I have been driving past this place for several years. There is always a long line. Coming from someone who enjoys a great snow cone even in the middle of a cold snap. I enjoyed this places snow cones. The flavors are syrup based not powdered like some snow cone stands. Each time I have gone I try something new. The snow cones are large so bring a large glass to dump it into so you can drive. And not spill it all over your vehicle. :-( I take a tall thermos so it can stay frozen all the way home. Great service each time too. The ladies are wonderful and very helpful.

Yesterday afternoon my daughter was crying so I decided to stop by. Since I moved here to Pflugerville I would notice this business getting packed every time I would drive by, never noticing it was a sweet dessert place. Yesterday, I was on the opposite side of the road and I decided to stop by. I ordered a shaved iced dessert with an ice cream cone, shared some with my little one as my daughter assist me and she enjoyed a little as shes my small one as carseats can get hot for babies in this crazy heat! My A/C doesnt fully reach back there, though my baby, daughter and I enjoyed our treats! Great place!

Consistently good. Great place to grab a snow cone and some hot cheetos and cheese. Sometimes theres a wait, but if youre in the mood, its worth it.

Theres no way it takes as long to make a snow cone as these folks take.30 minute wait for a snow cone?Whomever is in charge needs to figure out a more efficient manner of putting ice in cone and syrup on it.Not returning until the service speeds up. Until then its Sonic.

Very yummy especially when it is 97 degrees out and 80% humidity. They have sugar free flavors for the Hawaiian Ice.

I’m not sure what is going on I’m a usual customer. Every week I come for a large rainbow snow cone. Last week and today I received a snow cone that was like a block of ice. The young guy today tells me that’s just the way the ice has been coming. I asked for a replacement not looking like a block of ice and look decent he tells me if he remakes it will be the same. I asked for an refund and he tells the owner son well you can’t please everyone and walks off. The owner son apologized and was very friendly. I’m not sure what’s going on but if I could rate this as -10 I would.

It is awesome!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. My little brother loves it, my mom loves it, I love it, every one in my family loves it!!!

Great snow cones, but it takes them WAY WAY too long just to take an order and then an even more absurd amount of time to make your order. In the 11 minutes it took them to take just the first cars order, 8 cars lined up. Then a few more, which leave you sticking out in the road. It’s going to cause an accident. 3 cars left after waiting 10 minutes. We finally left when after 3 minutes of the second car waiting (mind you after the first cars 11 minutes that we were there!) and they hadn’t even opened the window to take their order.

I live less than one mile from this restaurant and my child loves the food and snowcones. Unfortunately we will not be back. The wait time is typically 20-30 mins. Improve your efficiency if you want to keep your customers.

Saw this place on my way back from the grocery store and had to bust a U-turn to check it out! Best to park in the back because thats where the entrance is. The people working there were super friendly and were happy to show me all that they had! I ordered a slush with the extra sweetened creme and I nearly crashed on the way home because it was so good and I couldnt stop eating it! Definitely a great spot to satisfy the sweet tooth!

So good I missed the photo op! 😋 The Zephyr and Wild Strawberry with Ice cream is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and the young lady at the window was super nice and personable. They give samples to help you choose.

This place is fantastic! Only con is : they don’t have Tamarind flavor YET. Here’s hoping though! Anyway, I got the Mexicanator ( comes with pickles) Angelina was super awesome! ( She needs a raise!) she was so friendly and made my order amazing too! She was also the first to tell us about the punch card they have ( if they don’t tell you ask about it) anyway.... Y’all definitely need to come check this place out! Especially in this hot Texas weather.

So good...just didnt like the fact you have to wait awhile in your car for the girl to make it and bring it out.

God forbid if you walk in from back door to order as I was dropped of by my wife to to pick a snow cone for the first time. I was scolded that they only do drive thrus ....really!? So they expect you to walk upto the window in heat to wait and risk cars around you? No thanks. Rude behavior that I felt terrible. I was wearing mask and was very couteous in asking if I can order here.

