I chose Suburban Solutions after doing a little research. They had the one of the highest ratings in the greater Philadelphia area. This was my first move from my parents’ place into a townhouse, and I felt confident in choosing them. Bobby, Breanna, and Jo were all very kind and responsive the whole way through, and I was informed of every anticipated cost.Very reasonable price for a three hour minimum with a small list of items.When it came to move-in day, three gentlemen (Khalil, Fred, and Mike) showed up right on time and eager to help. I only had one bedroom to move, so they were very fast, but also professional and didn’t leave a single scuff or scratch on anything. It was an absolute pleasure working with Suburban Solutions, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any future moves.

The crew was efficient and pleasant to work with. They were also on time! They cared about my things and even wrapped the furniture before loading onto the truck. They explained clearly what was included in the booking well ahead of the appointment and provided reminders which in turn gave peace of mind during the already stressful situation of moving. We had the most pleasant experience with Suburban Solutions. Our team was professional and handled all our stuff with care. They wrapped all our furniture completely in moving blankets and taped them all around. All our neighbors said they never saw a moving company wrap furniture like that and were impressed. Our on site manager (who was there from start to finish) did a walk through with me of every room before they started and when a room was finished again to have me sign off that everything was done. All the guys that were doing the job were so polite and tried to take boxes out of my hands that I was unloading from my own car. I really can’t say enough about this company. We moved the day of the hurricane and they called in extra help to make sure we were unloaded at the new house before the rain. I hate moving. Dread it. Dont like it. Run from it. My wife and I moved our family of four from Philly to the suburbs in mid-August 2021. It was difficult to hire movers. Suburban Solutions was the fourth company I called and they had availability. So I booked them. I was apprehensive about the quality of Suburban Solutions. Never used them before and my last minute call to line up movers smacked of desperation. But man, did we luck out! The three-man crew was punctual, courteous, and careful. Their bedside manner was outstanding. Moves are extraordinarily stressful to people and it makes them behave badly. When they arrived the morning of August 20, I am fairly certain I was being completely insufferable. They got me to chill out and the rest of the day was blue skies. We had a huge amount of fragile stuff, especially an antique curio (extremely delicate, fragile, well over 120-year-old, and heavy). Everything arrived in perfect order. Nothing was damaged. I’ve used Suburban Solutions a handful of times over the years and have never been disappointed. This time in particular was truly a great experience, as it was a challenging move that required the guys to haul furniture up my steep driveway plus the steps into the house. They were 100% professional, while also keeping an incredibly positive and light hearted attitude. We used suburban solutions to move to a house in the suburbs and out of the city. The quote they gave us was a great price, and accurate compared to what the total ended up being. We were moving a 2 bedroom + apartment from Ardmore, PA (suburban Philadelphia) to southern Sussex Cty, DE (Bethany area) with an intermediate stop at our storage unit. We had heard a number of moving company horror stories so we were a bit apprehensive. From our first contact by phone with Suburban Solutions, things could not have gone more smoothly. Im sorry I cant recall her name, but she patiently walked me through each room to get an accurate inventory for the estimate. Within a day I received a very competitive estimate which we accepted. Between then and moving day, we received regular communication from Bobby. We had to update our inventory a bit which he took care of. We got messages the day before move and the morning of with timing. The moving team (Mike, Chris & Dante) arrived on time and got right to work. They were very careful with our belongings, efficiently wrapping and loading everything both from the 8th fl. apartment and then the storage unit. At the destination, they unloaded, unwrapped and placed everything where we requested including the 2nd. floor. They were friendly, helpful, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. There was not one surprise or glitch throughout the entire process.Moving is a stressful time but I could not recommend Suburban Solutions highly enough.

I cannot recommend Suburban Solutions enough if you have an upcoming move. Everything from getting a quote to moving day was easy breezy! Fred and TJ were incredible to work with on moving day, and to say they completed my move fast was an understatement (I truly think it was record timing). While moving can be chaotic, Suburban Solutions led by Bobby were EXCELLENT from start to finish. Pre-move, their online portal allowed me to control my move costs by changing out/editing the list of items to keep costs in check. I ended up moving some items to storage facility on my own along the way that allowed me to drive down costs and Bobby to decide how many men were truly needed for the final job. I value transparency and their portal allowed my final cost to match my estimate, which was a great and seamless experience.On the day of the move, they sent an awesome, professional team of 6 movers and two trucks. They were fun to be around and made us comfortable. We only had one item break (lamp) and it was special to us, but their team leader came right to us and apologized and we appreciated it very much. They got the house done in 3 hours and were ahead of schedule. Unloading at new house took less time. It was just awesome and I plan to use them again soon (we are renting until we find our next home). These guys are the real deal. Professional, fun, and totally fair. It was the best part of our entire move experience.

A crew of nine showed up on time the day of our moving - after a quick inspection of our house – led by Chuck, the team leader - they moved out all boxes and furniture in little more than 2 hours. Upon arriving to our new house, they swiftly and responsively distributed all items wherever we indicated, taking very heavy furniture up to a tight staircase to our second floor. They also collected and disposed some unwanted items for a small fee. All this while always smiling and being extremely polite. No missing items. We have already arranged to hire them again to move some furniture into different rooms when the upcoming renovation is completed. Excellent experience.

