Called this business to repair refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher. When the tech arrived, he cleared some ice from the freezer and then said that it needed a new control board. He requested payment upfront for parts and labor which we paid $400.56. A week later, a different tech arrived and said that the control board he installed was faulty and he would have to order another one. During this whole time since the first visit, the unit has been working fine. I called and spoke to Cory to cancel any further repairs and to get a refund for the parts that we had prepaid and were still waiting on. Cory immediately became defensive and angry and said all sales are final, no refunds will be given and that they would come and install the part when it becomes available even though it is apparently not needed at this time. I was perfectly willing to pay for the service call/labor, but not the part. He said this is the way that all businesses operate. In addition, throughout both service visits, neither tech ever looked at the dishwasher to diagnose the problem with that appliance. I would not recommend this company and I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Never have I dealt with such an unresponsive and unprofessional company. The man they sent out to repair my washer after a MONTH of waiting for them to order a part that they said was out of stock AFTER charging me $300 upfront for the diagnostic, part, and labor, was actually very nice and friendly. When I would call to check on the status of them coming out to install the new part, the guy on the phone laughed at me and said that no one wants to work anymore and thats why they didnt have the part I needed. When the guy finally came out to install today, he told me everything was working, promptly left (I should have asked him to show me that it worked), and I found that NO its STILL BROKEN. two months with a broken washer and out $300 for nothing.

The gentleman there was very courtesy answered every question help me with everything I needed and was a blessing to talk to thank you so much for your courtesy

Harrison appliance worked with my husband and I to get all the appliances we need for our new home. They were able to help us stay within budget and get good quality appliances. They are very family oriented and have great customer service. Highly recommend!!

They gave us a great deal on a refurbished Stainless Steel Fridge for our church kitchen and even hauled the old one away for us after delivering the new (refurbished) one. I have worked with Harrison Appliance on a couple of different situations. I was able to get a great dishwasher for our office as well as a second refrigerator for my home. They were able to communicate exactly what I was getting and the cost. All I can say is I got a steal in both situations. They have the best price and appliances. I bought a Speed Queen washing machine at half the price of a new one this was a scratch and dent the debt was in the back so you will never know what you came with a 7 year warranty on all parts and labor very heavily made will Outlast me and Im 64 years old thank you so much and you all have a blessed day John edelblute.

I wanted to surprise my daughter with a budget friendly washer/dryer set. Sight unseen, I was able to tell them my budget and the brand I was looking for. In less than an hour I was texted pics of models they had. The purchase was made over the phone and by the end of the day the transaction was complete. I am almost two hours away and couldn’t get to the shop to browse myself. This company far surpasses ANY major hardware store for customer service, professionalism and communication. Even with an oncoming hurricane they are hoping for delivery tomorrow. Unreal. I am beyond impressed!!!!

First time doing business with the company (to purchase only a $12 part) and I have already met the owner and his brother the manager. They will take the time to talk to people and really seem to care about customer service. They took my number, put a hand on the part, and then called me back.From what I could see, they offer everything appliance related from parts and repair to sales of new and used machines. I fix my own stuff, but its good to have parts close-by, especially in rural VA.Google will probably get you lost trying to find this place, but you can find it right off of US 1 instead of I85 as Google seems to think.

Sold me a lemon dryer. Broke down with 2 months. Then the man laughed at me when I asked him how much to repair a dryer that I bought less than 2 months ago. Wanted to charge me $45 plus $60 and parts! I paid $145 for the dryer...I could have just bought a new one. This place is a rip off. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid this place!

I called about a problem with a stove and they sent a repairman the next day who fixed the problem on the spot. 4 stars is because of relatively high trip charge.
