I had rust spots, dents and some scrapes removed before painting. They did a great job. I had a couple of estimates from other places, but they had the best price. Thanks Maaco!

One person told me about a military discount and said it would be added upon return. When I returned to pick my vehicle up I was told that should have been done prior and any changes now would make them look bad. They refused to apply it and caught a slight attitude as well. Still a few spots that were not properly repaired on my vehicle. I had to be the one to call and check on my vehicle. Would not recommend to anyone.

I dropped my car off to be painted and replace my fuel door. on a Sunday was called to pick it up on Wednesday....The timing was great its just, it wasnt the right color... I wanted back my original color navy blue and when I got there it was a cobalt blue.. I was very upset that I wasnt notified on the phone before I arrived

Maaco in Petersburg is the best. Went in to get an appraisal on the cost to paint my 99 Dodge Van. They took it in immediately, did a super job on it three days. Even painted my exhaust pipes that I forgot to tell them. Had two other cars in the past done by these guys. Nothing but good compliments from people who saw my ride. Gave out recommendations to a lot of people to take their cars to Maaco if paint job is needed. The only place I will ever go. Great customer service. Nothing but the best!

And John did a good job quoting the price for us hes very nice and we are very pleased with there service. If u need your vehicle painted I would go to them thank u all so much.Update:Its been 8 months since yall painted our Mustang paint has popped off on bottom of driver door husband bought it back to u and u say it was rocks no it wasnt. No paint should,be popping off after a paint job anyway so Chester Maaco fixed it for us yesterday we will never go to Maaco again to get a vehicle painted !!!

I had an insurance claim for my vehicle which basically called for me to have my whole car repainted. I found a decent paint shop but they wanted way too much so I had to find another shop. I came across Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting via Yelp I was a little skeptical because the reviews werent too good I must admit but their price was cheaper. So against my good judgment I gave Maaco a shot and I must say I am impressed with the out come of my vehicle. Their customer service was good they kept me in the loop every step of the process and it took about 8 business days which wasnt too bad looking at the way the car turned out. I recommend this paint shop if you are looking for budget friendly good body or paint work to your vehicle.

Ive used MAACO Petersburg several time over the years and was very pleased with their pricing and service. That all change about a month ago, when the management changed and their pricing (at least for me) went sky high. Wont be doing that again.Things have really changed for the Better. I recently gave them a second chance and everything went well.They repainted the hood on my 95 Tahoe and it looks brand new again. Not bad for a truck that old with 228,000 miles on it. Keep up the good work and the good prices.

Bad customer service! They told me itll be done within a week and once the deadline was met it was no where near done in a timely fashion. Paying 1000$ it should be worth the time plus done when told. I recommend a different location or different shop overall.

John and Don and the whole crew at the Petersburg shop did a terrific job on my 30 year old full size Chevy Silverado. Its not perfect but I am fully satisfied for the price I paid and highly recommend this shop for auto paint and body work. Its not a show truck, its a work truck that I wanted to spruce up so I wasnt looking for perfect. I have no complaints and Id let them work on any other vehicles of mine in the future.

Extremely satisfied.When I arrived at the location to pick up my vehicle that I had painted, I didnt even recognize it. I actually thought it was another customers car. It looked like a brand new vehicle off the show room floor of a deslerdeal.The staff I came in contact with when I dropped my car off as well as the day I picked it up were all friendly,personable, and knowledgeable. Obviously the owner is very involved in the daily operations of his establishment and has well-trained staff.I absolutely highly recommend them for any collision repair or painting needs.I dropped my vehicle off Monday afternoon was promised it would be done by Friday and they actually had it done for me Thursday.not very often that a business meets its goal for promising you something and certainly not often that they exceed it.

Im posting and I havent even received my truck back yet. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. My truck has been in the shop for 3 weeks and I still dont know when it will be completed. I was told it would be done in about seven days. Two weeks later I was told it would be done at lunch time. I went to look at it. The truck was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. There was damage caused by them and overspray everywhere. Not to mention grinder marks. It literally looked like they were high and careless while working on my truck. The initial estimate has since doubled and I believe if its not done properly I will seek legal guidance. I feel as though they do not deserve to have a business license with the poor workmanship displayed. Never will I use or recommend any maaco.

I had the Maaco in Petersburg, VA order and paint my back bumper at first. I thought they did a great job, and was highly pleased. That is until a few months later when I needed my front bumper replaced. I went into Maaco and made my deposit. Ray told me that my bumper would be done on Friday. Out of common courtesy, I would of thought he would of called me to let me know when it was done. Nope. Okay, so thats not too bad. I decided to save a couple bucks and have my boyfriend put on my bumper. Once he put it on and dropped the car back off to me, I could clearly tell that there was a difference in the color. As soon as I noticed it, I called Maaco and left a voicemail. The next morning, I still hadnt received a call back so I called again. Ray proceeded to tell me that People make mistakes. Not everybody is perfect. and left it at that. No apologies or anything. I brought it by Maaco so that he could look it at and see what I was talking about, and Ray told me that I would either have to take the bumper back off myself and bring it in or they would have to paint it on the car (which I dont fully understand, seeing as how to do a complete paint job you would think the WHOLE bumper would need to be painted, just not the front). A couple days after talking to Ray, I also noticed that my back bumper was a different color as well. Needless to say, I havent been back since.Of course I was extremely disappointed about my bumpers being a different color than the rest of my car, but also in the lack of customer service that this shop has. Working in customer service since for eight years, I guess I just expect too much these days. I will be happy to take my four other vehicles that need FULL paint jobs somewhere else where customer service is key.

Horrible customer service went there referred by the sister store to do some framing work. I take responsibility for not checking behind the manager. But how is it I went there wit a print out if what I needed and that was not even looked at but I paid over $2000... Car looks like garbage none of the dents were removed but they did recommended I buy two brand new door for over $4000 because they were dented... Hahaha but what did it matter my car is dented everywhere else... Real thieves they rob u without a gone and wit permission. Not only the manager is garbage but the owner is just as bad or even worst!!! And I have done business wit other Maacos so its just this one and the Chesterfield who are Owened by the same BS business man... Learn how to do business please
