The staff at g&c were very helpful in answering any questions or concerns I had. Very fast and efficient company to work. They stand behind there work 100% and have no problems at all fixing things for you if there not what you expected. 10/10 would recommend this company.

Excellent customer service. Amy at the front desk was very friendly and David, who headed the maintenance, was absolutely wonderful. I was treated with respect and informed about every step of the repairs. David even offered to have me inspect the damages myself since I work on my own car, just to make sure I felt comfortable with the decision. Since I didn’t want to go through insurance, David handled everything and made sure the costs were less than my deductible. I will most definitely be recommending this shop to everyone!

Im in the midst of a car repair due to a no fault damage claim with the help of my insurance carrier. and so far Im having a wonderful experience with the service staff from G&C Auto Body!! Justin has been very helpful with the guidance he has given, right from the 1st call! He is courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, and a great source of support. My insurance carrier recommended them but even aside from that, G&C was the first business that I thought of using right when I discovered that my car had been damaged by a company that towed my vehicle. I feel good about providing a recommendation for this business even though I havent completed the process yet. I had never been to an auto body shop before and always worried that when I did, the employees would look at me as a young woman who they could take advantage of (and make me pay a very high price). Fantastic experience from the G & C team. Took my Mini Cooper in for body repairs to the front of the car. Very professional team and easy to deal with. Shoutout to David who had great communication and was nice enough to drop off my car at my house after the completion of the job. All up it took only 5 days to completely fix my car hood, grill and under compartment (incredibly fast!). Amazing repair shop and would highly recommend to everyone needing car maintenance. The workshop is incredibly well organized and clean as well.

Had some work done after someone hit my car in a parking lot. This place was great! Lori was always extremely kind and even stayed past closing so I could pick up my car! They are the kind of customer service you always want but rarely find. Very fast, got my car in and out in a couple days! Highly recommend and will definitely go here if I ever need work again.

The worst part about dealing with a fender bender is the hassle of getting your car fixed. We were thrilled that G&C made it so painless and easy! They were quick, professional, dealt with the insurance company, and arranged our rental car. With 3 small children handling the logistics of dropping off and picking up cars is hard, but David Wattson went out of his way to make life easy for us. I could not be more appreciative of him and our car looks as good as new! I wouldn’t to anywhere else.

The work that was done to repair my truck where someone hit me was great. My truck is 20 years old but this company was still able to blend the color and you cant even tell where the truck was hit. If youre going to have to get auto body work done I would strongly suggest going to this company.

I’m a little late finally getting around to this review. My car was rear ended while in stop and go traffic on the highway a few weeks ago. G&C autobody was one of the preferred shops with the persons insurance so I was happy to take my car there. Made an appt to bring the car in for the initial estimate on a Tuesday. David checked out my car and determined that the bumper would need to be replaced. He told me they would order the part and follow up to make the next appt once they received it. David called me the very next day and said they had already received the part and I could bring my car in the following morning. They did a great job replacing the bumper and even cleaned my car outside and inside, which I was not at all expecting, but very pleasantly surprised about! David was really helpful throughout the entire process and kept me updated every step of the way.

G&C Auto Body in Petaluma - Cant say enough good things about them, especially Amy Champion.When I had the misfortune to be involved in a collision that ultimately saw my truck written off as a total, Amy and many others at G&C helped me through that difficult time by being more than understanding of time constraints that made me take a couple of weeks before I could get my rack and tool box off the truck before it was towed away. They agreed to keep it secured in their yard until I could arrange a day and truck to take care of it. To my surprise, they even provided one of their mechanics to help me remove the box and rack and load it into a box truck.I appreciate their compassion and help during that difficult time especially considering that, ultimately, got no work out of the deal.I hope I never need their services, but if I do, their shop is definitely where Im going. A truly amazing neighborhood business that cares.

Staff very helpful, great attitudes, good work, would return again

I forgot what her name was but she had blonde hair and maybe in her 40s. She helped me originally on Monday where I thought that was the day my car was getting its bumper fixed, but it turns out They were just taking pictures. I must have misunderstood.i took some time off work that morning. So the nice lady who helped me told me to come back in today and got me in an hour before work. She called enterprise for me and I had been waiting for quite some time and she noticed I was still waiting, so she called them again for me and kept me updated. I ended up getting to work on time and didnt need to go in late. She was very nice and they got my car fixed right by the time I got off work. Its the little things like checking up on my rental that made the service as smooth and efficient as possible. Even the other employees saw me waiting and made sure someone was helping me. I would recommend this place to my friends for the friendliness and service for sure!!

The repairs to my car seem to be excellent. The updates by phone were excellent and supportive. I have no issues with repairs and service.However, I waited a long time past my appointment when I first took the car in for repairs. And I didn’t feel very comfortable in the waiting room as I felt that the women were not friendly toward me. I felt invisible and ignored.

Beyond cosmetics, they found a cracked radiator mount after taking the bumper off, and still had my car ready for pickup one day early. Plus, they noticed an overcharge for antifreeze and credited it back to me, when no one else would have even known whether they had used another pint or not. Thats integrity!

Excellent work and customer service!

