Very quick service and very friendly staffs. I really love their ice creams. I already tried almost all the flavors and it was really very tasty. I recommend this to a friend of mine who loves ice cream and she likes this store as well.

Good old style Carvel store. Small store with seasonal outdoor seating. No indoor seats. Service is usually good.Plenty of free parking in a dedicated lot.

I take my son to this Carvel at least once a week. The employees are very friendly and sweet. The ice cream shop is clean and everyone practices social distancing. Of course the ice cream is always yummy.

It had been years since Ive went to a Carvel and meeting the owner who was extremely nice and from Brooklyn he made the best vanilla shake Ive had in a long time, I also brought a half dozen flying saucers and Ill never buy another store brought ice cream sandwich again. I highly recommend this ice cream shop.

Both owners are a terrific. Rosa is amazingly creative with her cakes, the attention to the details are so appreciated. I go there regularly but today my godson and I had hazelnut ice cream as a milk shake, then added the chocolate crunch and Rosa suggest making it an ice cream float. Two adults turned into two kids at the counter. We all laughed. Love the shop and the service.

Horrible customer service! And especially from a manager! NANCY let’s make this clear so no one has to encounter the embarrassment I went through with this lady! Well first and for most I came in looking for a birthday cake for my father. Looking thru a freezer found a pretty cake for a great price! As happy as I was I went over to an employee and asked if they could write on my cake and NANCY realizes the price on the box might have been mis marked so you would think she would turn around and inform me of the mispriced cake well no she went and scratched the price off the box in front of my eyes and proceeded to write on the birthday cake. When she brought the cake back to me and I took out money to pay she gave me a completely different price. I informed her sorry but the prize on the box did not match the prize she was giving me. Rather than her apologizing for the misprint she literally took the cake out of my hand and said if it’s not in your budget you can give it back to me!!! Are you serious? There was nothing that got me more furious than this! Money was not the issue! You changing the price and not informing me that’s the issue! Anyways I told her no worries I will pay the amount she had made up after scratching the sticker off the cake and nicely I told her maybe next time you might want to inform your customers of a change in price before actually writing on a cake. Well I guess before I can finish my sentence she had already walked away. Talk about customer service! And someone you call a manager or someone you trust in your business? Never again thanks for showing me the true colors of Carvel Perth Amboy! I will continue to go to Carvel in Avenel and hope to never encounter such an awful person. NANCY hope you get better trained especially in a business I would of enjoyed to come back to!

Ive been there a couple of times and I think that Nancy is not the problem, the problem is that the manager, the white old guy is very rude to his employees and very nasty to them he talks in a very tough way to them and they are just probably afraid of the treatment that he give them!
