Best mechanic ever

This place was awesome the first time I took it to get my inspections done. This time I paid $76.59 for a full synthetic oil change. This place really disappointed me, it’s just like every other auto mechanic. Taking advantage of any young woman who comes in on her own. I stayed for convenience and because I have a trip tomorrow but from now on I will plan better and go to my local dealership. I called them to get a price for the same service and it is $46. I’m very disappointed and will not come back or recommend it. It’s a shame because I like supporting small businesses but when you get taken advantage of, it’s just not cool. Hopefully my oil change was done with the appropriate oil and will last.

These guys did my inspection fastly and efficiently and are profession. Plus they open up at 10 and are open later which not many shops do that so its great to have one that does and are actually car savvy.

Honest, fast, affordable! I cant say enough good things about this shop. JR and his team were professional and friendly. My inspection was completed in less than an hour after dropping it off, without an appointment, at 7pm on a weeknight. Feels great knowing theres an honest mechanic in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

If I could give them a 10 I would. My wife told me about them. They are honest, very reasonable and never pull that typical junk other shops do of magically finding something else wrong with my car. At other shops I have gone in for an inspection and walked out with a $700 bill. That would never happen at The Fix.While most shops in the Kensington area will not work on European cars, these guys will and not charge $300 an hour. The best shop in Philly!