This was a delightful little place and the sno-cone was amazing. We will definitely be returning especially when they open up their in dining option!

Absolutely love this place but i hate the 45 minute wait just to get your snow cone made. They have amazing snow cones but the wait was so long i saw at least 7 cars leave. If they will allow call ahead orders this will probably eliminate the wait.

Terrible experience. Ordered a Frappe and a shake. Shake was completely melted and somehow bitter and took 10 minutes longer than the Frappe.

This place is awesome, I love the frito pies, the raspas, the mangonator. It’s all great. But I have had to wait 40 minutes for 1 kids raspa more than once. That’s a little ridiculous, and fixable. They need a better process in place. Owners don’t care I guess…..

5 stars the flavor, 0 stars the 40 minutes wait plus 2 stars the clumsiness that sometimes they do.

I would give less than 1 star if it was possible. We waited almost an hour for snow cones that one of the employees said they may have spit in. We wouldn’t have even gotten them this soon if we hadn’t gone to ask about them. So unfortunately they got thrown in the trash because they we didn’t want saliva cones today.

There icecream and shaved ice are so good! Theyll make anything you ask for! You can also get a hotdogs or frito pie that makes it even better. If you havent went what are you waiting on

This place is just okay. They have a variety of food items i.e. ice cream, snow cones, hot dogs, etc. They put way too much syrup on the snow cones every time Ive stopped there. And their ice cream isnt the freshest. Overall you experience quite a wait time on busy days (evenings and weekends) for mediocre snow cones. Its worth it on a hot day.

They took our order fairly quickly but then we waited 45 minutes for them to bring us our one ice cream Sunday and snow come. They were walking around with orders and had no clue who they belonged to. The best part was watching the Karen’s come together and collectively complain about how long they were taking.

Very nice variety of shaved ice (even though lots of them taste similar to each other). Love the corn n cup here! The drive through line can get kinda long during peak time.

On top of having to wait 20 minutes for our order. We also found hair in our cups. In not just one but BOTH. Disgusting.

Been there many times because my family likes it. Drive thru only allows 3 cars at a time because more than that runs you into the road. As the 4th car in the drive thru today, I decided to park and walk in for counter service but was literally yelled at by the douche canoe who was working there around 4pm on 1/31/21, saying theyre closed inside. He yelled that I have to go through the drive thru for service. When I indicated that there was no room in the drive thru and that there was no need for his hostility, he yelled again that he was the only one there. 1) If counter service was not available, why was the door open? 2) If your employee cannot handle the stress of working a shift by his/her self, either increase staff or fire them. No Company needs jerks representing their business, yelling at customers and driving them away.

Waited almost 45 minutes for two sno-cones. Sno-cones lacked flavor. A tad bit unorganized

Love the shaved ice, plenty of flavors to choose from. They even have sugar free options. Service is warm, be prepared to wait just a little when busy, but its well worth the wait.

Buy a new ice machine!!!! The ice machine they currently use not only provides inconsistent soft ice texture but it takes forever to shave the ice. The lines are always long (40min waits) and it’s not because they’re “busy” it’s because they take about 3-4 minutes to make 1 snow one for a car. If you come here you WILL be forced to wait in the middle of the high way in order to wait in line therefore blocking other cars and causing traffic. I went to a new snowball place and they took 1-2 minutes to make the snowballs. It does not take that long, frostbites just doesn’t know what they’re doing. I recommend frostbites buy multiple ice machines like other snowball shops to keep up with the demand.

This place is great. So good, in fact, that their biggest problem is they’re too busy for their own good. A line of cars means you’ll easily wait 30 minutes. But we keep going back.

Be ready to wait for 20-40 mins. If cars in front you leave, then make sure you get your correct order because their business will not track who leaves. Theres another good place in Round Rock, with faster service.

