The store is large, clean and beautiful.But a very small selection of rugs. All rugs are polyestric and are very expensive in terms of value for money. Paying almost $ 700 for a 7x10 rug is not reasonable.You can buy tiles, laminate, carpets, but not rugs here.The salespersons and consultants are very professional.

Went there a few days ago looking for new carpet/flooring for my basement and dealt with Michael. Took his time with me, didn’t rush anything and pointed me to the best flooring for the best prices. Worked with me on a few separate occasions and was always great and helping as much as he could. Would highly recommend this store and would highly recommend his help.

We purchased an area rug for our living room, and are delighted with it. The store had an extensive inventory with many patterns and colors, and we found one that perfectly matches what we wanted. Michael Milligan was very helpful with the entire process. We will be redecorating our dining room in a bit, and will need another rug there. This store will be our first stop.

The staff at Lomax is great, this is the go to place for all floor coverings. Carlos who did our carpet installation was awesome !! Lomax is the place to go.

We went in for carpet for 1 bedroom and hall n stairs, they came out as scheduled, measured and we went back to the store to pick out carpet. We got (60oz.) carpet more expensive it would cost us $1500 and change. However the guy never finished the steps n the same day and was late arriving to the initial appointment. On the next day which he came back to finish the stairs. We later received a call from Lomax and “assuming bc he was late and didn’t finish the job” they gave us a free room of no additional charge. We never even complained. Wasn’t cheap either abt $600. We are very pleased. We definitely recommend them to family n friends.

The carpet installers, Jonathan and Bradley, were terrific. They did an amazing job installing a bedroom carpet and are so nice and professional as well. The carpet looks wonderful and I am very pleased. I have purchased carpet from lomax before and it always has been a pleasure working with this carpet company. Super happy.

I just purchased 2 area carpets with the help of Julie McAllen. I came into the show room twice looking for something that would match the colours I was working with in my remodel.Julie was so great gave me my space to look & shop but was right there when I had a question she was so helpful & informative. ( taught me quite a few things I didn’t know ) Then when I couldn’t get the carpet I selected before February 2022 due to it being a special order Julie made another call, through her due diligence she was able to get me my carpets.2 separate stores shipped my carpets to her store and I got my carpets today. I never do reviews but I was so pleased with how Julie helped me I just had to make an effort. We recently purchased and had carpet installed in our new home. We had an exceptional experience with the entire process thanks to Diana. She absolutely went above and beyond to help us select the best carpet for our space and lifestyle. Diana is extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The installers were really great as well. They were professional and extremely efficient. We could not be happier with the final product. I love this store! Lomax sales and staff are the best. They took the time to answer all of my concerns, and patiently showed me their inventory until I found a carpet, and padding at a great price. I will never shop at any other tile/carpet store. Joe, who greeted us, is the most patient and knowledgeable of ALL the staff at other similar stores. We’ve been around and at some stores you are on your own until you run around and find someone who then tells you to go to the front desk and they’ll page someone and you stand and wait. At Lomax, Joe answered every question; we weren’t directed to find other help. He answered every question and had great suggestions! We were thrilled with Joe and will certainly go back. The store itself is organized and clean and has the largest variety of tile we had seen. It was a wonderful experience, start to finish!!

I had Lomax install vinyl tile throughout my entirecondo, which is roughly 1000 sq feet. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the end result.The flooring is absolutely gorgeous and was meticulously installed with precision and care.If you are looking for a reputable company to redo your flooring, Lomax is the one to go to. They have every style and color imaginable and will work with you from beginning to end.

Diana was my sales associate and did a Marvelous job in directing me to find the perfect carpet for my steps and hallway. Also, Jonathan Lopez was my carpenter. Let me tell you... you will not be disappointed by the timing he takes to get your carpet to be perfect. Quick and fast. Definitely will be shopping again.

Pretty good tile for a fair price. Had a few problems with orders. Some things I ordered did not come all together because one of the associates forgot to put half of the order in. But they gave me a 10% discount for the wait.Overall pretty good experience.

I’ve purchased from this company for years. The people at the store were great, product was good. Last year I hired them for a special project to accommodate seniors who were wheelchair bound. It was right before COVID and I replaced bedroom carpet and living room laminate with the same vinyl to provide for easy transition between rooms. I tried to manage the project from out of state, and was relying on their expertise. The seniors did not complain because they never complain or question anything. . A year later I find out that the technician did not remove the huge marble threshold between the two rooms . For a year during COVID these poor people were struggling to get wheelchairs over the threshold. The technician merely installed “reducers” (like quarter ounce) on both sides. No one ever even asked me, but they knew the whole point of the project. I was heartbroken when I saw the state of affairs.

