Many of the shelves were empty and common multivitamins that I have bought from other GNC stores for years were out of stock.The most unprofessional aspect of the store was the loud rap music filled with cursing, n---er this and n---er that, and threats of violence.Nothing about the experience would encourage most people to return to this location when there are plenty of other locations including online sales.
Bad customer service. I went looking for a specific protein and they did not had it available, they were out at the moment. I asked for suggestions, something similar to what I was looking for. The guy working there told me “go to Walmart, they will have it.” Instead of helping me buy something similar there.
As soon as I walked in I greeted by a friendly face with an eager to help attitude. I was in and out in no time thanks to the employee getting me right where I needed to be. Outside of his helpfulness we engaged in friendly conversation. He made sure I knew to come back if what I purchased didnt work out. Ill be back for sure!!!
Awful service. Very dirty and filled with tons of dead insects all over the store. Sold us a pack of several protein shakes that we found out expired in a day. When we went to exchange them less than five minutes later, we were greeted with so much attitude and annoyance because we could technically drink all of them in the next two days and be fine. Then he tried to get us to ignore the expiration date as a whole and acted like we were such problem customers to want protein drinks that would last longer than the next two days. Id rather order online and pay for shipping than be treated awfully.
The guy named Douglas is rude. I have never had that experience in this location until today. I didn’t feel welcomed at all!
The employees do not wear masks. It’s extremely alarming that a business does not follow local regulations or care about their possible high risk customers who come into the store. I was greeted with a “hey sugar spice” when I walked in, which an is extremely inappropriate greeting for any customer. Please learn how properly greet your female customers and treat us with respect. I will not be coming here anymore.
This location is great, the cashier was very knowledgeable and very helpful, he made sure I had everything I needed very pleased with their customer service
I just bought a Protein Iso pure and pre-workout, as I usually do every month at this location. I friendly as at the desks guy if they have any promotions of proteins and he said not, I also mention that I saw online 50% of promotions for the c4 Pre-workout. And he answered I dont know, if you show me I can see... I reply should I show you or you show me. What kind of costumer service does this place?. Make me want never cameback there to purchase my supplements again. I dont want to judge no body, but I believe if you work on the place where you require to be friendly and attend to costumers. You must to be nice and have a little less of attitude with your customers. ( 02/09/2021 at 4:50 p.m.)
We’re in Stage 5 of COVID-19 here in Travis County and employees aren’t wearing masks. Absolutely insane and irresponsible. A health and wellness store should not be allowed to be operating like this right now at the expense of the health and wellness of the community they’re in.
I have been so happy with all my products from this store. I used to shop online with Amazon, but I have been coming here for a several months and get so much attention and information from the people that work here. They really know so much about the supplements they are selling. Justin has the best attitude and really gets you excited about your health goals. He takes the time to listen and finds the right things that I am looking for. This is also the first place my niece always hits up when she comes home from college. She goes straight to Justin and is so happy he is at this location! The store is always clean and has so many great products. I recommend this to all the ladies that I work out with. We love this store (Justin more maybe lol!) Good job management! The customer service at this store is awesome! It is a game changer.
Employees dont wear masks or care of there customers do either. They dont have any signs on the door that state that it is required. Very concerning!! State order says all businesses are required to wear masks and everyone, etc.
Hot as heck im the store! Cashier so busy flirting with other female customers he is of NO ASSISTANCE. The new guy did try...bless his heart. I will never return! Is there a minus star I can rate this store!!
Yes its just a stop n go for nutrition needs but the staff is always so friendly and they know there stuff. I always have a huge smile leaving there because Im informed and have a little extra confidence. By far my favorite GNC
Store is so much better with the people that work there now. I haven’t been in a while and I decided to go in there the other day, and what a difference. Customer service is on point. I was greeted with enthusiasm, I shopped, and then once I was ready to check out I was offered information about some other great products that I wouldn’t have known about or bought. Now that I have tried them, I am loving how I feel and will continue with my new regimen. Thank you to the young man that introduced me to new things! (Good looking and smart kid!) I will be coming back and will share my experience with friends and family.
Lets keep it real, as a plus size woman working hard to get healthy it sometimes feels embarassing seeking support but I swear this GNC location been my #1 stop for friendly (& real) support! Ive spent hours with the workers there talking me through products to maximize my results & break plateaus, really talking me through healthier and clean ways to get myself towards my goals. I literally just left there today to exchange a product (hassle free) with Robert who honestly was the bees-knees in customer service!!!
I went into this location and the salesperson, Justin, was so helpful and knowledgeable. He pointed me in the right direction as to what would be the best supplements for me to take....and I feel great! Thanks, Justin!! The store was very clean and organized and that alone (other than Justin being pretty good looking) will keep me going back!
The really great sales associate, James I think, made this place stand out. The inside is like any other GNC but the customer service here was awesome. The store was clean, well organized and carried standard inventory for GNC. Our sales associate was really knowledgeable and gave us great break downs of each protein powder we asked about. Great place to go, especially if youre not familiar with the land of vitamins and supplement stuff.
Went there for the first time in June/July after I moved to Austin. Like the place, have what I looked for. None of other GNC stores in my area sell it or no longer sell it. The guy who works there learns some signs and is extremely friendly!
Sales rep was very helpful. She was quick and knew right where to find the vitamins I wanted.

The young man behind the counter Sunday afternoon on 9/10/17 should keep his comments and opinions to himself. He also should only give what he thinks is advise to people that have asked for his opinion or advise. Especially when I am in store trying to buy something and he is telling me You shouldnt be taking that and Its your body I guess... so yeah. Not from the same person but at the same location this is second time this has happened. I assure you that the third time will not be blown off. Somebody will get an ear full from a big scary looking dude (Me) and it will probably be filled profanities and ridicule.So please if the management will address this issue that would be great.Thanks.

The Guy helped me find what I need . The store is very clean and welcoming . Been going to GNC since I was in the Army and I felt like I was on a Military installation looking for supplements.
Have been going to the gym and working out for most of my entire life so I like to think that I know how to lose weight and work out. I have also been going to GNC for various work out supplements for over 5 years now. However, I have never been insulted by one of their employees until today. I was returning a thermogenic and a bottle of cla and he proceeded to argue with me about the effectiveness of CLA pills. He started talking about macros and counting calories and when I disagreed with him and told him that I dont know what macros are he referred to me as having a see food diet! Dont know if he was calling me fat or what but I did not appreciate the comment because I didnt want to buy or use the product! Throughout the entire visit I felt pressured and made to feel less than for whatever reason I do not know. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. Will probably not go back to this store!