I think they should come up with a better method of taking and bringing out orders. We were brought 2 random orders, as the associates went to the next vehicles in line randomly asking the cars if they had their order. Other than that, the snow cones were great.

This place was amazing! They dont skimp on the syrup and was totally worth the wait!Plus, I really appreciate how the syrup didnt melt all the ice on top and instantly make a mushy mess, it was almost perfectly formed and oh so yummy. Great prices too, and they have ice cream, coffee, and snacks as well.I kept it safe with grape and pomegranate, while my better half got rainbow. There were too many choices, that next time Ill try to read all 50+ different options :)

This place is very depressing. The only reason they get one star is because they have blue bell which I can anywhere. I ordered something called a chocolator that had chocolate sprinkles on top of some watery substance. I also orederd a bacanator that had bacos instead of bacon. This place bums me out

Always a great experience. Staff is hard working. The line may be long but the snow cone is definitely worth it. My favorite is Dreamsicle.

They are super busy,but they give great service and all of the employees have a very pleasant way of helping. Big plus their snow balls are awesome.I have tried a different one everyday this week

Pretty good. The wait is ridiculous. Only me and another car and we had to wait like 15 to 20 minutes. Nevermind the are 2 females working.

The hole in the wall concession stand brings comfort food in the style of an old school diner/local hangout. From shaved ice to ice cream, nachos to hot dogs, and lots of different flavors to try and combine (including specialty flavors), Frost Bites is by far one of my favorite places to go to satisfy the craving of sweet AND salty. Fair prices, friendly staff, and a clean dining area are all found here. Stop by and grab a chocolate sno-cone and chili cheese nachos (my personal favorites), then relax and enjoy the music.

I love this place. They usually have a wait but its worth it. They have a large number of flavors. They have lots of choices from snowcones to ice cream. Their prices are very fair.

Great shaved ice, however service is SOOOO slow. When you order at the window, they essentially get on a plane, fly to Alaska, collect ice and then fly back, add flavor and bring it to your car. I was shocked! This was my second time there. My first time I waited 15 mins, but I figured it was a fluke. Yesterday, I ordered- there was 3 cars in front of me waiting in the cones. I waited 24 minutes!!!!!! I thought those cars ordered the entire shop with a steak on the side.. nope, they all ordered 2-4 drinks max, each..I saw 5+ people working, Im so confused how they could be so freaking slow... reading the reviews its clear this is the norm for them. Super bummed as I love supporting local businesses, but clearly they need to get their **** in order! P.s. Owner- if you need to set up 958 cones for a queue, thats a clear sign your staff are moving wayyy too slow.

I usually enjoy this place. Most the time I get my tried and true flavor which is the Tigers Blood with cream. Decided to deviate on my last go around. I got the Passion Fruit flavor. I come from a place where they have lots of passion fruit. What you guys have marked as passion fruit isnt it. Not even remotely. Frankly didnt really taste like anything to me. Get rid of that flavor.One of the workers excused themselves for the wait in delivery of our cups. Which is fine as werent in a hurry. Also told us that some new employees were in training. Thats fine too. Maybe thats why my cup had some flavoring voids but then again, the passion fruit flavor didnt taste like anything.

Great as usual. Always more than enough ice and syrup. Got 5 shaved ice 1 of them stuffed. All good and we all tried new flavors to us. I got a Hawaiian w/ Pink Lemonade and wide got a Dreamsicle w/ Raspberry stuffed with vanilla ice cream.

Excellent variety of flavors. Probably would have been great if I just went through the drive thru but we went inside where it reeked of bleach. I understand youre supposed to sanitize but it seems like theyre trying to cover up another scent, either rodent or pets upstairs not sure but since leaving after finishing our snow cones weve all felt nauseous.Snow cones where good but the scent definitely ruined it for us.

