Had such a great time here, its an incredibly scenic property. The owners host a small 1½ hour tour on weekends where theyll tell you about how they grow and harvest the lavender as well as take care of the bees that feed on the flowers. Afterwards theyll give you as much time as youd like to take plenty of photos for your social media of choice.Make sure to call a week or so in advance to get a space on the tour, since its quite a small group. $15 pp entry, and a jar of delicious raw lavender honey was $10
Love Rick and his dog Bob. They have amazing products on the farm. :)
Beautiful location and great hospitality. I purchased both honey and lavender products and couldnt be happier.
Fun family outing! The owners are really dedicated to their work and are so kind and friendly! We did the tour too early in June and the blooms werent out yet so go in July. The honey was delicious and they offered us samples.
We had a great experience touring this farm as part of the blossoms, bees and barnyard babies event. They are friendly. They have fields of lavender. They make their own lavender honey. They also have chickens, himalayan bunny. A beautiful and blessed place
Rick and his wife are wonderful hosts. Very well maintained and relaxing place!
Loved it! Learning about how they grow and use lavendar was interesting. As well as learning about the honey bees they have to make their lavendar infused honey and other products. Will take friends and go back for more.
The owners loves what they do and it shows. They educate those who come through for a tour and the lavender honey is out of this world!!!
Kinda disappointed, last week I made a apmnt for 1 pm today. It was my last day of vacation I rearranged and even canceled some family things to go to the farm store and no one ever showed up. I called a few times left voicemails 2.5 hours later still no call back. I waited around in town all day for nothing. Really sad I wasted a big chunk of my last day.Edit(sorry it took so long) the owner called us back after a bit and explained they had a bee emergency he had forgotten to let his wife know we were coming and she was outside tending the animals and couldn’t hear the phone ring he apologized profusely and agreed to make it right the next time we’re in Cali or if we placed a online order.
We had a great time. Thanks for the beautiful flowers and info about the bees.
Great place, even if its a little bit pricey. Cant beat the quality, though!
I visited the Lavender Bee Farm to do an engagement photoshoot this weekend (August 21, 2016). JoAnn and Rick were amazingly accommodating and helpful! They answered questions when I called to ask about the farm and sent me test pictures to see how the flowers were looking this late in August. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, JoAnn gave us a tour of the grounds to help us find a few great spots. She told us a bit of the history of the farm and that they have ~4,000 lavender plants! We got to sample the honey and see the lavender products that they sell as well. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
Friendly family and great farm tour, thanks Rick
Great Place
