Disappointed. Found a great flooring, checked out the sample, requested a quote for a nice size sq.ft., and despite returning the sample in person and asking about the quote and calling an additional 2x, nobody bothered to call me back. Too bad. Lost my business.

I want to say that my experience with Abbey Carpet as been delightful. Suzanne helped me greatly in the shop and was attentive to what I needed. I found especially that Steve bent over backwards to be helpful. The carpet I bought is of excellent quality, and I could not be happier with Abbey Carpet.

I just completed a full-house floor renovation with Abbey Carpet of Petaluma, and enjoyed a phenomenal experience with Vick, Suzanne and Gerbet. My circumstance is a difficult one because my parents both recently passed, and I am now having to prepare their home for sale. Everyone at Abbey was heartfelt in their care to help me through the process, and made it at seamless as possible. Vick ensured the best possible price for materials and worked with me on labor, too. This was especially true when half of my home’s sub-floor needed to be raised to produce the best possible install and sight lines throughout. The wood grain vinyl flooring is exquisitely installed throughout all of the common areas, with beautifully carpeted bedrooms cushioned with a sumptuous padding. The installation performed by Gerbet was performed to perfection and with great personal attention to detail. I wholly recommend Abbey Carpet and it’s wonderfully caring people to others. The quality of flooring, perfect installation and genuine care are without flaw, and sincerely appreciated. Thank you Vick, Suzanne and Gerbet for your help. I am grateful!

Great place very friendly ppl

They have carpeted and put down wood flooring in my home and my rental homes for over 20 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

We were excited to have a local business where we could purchase flooring for our remodel. We feel strongly about using local businesses even when the cost is more than what we could get with an online retailer or large warehouse. Unfortunately while Gary was helpful in the selection and ordering of the material, once it was paid for and installed the company would not stand behind the product they sold to us. We found several defects in the product after only a few months of use. When we asked to work with them to find a solution, the only thing they suggested was for us to pay to have them tear-out the product and install it again. We were disappointed that as a local company they were not willing to work with us to find a solution. I would not recommend using Abby Carpet for any of your flooring needs.

Had a small job for them, laminate in the kids bath. Didnt want to spend money on slippery tile for that bath just yet. All others who gave estimates on the job tried to talk us into tile, which is not what we wanted. Abby was the only one to actually quote what we wanted and not talk us out of it. They did a terrific job, on time, clean, professional and on budget! Will use them again for sure in the future.