Oh my I used to think Id never find a better snow cone place other than a famous one in round rock 😎 I wont say the name. But this place has too many options and concoctions to pick from. My 6 year old loves it, and they have a kiddie option. Will definitely be coming back

They need English speaking and those who can understand English. We arrived at 11:55 am. Walked in and lady said we closed at 12:00. So we left. Got in car and Google it. Hrs are 12:00 pm till ? Not sure of closing. Go figure. This is not good for business. So sad. We came through from Oklahoma and was told how good it is.

I have been looking for a snow cone place that doesnt skimp on the juice. Frost Bites is my new place. Not the closest place for me to go but I have gone to the place in RR several times and its hit or miss. I ordered my usual cherry, banana and pickle juice and I was able to taste all the flavors until the end! My son had the cake batter and it was delicious as well. I cant wait to take a drive and try a new flavor. 😄

Ordered a small snow cone with cream and medium chocolate milkshake. After 20 minutes (no joke ten minutes in line with one car in front and ten minutes waiting for our order), the staff gave us a small vanilla milkshake and my husband had to remind them about the snow cone. They came out with the snow cone without cream and only ice in the middle no juice. We have frequented this place every summer for years. We will not be returning and the staff was not pleasant.

We go just about every other week. The snow cones are very soft, the flavoring is always the perfect amount, and Bryan E is probably my favorite employee. Hes super kind, always smiling and helpful to the customers. The other young guys that work there are great as well. They make a great team when together.

Been buying the same snow come for over 1 yr and here lately these ppl are telling me the ingredients are charged separately when before it wasnt. Then I asked for a large empty cup to pour my medium snow cone cuz it always spills in my vehicle so the charge for an empty cup is $5. Next time Ill bring my 32 oz Yeti.

I decided one night to take my mom to this place I’d been raving about. There were two other cars in the drive through they got through relatively quick. When they got to my car they took my order and requested that I pull up to the curb. We waited for about 45 minutes for our order to be brought to the car. I even went inside to check on the order and was told that they’re backed up but will get it out soon. Had I known my order would take 45 I would have just gotten ice cream from HEB for my kids. We ordered two small sno cones and a smoothie. The smoothie was for my mom. It was HORRIBLE, doi NOT purchase a smoothie from here! The smoothie had an undesirable taste. Will I be back? At this point, no. They lost a customer sadly.

We love this place! Weve gone once a week since they opened this summer. Its always delicious and its well priced, too. The staff are very outgoing and friendly and make the visit enjoyable. Their drive thru line moves pretty quickly, as well. Highly recommend!!!

Great place for snow cones. I recommend getting it with the two scoops of ice cream! Big selection of flavors and they serve a few items other than shaved ice if thats not your thing. I posted a pic of their menu with flavor options.

Menu selection is great. They have both sno-cones and ice cream among other things. My sno-cone though wasnt well made. I could barely taste the cream I added on and there simply wasnt enough syrup in. The ice was also crunchy instead of finely shaved snow ice and just isnt as good. My kids were happy with their Blue Bell ice cream.

Been grabbing a cup or two for the past eight months and it has been the best shaved ice I’ve had since I’ve moved here three years ago and they’re always polite and make your shaved ice quickly. It will always be a pleasure to go through the drive-through to grab a quick bite.

Y’all snow cone are good but the line is way to long

Tried the Mexicanator because it was similar to the picadilly cherry ones I would get in the Rio Grande Valley. I got the biggest 32 oz. Pickles were cut up in little cubes and after the top dome was gone, so was the rest of the pickles. Next time Ill get the smaller cup because judging by the pictures, they put the same amount. The little bag hot Cheetos with cheese wasnt bad.

And the day manager is super friendly and great!!!😊😊😊

There is a drive thru! The kids working the window are all really sweet. They are pretty fast considering its shaved ice they are making. You have to finesse that ice! They have nachos, frito pies, hot cheetos, ice cream. I think theres something for everyone here. Prices are standard, few bucks for a snow cone. I love it!
