This place is always so random. The hostess made us stand for 20 minutes even though there were free tables. She was sweet but definitely needs training. Despite being busy the food came out fast, and our server was quite nice.The food is above average Diner fare, and its been a spot Ive gone to for years for a quick bite after shows at the 2300 Arena.You never know who you may see here.😄

This diner has many dinner, breakfast and lunch options to satisfy just about any taste you might have. The portions were a good size and the sticky bun I had for dessert didnt overwhelm me with sugar. The prices are very reasonable and what you want from a diner.

Ordered half rotisserie chicken. Little to no flavor and tasted like it was reheated. The chicken wasnt bad just a little dry but the potatoes and soup were delicious.

Everything was very good, food& service. I was there too try to join the restaurant team as a food server. The host or person seating informed me that they werent looking for servers. I had information from one of the food servers that does work there, that they were looking for food servers. So that just left me with the impression that they discriminate as far as what gender they prefer to deliver their wares. In this day and age that mindset seems a bit prehistoric. Theyre really only hurting themselves by not giving me a chance to sell myself to them. And the benefit of having me with my work ethic and love for the job that I do.

The food was fine, but no employees are wearing masks. My friend asked our server to wear her mask when she was at our table (they work in healthcare and need to be extra safe) and she was really rude to us after that. Our food came out lukewarm, she straight up ignored my friend, and only said a few things to me for the rest of the meal. It was bizarre. With current Philly standards, management is allowing a major health code violation. Mediocre diner food isnt worth it unless you want it with a side of covid

OMG, Im a picky biatch when it comes to lasagna, but this, THIS lasagna, is soooo good, makes you wanna slap your mama... Go for the lasagna, and make sure to sit in Nicoles section, because she is one server who is actually friendly, not just the Im only friendly if I think youre going to tip big type friendly.

Absolutely disgusting, I asked for a burger and the bun was white and cold! They should toast their bread, theirs flys everywhere and I definitely wouldn’t recommend going there. They also lacked seasoning, but the customer service is okay. Just make your food better!

Growing up in South Philly, this was referred to as The Diner, even though there were/are many other diners in the area... With good reason. Good food, great selection, and great service.

Great diner! Had the waffles and strawberries, hubby had the cheesesteak. Both were tasty and the waitress was amazing, considerate but not overbearing. Everything in the dessert case looked so delicious had to snap a photo... however the Italian cookies werent as flavorful as I was hoping and the canoli was also a little disappointing.

I always enjoy this dinner. Hit or miss on food, mostly hits. It all depends on how you like your food prepared (hate their macaroni and cheese, glob of flour and noodle, zero cheese flavor). Kids portions are good size.

Quaint little dinner in the south Philadelphia area; friendly staff and good food depending on the time you go. Menu items are extremely limited by quantity and time, but come to my surprise nothing is mentioned on the menu that is provided to you when being seated at the start of your meal. Night staff is extremely unorganized with the host/ manager not deligating to the other member of the staff as a result it caused a wait for over 30mins.

They must have a new cook. Our breakfast was delicious. The Hostess was rather rude she greeted us with two finger sign language. Never opened her mouth got to the table and tapping it for us to sit there. Our waitress was great and very pleasant. Not going back due to the rudeness. Your hostess is your door to a pleasant atmosphere she left us feeling disrespected.

I love the food here, chicken Parma sandwich and fries is my thing. The bakery food is good also, but here its all good to me. I would catch the bus when I moved away from the area, and that ride was like 1hr 10min so theres the proof right there!!! Service is always fast efficient and the staff is very friendly..

This place holds a lot of my personal memories as a child. I am over 40 years old I used to eat here with my grandmother. Sometimes she would say: let’s go to the diner! All times of the day and night! Sometimes wee hours in the morning. When I ride by here I always remember. This place is like a gold mine to me because it holds some fond memories. I haven’t been in there to eat in so many years. I just love the feeling of driving past looking and smiling, sometimes thinking. Miss you NANA Nancy White.

Wish I could leave no stars. Went back after having the below experience. Please check out the photos of the chicken quesadilla which cost $10. I can’t believe a restaurant would really find that acceptable to give to a person let alone charge $10! The chicken looks like it was added after the cheese got hard and it fell out of the tortilla. Ridiculous!There was a mix up this morning when I was ordering my food at 4:15AM. I was told it would take 15 to 20 minutes and in the end I waited well over an hour in the diner waiting for the food to be made. A nice man bringing out the fresh bakery goods was the one who finally said to the cashier that I had been waiting to long. That was when the cashier and sever realized the food was never made. The cashier and sever did the best they could to fix the situation and for that I am thankful. The food was delicious. I had order the open face Ruben, chicken quesadilla, breakfast sandwich, and French toast. Definitely recommend all of the above.** Pumpkin Cheesecake was AMAZINGThe major issue was that the manager who was there the whole time never once spoke to me. He was there the whole time I was waiting and couldn’t be bothered to come over and apologize or say anything. The staff was able to fix the problem with little to no help from him. I know it was early morning but that isn’t an excuse to treat customers differently. Especially when there was a problem. Thank you again to the staff.Food was delicious but the absent minded manager is the reason I give it 3 stars.

Came in for a lunch with my son. Our server was so nice and attentive. Food was excellent! We had burgers and fries and it was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and had an old timey feel to it. Cashier was nice and welcomed us back genuinely. Definitely will be returning. Food is slightly higher priced than most diners. Dessert was excellent!!

Oregon diner staff member was an angel!!! So kind and considerate!! Even offering to cut up her food (my mother is paralyzed on her right side)... Per my mom, the food was delicious!! It’s these tiny pleasures that make the biggest difference and I can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond!!

Waitress was overloaded with tables and they advertise grits but I have not been able to get them, they are always out. Food is pretty good but I was disappointed as I was on my way to the sure and got off 95 to eat here.
