Great place, great people! Clean, organized and well stocked store with a wide variety of items and prices for each pocket type. The employees were very helpful and we left the store with some new knowledge and ready to fish. Highly recommend this store.

Horrible bait shop. Very rude employee, the older women that works there. Every time I walk in there she is always angry. I highly recommend going to another tackle shop in the area.

Super service. This place is a one stop for all your fishing needs. Service was very friendly and everyone at the counter was knowledgeable. They also made sure people practiced social distancing. No complaints here. The space is small but they only let in five people at a time. I dont know if thats a new rule.Before we went to the shop, I called to see if it was open. One of the owners answered and was very friendly over the phone informed me ahead of time what they didnt have.We got everything we needed and well be back for more.

And if you want to ask more then a question or two be courteous and make sure there isnt a lot of people in line.

What an amazing place with amazing staff. I cant even begin to tell everyone what an amazing experience i had. This is by far the best bait shop on the area. Very good prices and knowledgeable staff. The worst customer service experience in my life... Arrived to get live minnows. Unfortunately forgot to grab my minnow bucket. Asked the owner to dispense them into a temporary plastic bag (I am 25 mins away). Got cussed out. Asked the owner why he is so angry and he threatened me with bodily harm. Ran away in a hurry as the owner appeared to get his concealed weapon. What a nightmare, please avoid at all costs there are other normal placed in town :(.

My first time visiting sportsmaster and I have to say they have a wide selection of great products and everything you need for fresh and saltwater. I will be coming back! The staff is very nice knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend visiting this bait shop for all your tackle needs. I live 30 minutes away in Delaware county and have no problem driving to get what I need when I need it.

Had an amazing experience when buying my father-in-law equipment here a month or so ago. Even though my father-in-law doesnt speak english, the staff was well prepared, breaking out the google translate. There were extremely helpful with providing direction and feedback on what type of equipment would be best for the current season and species of fish he was going for. Highly, highly recommend this place. And this is the first time Ive written an online review ever, so that should also tell you how impressed we were.

The owner n lady there are a-holes. he said i couldnt purchase license, that i have no choice to do it online. which is a lie.i honestly felt discriminated.(printer symbol) Items with this symbol MUST be printed online. If you do not have a printer, you will need to purchase your license at an authorized license sales agent.i bet some of the 5 star reviews are fake and created accounts by them... that does happen in this day in age.all the one star reviews say the same as me. go read them

Today I walked in this fishing store for the first time.i didn’t know what to expect.as soon as I walked In I got greeted by a store employee.i got the fishing rod of my choice for a good price.the employee also showed me what kind of equipment to get.i spent less than 50$ and now I’m ready to go fishing prepared.i rate this store a 5 star.and no I’m not a worker or a owner I’m a happy 14 year old customer .

Good place to learn whats happening in the area and at the shore. Many great suggestions on places to catch fish and access areas that are new, awesome bait selection. I crab, fresh and salt fish. We do Surf and boat fishing. I got just what I needed.

Came in with my son and the staff was nothing but nice showing him the different types of worms and even let him grab his own minnows. Really friendly people and it’s a bait store people, do you expect to eat off of the floor? Highly recommend and they will see me again soon.

I know Sportmaster gets good reviews but I had a horrible experience today. One of the owners refused to spool my real because he had a beef with the reel manufacturer. So he took out his frustration out on me, a customer. Who penalizes customers for bad relationships with vendors?

Great shop. The place is spotless with great service. Not being much of a fishing family, I wasnt sure where to fish and the right tackle to use. Its that time of year again! I always get my license, bait and all my gear here. They have great service and carry great equipment at reasonable prices. The owners and employees are great to talk to and I look forward to this years fishing.

Big selection and good stuff could be alittle easier on pricing but I guess its only shop around close. Guy pretty helpful for beginner though. If prices where a tad better then would get 5 stars
