breakdown. They where charging me 502 I told them to give me a different quote with cheaper parts. He calls me back saying that now it would be 570. After going back and forth he confessed to made a mistake charging for double parts....I tell them to go ahead with the repairs. Next day I called around mid day to check status and they tell me it will be done by the end of the day around 3:30. I get get a called around 4 and they are telling me that they were delivered the wrong part 2 times and now I have to wait another day. I got all the excuses in the book.....but they were only a reflection of the poor level of business and they were not interested in costumer satisfaction. It was only 2 hours worth of work turned in to 3 days of inconvenience all due to inappropriate handling of business.

Ive had three cars serviced by these guys. They are fair and knowledgeable. I havent felt that theyve provided any unnecessary work and theyve even let me know which repairs are needed now, and which repairs I can hold off on. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable mechanic and tire shop

Seriously the best tire shop in central jersey. They get straight to the point, never charge for anything unnecessary, and explain everything you need to know. I’ve gone here for many years with different cars and i’ve never had an issue with their repairs or work. Like others have said, this isn’t your normal Perth Amboy repair shop, give them a try if your in the area.

Got the tires I wanted at the cheapest price around. They didnt initially have them: the Continental true contacts. GIL ordered it for me and told me theyd be in next day. Next day I changed all 4 tires for about $200 less than the dealer and about $28 less than nearby competitors.

They were able to salvage my flywheel. Quick, professional, and courteous service.

Only one guy in front to handle customers and incoming calls. Waited 30 mins to try to ask questions at counter but after numerous interruptions. I just left and went elsewhere.

I brought my car here to patch a flat on a tire 11k miles. They told me I needed a new tire because the hole was on the side, even though to me it looked like it was on the bottom. The quote I got for a new tire was $160 + installation. I went to Mario Tire on Smith St, and he patched me up for $12. Im sure theyre a great place to buy new tires, but I wouldnt bring my car here to patch a flat.

BEWARE!!!! Scam artisit!!! Thieves!!!I brought my car to get two special order tire replaced. William wrote an order to replace all 4. When I noticed them opening all four I asked why are they opening the other two as these two tires had reasonable tread? He then said it was his mistake and will put the other two tires back on the car. In the interim his guys had replaced my two tires (with reasonable tread as inspected by my regular mechanic) with some crappy similar brand tires. He then tried to justify that the reason why they were replacing all 4 tires. If these were special order tires and I ordered only 2, why they got all 4 without even seen the car? If they felt all 4 were bad then they should have show me while the car was up on the lift without removing the tires. Secondly, if these were, why they did not seek my consent to replace the other 2 which I never authorized?Clearly their intentions were not good to start with. They replaced two of my reasonable tread tires (30K miles left on it according to my regular mechanic) with cracked sidewall tires. I had the car serviced a day before I took it to Rodriguez.End of the day, I end up replacing all 4 tires as they replace my 2 good tires with crappy cracked tires. BEWARE!!!!!They are in business of selling old tires as I noticed they sold used tires to 4 customers while I was waiting to get my car done.

Idk what all these low reviews are about but I take all my cars here with no worries. I let them check them bumper to bumper. They are always fair. I know they wouldnt let my kids drive around in an unsafe vehicle. I trust them.

Professional and they can beat any price. I paid less for tires than Sears were offering. For those bad reviews that paid $300 for tensioner thats the cost for good service, dealers charge $400 plus, I say you got a deal! This isnt your typical Amboy corner shop, is what all the bad reviews are about. You pay for quality service here, you do pay more but.... you pay for what you get, great service.

I came here with a flat tire. They sold me a new tire without checking if the rim was ok. The rim was cracked and the new tire was flat the next morning. When I came back, all he did was say too bad you have a cracked rim. Go to the dealerVery unhelpful.Oh, and he didnt give me a bill when I paid for the new tire.

Worse ever!!! Purchases 4 new tires which I found out are the worse tires on the market! Was overcharged for starters. Not even 4 months later those new tires started to make noise. Took back to Rodriquez because under warrantee. These con artists kept my car for Two full days and said that my truck was eating the tires lmao. Yeah ok ! I decided to letthemgive me a verdict and remained calm. Two days later they said my struts were bad. They said they would give me a price and returned my vehicle they never called me back with price. Took my car to a real professional tire company. The way my tires are wearing indicated not aligned and balanced properly. Need new tires. Bad business people!