My wife got into a front end accident in a 2013 Ford Edge and was referred to G&C by our Insurance company( I was stationed over on the east coast and could not be involved with the repairs). The accident was in December and it took them two months to repair the vehicle at a cost of $20,000+ just short of totaled. When my wife picked the vehicle up, she stated it felt jumpy and stalls when shifting gears. She also noticed that the car was not detailed upon pickup( even though $400 dollars were charged) and scratches to rear bumper. She had to go back to have these issues corrected and they assured her nothing was wrong with transmission.She insisted there was and finally they agreed to have another company run diagnostics on the transmission. On the trip over the car DIED in the middle of the road! This was after everything was supposedly like new at pickup and checked over in the estimate(TURNS out G&C didnt check transmission. So who knows what they do check during the estimate). We were informed the vehicle needed a new transmission for a cost of $5000 (which would of totaled the vehicle before repairs) . We had no choice, but to agree to have a new one put. One week later it was ready to pick up. Once again my wife said it was not driving correctly and they told her everything is good to go. She insisted that they take it to the local ford body shop to have it looked at. ( at this point we had no trust in the body shop). Ford stated the new (come to find out, rebuilt ) transmission was messed up and needed to be replaced. At this point it was the end of March and my wife was moving back east. The body shop, transmission shop, and Insurance agent in California was saying everything is good. I decided the best thing to do was get away from G&C and just get the car looked at when we arrived in South Carolina. We drove the vehicle ACROSS THE COUNTRY ! With our fingers crossed we would make it .On the way the windshield started to crack from the side. This lead me to believe there still might be frame damage . Once we arrived to South Carolina we brought the vehicle to a body shop to have it looked over. They told us the frame spacing was off and that the frame was NEVER FIXED(it was on paper and charged saying it was by G&C). They also said the transmission is defiantly messed up.The car was TOTALED in South Carolina four months after the Accident and car payments! G&C allowed us to drive a TOTALED across the country putting my family and I at risk.This whole experience was a nightmare and Im surprise they are even are in business .AVOID

I brought my car in for a simple estimate. They took pictures and said they would call or email me the following day with an estimate for my damages. Its been over a week and still no estimate.

I have used G&C on three different occasions for my auto body works on my two Mercedes cars. Each time I have been extremely satisfied with the work they did. Their service, workmanship, courteous treatment of the staff, and their reasonable prices are unbeatable. No other auto body work place can beat G&C prices. Not only their price is the lowest, their workmanship is excellent also. The front office staff and the technicians at G&C are all efficient, friendly and they make you feel at home. They did not try to upsell me-but offered a way to fix the problem in the most efficient and cost effective way. Still owns the tow company they use to steal cars at night. Only changed the name to aces. Cant wait to see the cars they donate to needy families, because single parents without ransom money dont need them, even though we pay for.. it is unlawful in the state of California to tow off private property without proper signage. No signs, no tow.. I was told Id love for you to sue me... G & C towing is alive and well as ace towing, owned by the same guy.

The only 2 negative reviews are from 4 years ago, so Id personally discount them. Especially since the reviewers left little to no detail as to what happened and/or why. For example, the delay may not have been the fault of G&C. It could have been a parts or manufacturing issue. And if it was electrical, which is common in many wrecked cars, it could have been a nightmare. Besides, the most recent reviews very are positive.Anyway, the experience we had at G&C was nothing short of fast, courteous, professional and timely. Our Camry was beautifully repaired on time, and the staff took the time,effort and energy to review every detail of the work performed.

ALWAYS great customer service.

So I was in an accident regarding the rear end of my car. So progressive directed me to one of the Auto Body shops that they had contact with. So I drove the vehicle there and no issues besides my rear and and my battery dieing. So they take my car in and told me that repairs would be about a week. I was fine with that and they told me that they would get back to me to let me know how the cars doing ect. So I get a call the next day by Michelle, alerting me the the cars battery is completely dead and that I will need a new one. Okay so this is where it gets wierd. So I told her Ill buy the battery when I pick up the car, she says that its okay and that she wanted to try to receive the battery as soon as possible. I then proceed to wait until my car was finished. on Wednesday November 30th I pick up the car at 6:40 p.m. and I was greeted by Michelle. I then inspect the car looking at the rear end. Everything looked great besides the interior. They told me that in order to paint the rear end panels that they were to go inside my car and remove plastic trimming to reach rear panels. After freaking out about stuff being moved from inside the cabin to the trunk. The user manual which was in the glove box was moved to the trunk. The convertible top handle was broken. The trunk lid inside has leftover paint from used part. Side plastic trim for convertible top is uneven. After showing and alerting Michelle Jason Smith manager of GNC auto body approached me to explain to me that the car was restored to how I brought the car. I showed him everything that I showed myself and even then he told me that I was being ridiculous. After hearing that I realized there was no hope of getting through to him. I then asked him for his Superior. Jason told me that he cant release that number because owners going through hard times. Ive been repeating that I need the number he then told me to leave. So I left to arrive at Chevron where are you there was extra bolts in the trunk that were never there to begin with. Overall I am very unhappy with the job and that I feel that there wont be any justice. Always inspect your vehicle before you drop it off take photo videos or anything because these guys will give you a hard time.
