I usually stick to the Ace on Sunset but unfortunately after our lawn mower stopped working they didn’t have the one we wanted, available for pick up or delivery. So I chose this location for delivery. Was supposed to be delivery on May 5. I called in the late afternoon only checking the status, I waited all day for it. The gentleman that I spoke with was rude. And kept cutting me off and stated with a very rude tone ‘they do have other deliveries’. In which I told him I completely understood, that I was calling just to confirm it was still set to be delivered and that I was just wanting it left by the garage. He told me the driver would call me before making the delivery and hung up. By 8pm no delivery and store was closed I couldn’t even call. Then on 5/6 at 12:45 I hear multiple doors slamming in my driveway and left. I open the garage door and find the lawnmower with the delivery receipt just sticking out of the box. I never got a phone call. Never got a delivery confirmation email.

Tim was very helpful and knowledgeable about finding the products that I needed.

Elliotts is the best and the man in the service area is even better. We had a great discussion with lots of smiles!

I visited this store this morning ready to try out a few paint colors. One of them was a Benjamin Moore paint color that I wanted at a 50% less saturation. The gentleman who waited on me didn’t understand what i meant. When I explained it to him he informed me that he couldn’t do that for me. He said he had to make the paint the way it was supposed to be. I then told him that I would have to try another store. I immediately visited the ACE hardware store in Waukesha and the young man working there helped me out. Not a problem. Sorry ACE hardware in Pewaukee. You lost my business.

This shop has all the hardware need. The staffs are soo good. I went to the shop to fix the water leakage problem in my house. I thought the hose(tube) and fixture cost around $150 as per OEM part. But the solution provided by staff is $5 and 50cents. I replaced the leak hose(tube) and fixture with new set given by Elliots. It is working 100% perfect.

They had what I wanted. And the associates were friendly and helpful.

I went in to purchase a standing tool chest that was on sale. They were out and asked if they could order one for me. I said yes and the man told me it would be in the next day and he would call me. He did call me and we went and picked it up. Everyone involved was helpful and very nice. They followed through with everything they told me.

Ace is the best place to get help finding items fixing items etc. The sales staff are great.

The place to go if you need fasteners. They have by far the best selection of fasteners of all of the home stores and other hardware stores.

Use to be my favorite store until covid-19. No one was wearing a mask including the employees. They were not practicing social distancing either.The only safety I saw was a plastic shield for the cashier. So much for putting the customer first. I will not be going back until this pandemic is over.

I had to replace an exhaust fan motor for the bathroom and the associate there was able to help me and identify and find the correct motor for my bathroom! Not the first time Ive been to this place, but they are really helpful especially when you need something specific or just have questions.

A great hardware store but much more than just hardware. There are many other departments (housewares, lighting, paint ...) to browse through. Great for a quick trip or spend a hour wandering.

Ave hardware stores, while not having the massive stock of the larger chains, they have excellent costumer service and usually have what you need. This location is no exception! Ive gone there many times for my dyi projects, often without disappointment.

The entire staff at Elliotts in Pewaukee is the gold standard of The helpful hardware folk. There is a fine line between helpful and condescending, and it often takes the form of a smile. From the complex to the mundane, they always listen and answer with good advice in a manner that makes you feel that these people just love to help you out. They usually have anything I am looking for, and in the odd case they dont they tell me exactly what I need and where I can get it... and they dont try to upsell you... for this reason they have my constant repeat business, over several other Aces closer to home who frankly just have not figured out that whole smile thing. Thank you Elliot Ace, you guys rock!
