Great fabric shop. Some very interesting patterns here and lots. Be aware that currently (as of Oct 13) its by appointment only and you will need proof of vaccination to get in after they take your temperature at the door.
The owner Barb and another staff member Brenda were absolutely wonderful. They knew all the right techniques, products and processes for the projects I wanted to tackle, and actually had them all in stock. I live in Half Moon Bay, or I’d be visiting far more often. I know they could encourage and teach me to be a much better quilter. And they are genuinely NICE!!
Shop owner was very accommodating and answered all my questions. She even gave me suggestions on how to finish my quilt. Would definitely visit again.
Open by appointment only, which is not on listed on their info page. I called twice to try a d make an appointment and no one answered.
Wonderful store, wonderful people. I will definitely be going back.
I telephoned QA on October 2nd to see if they were open to the public. I was told yes, by appointment only. I made an appointment for October 3rd @2:00pm. I arrived on time wearing my mask, had my temperature taken and used hand sanitizer. The woman who checked me in asked if I was looking for something in particular. I told her yes and that I was going to need some help calculating a piece of yardage. She snapped back at me that they couldn’t help me do that. i.e. not enough time, etc. I told her that I had been to QA many times and was always assisted with help. She said, “Have you not visited the website and read the guidelines?” Obviously I hadn’t since I made a phone appointment. I found fabric and went to the cutting table. I encountered another unfriendly woman who blurted out, “I can’t help you right now.” I was just standing there waiting. Two other customers were shopping and no one was in line. Another woman called me over to a different cutting table and waited on me. I have never had a bad experience at QA. I was blown away! Shopping online is the easiest but my local quilt stores are my first choice.
Very nice very clean very organized place to buy lots of material to add to your collection. I was greeted upon arrival and asked while I was shopping if I needed any more help. I found plenty of fabric to look through and also buy. When Im in the area again I will be a repeated customer. Thanks for being there.
Great selection of fabrics. Friendly service but one of the staff rudely refused to assist me in determining the quantity of materials needed for my project. It was a shock to me considering the high number of quilt shops I have frequented and have always needed assistance in calculating total yardage needed to complete a project. Not once have I been refused quality service at a quilt shop until this purchase. The other staff was extremely friendly and the fabric choices were phenomenal. I will be a returning customer
The very BEST!!! Like a candy store. Great staff! Everyone is interested in your project. Exceptional and predictable quality and selection.
Always a great place to get what I need. The staff are so helpful and wonderful. Thanks!👍👍🌟✨
The only place I go for fabrics! Recently went here for help with my very old sewing machine, and they were happy to help me (free of charge). Very helpful staff, great fabric selection.
Have been by a couple of times to get quilting supplies for baby blankets. They have the best quilting fabric supply in the region, hands down. Dont forget to start in the way way back of the store and work your way forward.Wish their hours were longer so I could go after work and avoid the weekend crowds in the area.
My really liked this store. Very large selection of materials and tools.
The Quilted Angel is definately a favorite destination of mine. A great collection of quilting fabrics and notions. And, this shop is THE place to find a supply of some old favorites that one cant find anywhere else.
Charming store...found some material from a line I hadnt heard of before. Very friendly staff. Not a lot on sale if youre looking for discount fabrics.
Lovely shop with beautiful high quality fabrics.
Awesome shop for cotton fabrics. They have a wide selection of historical fabric. Staff were friendly and helpful. They do sell cotton barista, which seems hard to find at chain fabric stores. Fabric prices are higher than at these chaains.
Super friendly and helpful staff, very cute store
Fabulous atmosphere. Warm and friendly staff
Fabulous fabric selection, the staff is friendly and helpful. Many beautiful quilts and projects on display to inspire.
Absolutely wonderful warm people
Everyone is helpful and very nice. Will keep going there.
Very nice quilt store. Lots of fabrics on the bolt, classes, samples of quilts hanging.
Shopping for fabrics should be a PLEASURE, and Quilted Angel rates five stars from me, just for honoring that. Here, youll find a clean, organized, well-lit, welcoming shop, with none of the stinky scented products, clutter and confusion of JoAnns. The staff is pleasant, educated about their fabrics and ready to assist. Petaluma is so lucky to have this business. As the name of the shop suggests, this is a store for quilters, but you will find some high quality cottons and flannels here if you sew your own clothes. They have a small but valuable selection of Kaffe Fassett shot cottons which make beautiful sundresses, blouses, etc. They also have a full selection of Mettler threads, though not a full selection of notions. The quality of the quilting fabrics is first rate, suitable for making top quality quilts. Prices are on the high side, but worth paying to keep a places like this in business so that sewists and quilters have more than one shopping option in Sonoma County. Really a lovely place to go.
Quilt shop with many types of fabric, for all interests.