I just had my three bathroom floors done with a LVT faux wood product and they look GREAT!! i had a wonderful experience at Lomax Carpet Mart. my sales person Patrick was very helpful and knowledgeable and had great follow up . Susan in customer service was great i called her with a few questions and she followed up right away and had the answers. my installers Javier and Neil we very professional and did a great job they were on time and worked until they were done . i will definitely go back to Lomax when i am doing the rest of my house .

Worst customer service. Managers never call back. Thos has been going on over a year.. We have been trying to get them to look at our floor. We charged the entire house flooring. Squeaking all over the place, wood peeling, and people they send are incompetent and blame each other. It was from Philadelphia Mills Lomax in Philadelphia. Manager name was Jeff.

Do not order from here if you want your flooring anytime soon! I ordered 1500 sq ft of Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring for a rental property where the tenant was scheduled to move-in in 3 weeks. The flooring was delayed 3 separate times. To their credit, after the 3rd delay, they offered free delivery. When the flooring was finally delivered, it was missing the stair nose, which they say you need to have to even start the installation. 2 weeks later, the stair nose finally came in and I was able to complete the installation on 2 out of the 3 floors. At that point, I ordered another piece of stair nose, and was told it would take 7-10 days. After not hearing from them for about 3 weeks, I called and they told me the piece got lost, and they just placed an order for another one. Hopefully my tenant will have the floor installed before Christmas!

We had a really nice and informative salesman, Patrick, assist us with getting a vinyl floor and also carpeted steps. We had many questions as it was our first vinyl wood floor purchase and all of the options seemed overwhelming. He took the time to explain to us what would be best for our situation.

Excellent experience at Lomax -Franklin Mills Circle! The showroom is big, bright, and spacious - even shopping with a mask was ok since there was so much light and spaciousness! Selection was fabulous- so many choices! The best part of all is the customer service - our sales person Lydia is so helpful, warm, caring and friendly! As is the manager and every person I encountered, including guys who helped me carry the samples to my car and the women at the desk who answered my questions and helped to schedule the measurement. I had previously bought rugs at Lowe’s and had to wAit weeks and weeks for measurements and install as well as limited selection compared to Lomax. I like Lowe’s but I love Lomax for flooring and carpets!

Beware of hidden costs!! Was quoted a price for old carpet removal and was lead to believe it was included in the total price. Until the day of installation and was asked to pay that amount in cash after I had already paid in full!

I just wanted to say that Jeff Maruyama waited on me and my husband to sell us a carpet pad and acted in a most professional manner, and was accommodating, as he had been to us, 3 years prior, selling us the same pad, for the same carpet. Jeff took the time to check another data base to determine when we had purchased the first pad to validate the dimensions of the carpet that my husband had specified; despite the fact that Jeff was skeptical of these dimensions. Jeff went the extra mile to insure the proper dimensions of the pad, and we appreciated the respect that Jeff had extended to us, as senior citizens, in an age when seniors are not always considered of much value. I wish more sales people would act with this type of consideration. After all, seniors have needs to make purchases; and if were treated as third class citizens; well take our business elsewhere.

Ok first things, first - the first review gave was not for this store so I had to delete it when I read it again, it was for another store not belonging to this company whatsoever. Anyway place was amazing carpets and price was great customer service. Got a commercial for the basement and a home carpet that a density 80 for 2.99 Sq Ft!!. You wont get anywhere. Sorry for writing a review before.

The store at Franklin Mills has a huge inventory. We purchased flooring for our kitchen and carpet for our living room. John and two other installers did a great job. They were very professional and cleaned everything. Totally smooth process, I would highly recommend.

I’ve been shopping here for years.. way back when Lomax was in the Kensington/Frankford area.. up til their recent move to the Philadelphia Mills Mall. The sales people are knowledgeable and helpful. Ive bought an entire bathroom remodel worth of tile, changed my mind and switched for another style and it was no problem for them. They ‘get it’. The prices are great at cost or you can find very nice products at clearance prices too, whatever the budget.

Needed a carpet to cover a section of our basement while adult guests were temporarily staying with us. Found a wide selection of carpet remnants to pick from. Was able to get a 12X16 remnant priced at 149$, there was a 50% off sticker on it so I assumed it was originally 298$. I was wrong, it was 50% off 149$! So with taxes we paid just 81$ for a nice 12 X 16 foot carpet, that looks great by the way, and they even loaded it onto our car and tied it down. I will remember to check here first when Im ready to carpet again.