****UPDATE- we realized we had a glass standing lamp cracked and damaged later. It’s been pulling teeth getting a hold of the company for any pay back (I’m talking weeks). And even when I finally did get a hold of them- they still haven’t paid. Given their policy, it’s not much money but it’s in the principle at this point. We had packed all the boxes but needed the furniture, lamps etc doneWe were moving from a 3 BR condo in PA to a 2100 sq foot bi level in JerseyThey packed up the house in PA in 2.5 hours and drove 2 hours to NJ with 30 min lunch stop, and then unpacked in 2 hours. Whole thing was so easy and seamless. We had a lot of heavy fragile pieces and they got everything in and rebuilt perfectly.Would 100% use again and recommend

One of the them packed the kitchen for me, and after a 10 hour drive and unpacking I can confirm nothing broke. While the other two disassembled and wrapped my furniture. I honestly dont think they could have done the job any quicker while maintaining the quality of work they did. Parking is always difficult even with a permit yet the movers worked through it. It was also raining but the movers took it in stride and took extra precautions for our furniture and also our floors.If I ever move again, I would use them without hesitation.

I can not recommend Suburban Solutions. The scheduling went well but the move itself was done very half-heartedly. They came with uhaul boxes, did not label anything, tried to pack breakable items without packing materials. We had to watch their every move otherwise they would stuff thinks into whatever they could find ie lamps into a chest of drawers. On delivery they reassembled beds incorrectly and with the wrong hardware, which they had trouble finding. I had to disassemble everything. On many occassions hardware was lost for assembling furniture. Boxes were crushed, delicate figurines broken, some before they were even boxed because the packers wer not careful and attentive. Samples attached. Simply put - worst move ever, and we have done alot.

We used Suburban Solutions a little over a month ago for our move and they are great!First of all, my boyfriend and I have never used a moving company nor did we anticipate using one for this move. However, my boyfriend’s mother wanted to do something special and gifted us with paying for a mover for our move. She told us to find a mover, make the arrangements and she would take care of the bill. So without any knowledge of picking a mover we Googled moving companies in the area and looked at the reviews. Suburban Solutions was the only company that had all great reviews. With that being said, we filled out an online questionnaire on their website and someone called within 24 hours and we made the arrangements and scheduled the move. It was extremely easy. The initial person I talked to (her name was Jo) asked me all about our move and passed that information onto the sales rep (I think his name was Bobby). Within 24 hours the sales rep gave us a quote and said that if we had anymore information about our move to let them know as soon as we can to adjust to quote accordingly. A couple of times we called and texted with questions and adjustments to our inventory and every time they got back to us right away with the answers.As for the move itself, it went great. We had Mike, Matt, and Kevin. They showed up on time, were super nice, helpful, and extremely professional. We tried to have everything ready for them when they arrived and they were completely accommodating. The lead, (Mike or Matt, I can’t remember which was was the lead, but I remember they are brothers...lol) was extremely responsible and a great communicator. Kevin was awesome too, he had a lot of great ideas on how to maneuver our more difficult items to get them out of our apartment. Overall the dynamic of the team was awesome and we would definitely have them move us again! When the move was completed, we were given the bill. It in fact came in under the quoted price, which was awesome! Suburban Solutions is definitely the way to go if you need to move. The great reviews that they have received are definitely correct. They took the stress out of moving. Thank you Suburban Solutions for your time and your hard work!!!!

Moved locally (15 miles) on 30th May 2020. Inventory - 7 big pieces and 14 small pieces of furniture and 15 XL moving boxes.An amazing 5-star team here that finished my job 1.5 hours earlier than estimated quote.Providing estimate based on inventory sent over email, consistently sending reminders, following up regularly about changes and sending tips for packing things - everything about your work here is automated online from beginning till the very end of job completion.The moving staff was equally impressive. 3 very strong men arrived exactly on time and worked non-stop by wrapping up all the furniture into blankets, tapes and plastic like professionals and loaded/unloaded everything with a consistent smile and humility. I didnt have any scratch or breakage on my stuff.I would definitely recommend this team for any work because they are highly professional in all the aspects of their work.

The movers broke a lamp while still packing the truck, unapologetic, nor recorded it as I found out later, got into accident with all of my things, then delivered to me a mirrored nightstand that WAS perfect w cracked door, side board with broken doors that were jammed, box spring shredded as they put my tv on it and it sunk into the mesh, then dumped a 500 lb safe that I paid for them to move into the middle of a storage room that I now cannot move and cannot get into the cabinets it is in front of...still waiting 2 weeks later for someone from the “corporate office” to call me back... terrible disappointment and so upset my favorite things were damaged and they have done nothing to even show concern.... DO NOT use this company... dreadful and stressful experience.Update as of 11/9...the office team has made good.. repaired what they could, apologetic, has restored my confidence in the company...after sales service, thank you!

I cant say enough good things about the crew that showed up for the move. 3 very personable young brothers, early by 15 minutes. They just hit it and worked like a machine. I wish I had their names and could have shook their hands but with Covid 19 and my wife undergoing chemo we needed to keep our interaction to the minimum. They were very aware and considerate in that regard. I kidded them that I wish I had made a video of their performance for your website or YouTube. 8:15 to about 10:30 with a stop at a storage place on the way. Like I said, I wish I had their names so I could drop them. Worth every penny.

A team from suburban solutions helped me move from one apartment to another in Philadelphia last weekend in the midst of all of the craziness going on right now. They followed all of the CDC recommended precautions, like wearing masks and gloves, and still managed to be extremely efficient in the move. The entire process was finished by the early afternoon and they were extremely kind and professional throughout. This is my second time using suburban solutions and I will surely be using them if I have to move again!!
