Specifically wanted to pickup a trailer at this location. Andrew assured me it would be there. Received email and text it would actually be a half hour away at a different location. Called to find out what was up and ended up on hold 3 times for OVER 10 minutes. Spoke to supervisor David and he was no help, actually had no problem with switched location or being on hold endlessly.

Prompt and friendly service. Professional check in by Steve and Aaron. Facility is well staffed, stocked and easy to do business with when moving.

This location is very slow, I call ahead to be sure to inform them that I need a U-box and the time I will be there but sure enough every time they dont have my U-Box ready. I deliver U-boxes for customers all of the time and this is ridiculous that I spend over an hour at this place for no reason but there pure laziness and lack of knowhow!

I absolutely do not recommend this place.. Drove all my things to this storage only for them to tell me they gave away my reservation and when I wanted to buy a different one they said I wouldnt be able to access it that day. The guy was on his phone watching NBA while I was trying to get a different unit. Wish I had read the reviews beforehand.

Steve is a stand up gentleman. His hospitality is great, and he displays great patience with the guests he service. I dont just observe how Im treated, but how everyone else who is patronizing a business is treated.Thanks Steve!

Had the worse experience, they gave my reservations to the wrong person and then told me I wasn’t who I was even with my driver’s license. The manager was very unprofessional and rude, tried to make it my fault. Staff was under the influence as well, I would never recommend anyone to use their services. If no star was possible that’s what they would’ve got.

Unreliable Uhaul location and terrible customer services! We booked the reservation online and also confirmed with the regional scheduler over the phone. When we came in, they said they could not honor our reservation and made us to return the truck by 7am, instead of our original scheduled time of 11am. They were rude and unwilling to accommodate even though our reservation was correct and all within the 24 hours period advertised by Uhaul! They were just being greedy and rude!I will take my business and money somewhere else!

Rented a 26’ truck from them. Went to go pick it up an hour before my movers were supposed to arrive. Of course they didn’t have the truck available and told me to I had to go to a different store 20 minutes away to get another truck. They also couldn’t provide me a mask in order to take a Lyft.Read the reviews before this, very poor management and I’d highly recommend using a different location.

This wasnt the greatest experience. My grandma had a unit under my name. We both caught covid and called the facility a week before notifying that we wouldnt be able to cancel our unit in person. the representative suggested we talk to the manager and he would try and work something out for us. we arrive on the day that our payment is due since this was the 14th day after we initially caught covid. we talked to the manager and told him our situation. he told us thats too bad and to pay for the next month even though we had called and even arrived the day our payment was due. he charged us for the following month when we tried to cancel. we tried to avoid this situation to the best of our ability since we arent the most affluent people. the manager said we couldnt do anything about that and told us to go away.

I had a storage unit at this facility for a long time, almost 10 years, going back before it was U-Haul. Access is easy and convenient. Very secure facility. I only had two issues over that time. The first one when it changed over to U-haul and they made some adjustments to the locker numbers they got my info mixed up with another persons and they tried to say i wasnt paying for my stuff and locked me out, but that was eventually resolved. The other thing is a little more of an ongoing thing...the rodents...anytime i would go in there and move stuff in and out there was always evidence of rodent activity. Now given the location of this facility id say thats to be expected, at least a little bit. I never had any issues with damaged stuff because of it and they do their best to mitigate it I guess.

The units are a nice size and they are kept clean the only thing that I didnt like for the employees it was right I was bothering you.

This is one of the worse U-Hauls in the entire company. The wait is so long and they really charged my card for more than what it was it was supposed to be; so not only are the unpleasant, unprofessional, but makes things difficult. The employee when I went in the day to pick up the van was on his personal cellphone and tried to hide it with his mask. Took my card and kept looking at the numbers, which has put me on edge and I had to cancel my card. The manager doesn’t help at all and just seems to flag off issues. The wait on the phone is even super long. I am super disappointed with this location because it’s a great location, but it needs work. A location that actually needs an overhaul.

Buyer/user beware. This facility charges two different rates for the times you book your vehicle rental. They have a rate for weekdays and a higher, separate rate for Fridays and Saturdays. With no compromise.

