Pewaukee Vision is the only place I will get my glasses made. The lenses are always right the first time. Customer service is amazing!

Everyone at Pewaukee Vision was very helpful. I felt the exam was very thorough. I was not rushed through my appointment. From beginning to end, it was a great appointment.

I had been having my eyes examined annually for years at another local eye care store and decided, this year, that I needed a change. I thought going with Pewaukee Vision would be a solid choice. At my exam, the doctor informed me that my macula was mottled and asked if my previous optometrist had ever mentioned this. I know enough about the human eye to have understood she was potentially concerned about macular degeneration. I left my appointment with newfound anxiety and fear and promptly made an appointment with a retina specialist at Froedtert Eye Institute. I called Pewaukee Vision and requested the doctor send my records and her notes to FEI. I was forced to endure 17 days of worry ahead of this second opinion. During this time, my new glasses came in at Pewaukee Vision. I wore them home thus beginning the often inconvenient process of acclimation. It wasnt long before I realized these new glasses, the largest lenses Ive ever worn since I started wearing glasses in 1965, were torture. I tolerated them for four and a half days before I understood something had to be wrong -- the reflections were extremely bothersome -- obviously, the larger the lens, the greater the reflections and glare; however, since Id paid for anti-reflective coating, it never really occurred to me that I didnt get it. I took my glasses back in, and the young woman behind the counter informed me in a flat, very casual manner that the anti-reflective coating I had paid for was missing from my lenses. Her lack of concern and caring around this careless mistake was slightly jarring. My lenses needed to be redone -- another week or so of this punishment, but at least, for my trouble, I was told I was entitled to a free upgrade. My second opinion appointment mercifully arrives and what the retina specialist had to say was music to my ears. He informed me, after thorough examination of my eyes and review of the PV doctors notes that, while she may have been well-meaning, she overreacted. He also handed me a card with the name of a FEI optometrist at a satellite office nearby. I am done with eye care stores. This is the second time I have received frightening false information from a provider at one of these businesses, as well as the second time having glasses incorrectly made. Pewaukee Vision provided me with a double whammy.

Pewaukee Vision is a high quality, patient oriented eye care practice. Their caring attitude is evident from the moment you check in. Dr Elyse Bruns is the newest member of the practice and she is clearly an all star who embraces the culture of patient first care.

I have been to many vision providers around the area. The very first thing is that they hound you for frames, frames, frames, and Sir do you want frames.My experience here was so much better. I know what i want and why i am there and do not need a sales pitch. Here I did not get one. The people there were very nice and accommodating, efficient. I do not think I could have spend less time there then I did. I found the frames I needed and the staff helped me pick them, advising me with the right information.It is not often that I walk out of a store being thrilled with the service provided. This time I was. I think I found my eye glass provided for the next ten years.Update: Just stopped by today to have new lenses installed. A pleasure.

What I love about eye care at Optical Consultants is the incredible customer service I got. Everyone there had my best interest in mind, educating me on my prescription, style, price, fit and options. I ended up getting two pairs of glasses because I found out there was a solution to the eye and neck strain I was experiencing while working on my computer...monitor lenses. Bill and Laurie explained and answered all questions.To trust that I have the very best for my eyes is a wonderful thing. THANKS!