Jeff patiently listened to my request, and explained options and solutions I could have. I feel very comfortable shopping with the store, and ordered the carpet at reasonable price.Due to unexpected travel, I could not make up the original schedule. Jeff tried hard to find installers during busy season. When installing team came up, I found the color and patten of carpet was different from I originally ordered, Jeff made a prompt replacement and dispatched delivery in a few minutes.Jeff and team thank you very much!

My husband and I just wanted to browse for bathroom tiles as we do a little comparison shopping. The salesman, Mark would just hover around us, which turned us off. Needless to say, we left. Id rather pay a little bit more at a retail store, such as Lowes, and have peace of mind than pushy sales behavior for a seemingly low cost. Its a shame too considering I also wanted to get ideas on other products in the store.

If you picked carpet that only lasted a year thats your fault for buying cheap carpet. I have purchased there a number of time and always tell them what I need for where I need it. Usually high traffic areas. They show me what will work for those places. Always worked out. Ya have to spend a little more for better wearing carpet. Colman sense!!! I will keep shopping there!!!

Jeff is a great manager. Ordered cheap carpet 2 years ago and the seams were bad. Jeff sent out people to repair it twice. When the seams came up the third time they replaced the carpet at no cost. Great customer service. The lady at the front desk was very helpful as well.

I worked with Lydia at the Grant Ave. location. She was extremely helpful and followed up with questions. No question was too hard or too much to ask. She made the experience much better. I look forward to the installation and can’t wait to see the area rug when it comes in.

I have been shopping Lomax for years. Was in need of a different rug to match new paint/furniture so stopped in to take a peek, not expecting to walk out with anything. But there were so many rugs to choose from! Great experience! Staff knowledgable, no pressure, huge selection at reasonable prices. Patrick Lowry helped me pick the perfect area rug and it was such a simple, easy shopping trip. No hassle, staff friendly, they even wrapped it all up and loaded my car. This is an awful company with poor customer service. They sold me an AWFUL carpet with very very poor customer service and refused to change the carpet after I was so unbelievably unhappy. I told them exactly what kind of carpet I needed with two dogs and they sold me something that would never last past a year! There were nails sticking out of the edges that we had to hammer down ourselves still to this day. No one ever came out to fix the installation issues after I called multiple times. The carpets only lasted A YEAR!!! There is supposed to be a warranty however the warranty does not cover anything if they dont see it as a manufacture problem. The carpet is now falling apart in high traffic areas I am pulling fibers out of the carpet and its falling apart in my hands. I keep getting the run around that someone will call me, NO ONE has ever called me I have called and followed up on every single thing!!! I would never recommend a company like this! I dont even mind that I hated the carpet or that it is falling apart I HATE that a company would rather lose future sales then fix the issue!! Just replace the carpet, I would even pay the difference! Now I have to pull up year old carpet and replace it AGAIN!

Installers showed up 5 hours late and blamed the store for mixing up the paperwork. They scraped and damaged every single wall and the bannister in my basement (that I just had painted less than a week prior) while installing the carpet. When I mentioned it he offered to have one of the crew member fix it. Why would I agree to that when I paid a professional to just do my entire house?? The installer nonchalantly explained that it happened because the paint is latex and just comes right off. Which matters not, as they should have been careful not to damage any of my property if they are professional carpenters. The rest of the crew was an hour away for 5 hrs then when they did show up they left 15 mins later with promises to return tomorrow. Lost a whole day (and tomorrow morning) over an installation that should not have exceeded 4-5 hours. As well as money since I have to pay to have my basement repainted.This has been a terrible experience. NEVER has my walls been damaged when getting carpet replaced. I will report this to the store on Monday to be compensated for the damages and delays. Heres to hoping I receive better service.UPDATE: The lead installer discounted the installation cost and had the paint job repaired which was great customer service. The job still spanned 10+ hours but the team was accommodating once I voiced my concerns.Its worth a mention that the installation crew was kind and professional; however I feel had all members been here from the beginning this could have been avoided as more hands would have been on deck to assist.

We have been in and out of lomax trying to decide on what type of hardwood to get to do our home with no one really able to help us make our mind. Then this last time, we met Jeff who was extremely knowledgeable on everything. Answered all our questions and helped us decide and we ended up ordering the wood last week. Mind you, we have been shopping around for almost 6 months now and been to almost every store that sells hardwood in and around northeast philly including this store without anyone really able to help us make up our mind. Jeff who is a manager trully knows his stuff and will help you out if you find him.

Beside the point they have a great collection mr Hritz made my experience of purchasing the tile an amazing one.
