I come here all the time as its in the neighborhood I frequent and the staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Its easy to find in the the gas station parking lot and plenty of parking. The food is always good too.I usually get donuts, kolaches, breakfast tacos, and croissant egg sandwich with bacon or sausage. The food is always consistent in flavor. I order here so much that everyone now and then they do forget something or mess up the order nothing too crazy. The food and donuts are already made for the most part. They sometimes will throw in extra donuts so it offsets for the, the occasional mess ups for me. However on a large order I would definitely double check everything. Its a 5 star review because the few times they have messed up they went above and beyond and fixed it immediately and apologized. I really appreciate them for that.The donuts are sweet and fresh, the kolaches are good. I believe Ive tried all of them. The breakfast tacos are good i really like the sausage egg and cheese croissant that my favorite. I definitely recommend Smiling Donuts for as a top notch breakfast spot. The customer service is exceptional!However, Ill always be back here for more, because of the friendly service, good food and early hours!

Friendly folks!Apple fritters LOOK mundane, but taste among the best.Kolache’s were more croissant-like bread which was refreshing. VERY tasty indeed. They had a boudin sausage variety that was SO much better than the generic donut-store sausage. Wow!Several options for boba tea competently made. Not Teapioca, but perfectly fine.All in all terrific!

My son and I love it here. We’re always welcomed with a smile and courtesy. Their coffee milk tea with coffee jelly and side croissant egg / cheese sandwich is my favorite. My son loves their donuts. And watch out- you may get a few donut holes thrown in with your order 🙂

Surprisingly good! They even gave me a free bag of donut holes. I ordered:-Breakfast tacos-Breakfast croissants-KolacheThe croissants were really great. Nice, flakey, soft with a great flavor. Would definitely get them again.The kolache was good as well. I think the breading seems like a pretty nice quality but I definitely needed some dipping sauces for it. If they made a sauce to go inside, that would definitely bring it to the next level lol.The breakfast tacos were good but not my fav. I appreciated that they didn’t over cook the eggs like some places do. They were nice and moist but I think that made the flour tortillas stick to the wrapper and they tore when I opened them and the potatoes inside seemed a little bland and just boiled or something.Everything was also ice cold when I received it, but I’m going to just blame that on the Doordasher. I just put everything in my toaster oven for a few and it was great.I also really liked their salsa. It had a good flavor and wasn’t flamingly over the top spicy like most places around here.If you’re looking for a quick, cheap, tasty snack and you aren’t worried about non-organic, GMOs, or processed American cheese lol, then this is a great place.

What a wonderful place! My love and I recently moved to the area, and this has been the only donut shop weve gone to- because its hard to justify going anywhere else. You can really taste the care and knowledge that goes into all of their products, and you first get a sense of that when you are welcomed by the warm staff who are always there. We cant wait to try all of the things!!

First time going to Smiling Donuts on Grand Avenue and I was very impressed. I went on Thursday and picked up a couple apple fritters, plus a few other items, to share with my daughter and we really enjoyed them. They were very fresh and had a lot of flavor. Very courteous gentleman took my order. I will definitely go back. Highly recommend!

This is the place to get milk tea. (I didnt try the boba this trip) I got a jasmine milk tea with whipped cream (creme top for those who know) it was S++. Ive tried a few places in Texas and they all havent been great outside of a couple chains. This mom and pop shop is EVERYTHING. We also tried the pineapple slush which was good. These drinks are very sweet at 100% sugar which is good for me. If youre use to a more traditional shop sweetness do 30-50%. The reviews about their food speak for themselves. Its good. Im here to talk about the milk tea. I will be adding more reviews on their various drinks in the future!Excited to try the brown sugar milk tea next. 💕 this is my new fav local spot.

Staff was extremely friendly. Donuts with sprinkles come in multiple colors (the kids loved that). The only draw back was the filled donuts were very skimpy on the filling. We had a lemon, strawberry and a long john filled donuts and all three were lacking.

Just moved over to Austin, TX from Philly. I tried out the everything kolache and it is great! Its about $3.99 and, it might be because Im used to Philly city food, but it definitely gave me a pleasant surprise. It blows Dunkin Donuts out of the water and is a great welcome to Texas! Im already glad I moved. The aesthetics, taste, and standards are well above what Im used to in Philly.Update on 9-10-2020: I tried out some other kolaches from other places and they werent as good.

My daughter and her friend went in to order me a avocado bubble drink when they brought it out to me it tasted like sugar milk so I asked my daughter to have them remake it and she was greated with rude worker about remaking it. Will never return again.

Their donuts are super fresh & light. Their kolaches taste so good especially their boudin kolaches. And.. their milk tea was fantastic. The sweetness was just right and the texture of the tapioca balls were just the right chewiness! Love love love. My favorite donut shop in town for sure. Will be back here!! Most definitely!!

Excellent milk tea and they can adjust the sweetness level to your preference; that is some top tier service :) Boba is more flavorful and sweet compared to other shops Ive been to, which I really appreciate. Love this place!! The people are always very friendly and nice! Their donuts are a very classic yeast donut and they have the classic cake donuts as well, both are very good. My favorite thing is the sausage kolaches the bread is so soft. Their milk teas are also great and you absolutely have to try their maple bacon donut! Omg talk about awesome!

I love that this donut place sells milk tea and smoothies! They make very good milk tea and carry unique flavors that are harder to come by with other milk tea shops in the area. Also, there kolaches are wonderful!! The donuts themselves were okay. It was tasty, and curved my craving for donuts. I feel like they were a little bit wet, but still very much enjoyable. Not my favorite donut shop but Ill be regularly ordering for more of there kolaches and milk tea though!!! I cannot find banana milk tea in any other of the shops except this one! Reasonable prices, good selection of donuts and kolaches, really dont have anything negative to say, I enjoyed everything I tried. Updated: Theyve started serving breakfast croissants. If youre not looking for something sweet, theyre perfect to pick up on the way to work. Much better value than what you can buy at Starbucks.

Me and my girlfriend ordered through Uber Eats this morning from this amazing restaurant for the 1st time and we were blown away. We had a few kolaches and chocolate donut holes as well as a strawberry banana, banana, and mocha smoothie. We were skeptical at 1st but after today they have became our number one donut shop!!!

The person helping us was extremely patient and sweet to my kiddos even though they were taking forever to pick which donuts they wanted to try :) the donuts and kolaches were super yummy.
