Always great for your standard hardware needs. However, I would love to see them get a better selection of sch 40 PVC fittings. Particularly a wider range of reducer bushings, reducer couplings and male and female adapters. I do not think I am alone in this.

Business hours on google say that they are open on New Years and drive all the way there and they are closed. Not that hard to update your business hours. Not only this but one of the worst customer service places ever.Was loading lumber once with a broken wrist and cast on and a guy in the yard came over to me to tell me they were closing soon and then went on his way. I have always been treated as if I was inconveniencing them.

Always friendly and helpful staff, Easy to park, and navigate through the store itself. plenty of tools on hand, a great selection of nuts and bolts for the quick pick up. I would like to see an expansion of Farm type product though. Given the area its in, I find myself thinking i might have to go to TSC to pick up a few bits and bobs, it feels a bit standard and I am asked if i have an account with them, get away from that. It makes it feel industrial and not the neighborly place it should be.

This place has a friendly and helpful staff. They carry a diverse and high quality selection of building materials and home goods. Return policy is great and simple. The yard is very nice and organized. Usually fast and easy to get in and out. Ive been here more than a dozen times and never had a bad time. Overall, a much more pleasant experience than Home Depot.

Small store with friendly employees. We found what we needed this time but on previous visits had to go elsewhere to find what we needed. Their focus seems to be on quality over quantity so you cant be mad at that.

Great lumber yard and hardware store. Because its local, I expected it to be more expensive than the big box stores, but I have been surprised. They seem to be able to undercut Home Depot on a lot of stuff, including lumber. And their lumber delivery charge is very reasonable.

I have always had good experiences at Belletetes. I bought all the materials for building my house, addition, barn, wood sheds, and garage, and everything to maintain them, for 40+ years. Ive gotten to know many of the staff (many of whom are neighbors), and find them very helpful.Some folks who write reviews dont like to shop locally, and would prefer to spend their money with large corporations. I like to support local businesses, so that they will be able to stay around and employ local people.Not every customer is easy to please, but can be quick to write bad reviews, rather then trying to resolve problems. Treat others with respect and they will reciprocate.

As usual they didnt have what we needed, a standard finishing screw. Terrible service.

Been going to Belletetes for awhile. Always a good selection and no problems finding what I need. Millwork always helpful and knowledgeable when Ive used that service. They did an outstanding job on a deck slider with integrated pet door a few years ago. Recently, when I had problems with a front entry door order, upper management stepped in and quickly rectified the problem. Will always go to Belletetes first.

No help from staff so you better know where everything is when you go in the store. Staff is unfriendly. When checking out if you say hello they just stare at you. Go to one of the big box home improvement stores, they are certainly no less friendly, they might actually be able to help you and they will have a wider selection and probably better prices.

I have been shopping at the Peterborough Belletetes since the 1970s. The prices have always been good; the selection of tools, supplies, and lumber has always been good and it keeps improving; and the customer service in the store and the lumber yard has consistently been absolutely outstanding. I shop for my small home repairs and for Christmas and birthday presents, but everyone treats me as if I were a big-time contractor spending thousands of dollars. They are wonderful about special orders and the much-needed, generous advice is always spot on.

They have what you need, prices are good. They have products you wont find any where else. I have ordered lumber for delivery and all of it was #1 and delivery charges are the lowest.

Ive been a Belletetes customer since 1998. They have great staff - friendly and knowledgeable - and have just about anything Ive ever needed for house repairs and so on.

Belletetes is great. Everything you need in a hardware store plus super friendly people.

After repeated attempts to get reasonable customer service and basic respect as a long term customer and contractor, I have given up. Almost a lumber yard has become my second worst experience as a carpenter. The owners expect you to be dishonest and treat you as such. The floor help has no understanding of product. They couldnt care less about product or customer service. The yard help is good, though.

Great company and the employees are very helpful. Typically if they dont carry a product in Peterborough they will have it in Jaffrey.