Very disappointed, made reservations for 10:00 am arrived at 11:00 am and was told i could rent a truck with no gas because they rented my van. I was told initially that i had a 2 hour window before cancelation. They did not Reserve my van for 2 hours. The I was was redirected twice, had to go to two other locations, to only end up with a truck with less than a quarter tank of gas at 2;00 pm and was told i had to have the truck back before 7:00 pm. All of the attendants need service training, especially the woman at Compass Storage. I am giving 1 star because I cant give zero star.

Came to this location to inquire about renting storage space. Three men sitting at the counter..All three of them tried passing me off to the other..Not another customer in the store..I guess they didn’t want my money so I took my business to someone who did.

Terrible Customer service & the Employees werent professional at all. I wouldnt recommend renting a van or trucks from this location. Also I was charged (2) different rates which didn’t make sense at all. Terrible business, Never again!!

If I could give it a 0 I would. I tried to return my truck which ended up taking multiple hours over the course of 2 days because the website logged that I got a different truck than the one that I actually was given (Not the issue). I was then called 4 or 5 times within the next week with them asking when I would return the truck (annoying but they would remember my situation when I reminded them). And 1.5 months later I got a charge on my card for having the truck for 3 extra days when I actually returned it a day early even though it took 2 days to return it.

I would give this place 0 stars if i could. worst customer service i have ever received and never been so degraded as a female in a business before. The manager “David Yogbah” was so disrespectful and rude and wouldn’t even listen to one word i had to say he just kept talking over me and completely ignoring me and talking to my boyfriend. He acted as if i wasn’t even in the room. I was told on the phone 15 minutes prior to me arriving that i could come back down there and pickup items i never received the day before because they were missing out of multiple items i picked up. When i got there he was completely rude right off the bat and basically was just trying to push me out and didnt want to hear anything i had to say. went on about “i don’t know who you spoke to and we don’t just give away items for free”. It wasn’t for free, it was items i already paid for and did not receive with the rest of the package i ordered. Then went on to other customers and completely would not listen to me or even try to fix the issue as a manager. Never been so disrespected. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was very upset that they were roaches in my unit. When I inquired I was told that they may have came from someones unit. I bet they did...Had to get my stuff out fast but there was no reimbursement for having to buy new clothes as I didnt want to take those bugs with me to someone elses home. Beware of the roaches here!!!! I would have scored less if it was an option.

Most incompetent, ignorant, and unprofessional staff you can imagine. Got into aggressive verbal confrontations with 3 employees including the MANAGER while simply trying to move out of my unit and end my rental which they refused to do. If youve see Chapelle show skit Pop Copy this is the real life version of that.

Manager David Yogboh was very rude and did not try to even look up my reservation.I received an email for a free 1 month storage, I called the location and even made the reservation for the 1 month free storage, and the manager would not service me.Instead he would help the customers behind me, telling me to wait even though I arrived first.I made the reservation and made sure that I qualified for the 1 month free storage, I drove one hour to the location only to be denied.Horrible service, and false advertising.Reference number to my dispute/complaint is#86135921

Tried to force me to take a vehicle with malfunction electrical system, when i asked for a different vehicle they refused to give me one despite multiple vehicles on the lot outside, and ultimately made me late for a funeral. Do not go here.

Thats a negative star. Very rude and unprofessional. Does not offer support or suggestive advise to inexperienced customers. Do not offer pre-inspections, however the customer is responsible for the condition of their vehicles once they are returned. Take pictures and time stamped videos for your evidence.

Reasonable rates for rental trucks. I rented a truck to pick up a loveseat and the whole thing lasted about 20 minutes. The check-in process is a bit of a pain. It took longer to check-in than it did to get the loveseat.

We booked a truck and some supplies for our move weeks in advance online then walked a couple of weeks before the date to pick up the moving boxes we had ordered (and already paid for) but the two guys at the counter couldnt find the order. They said we had to call customer service to get it ironed out. I tried to give them a chance to redeem their customer service by asking if they would be able to call on our behalf while we were at the desk with them. They said they didnt really do that sort of thing. I responded by asking if they can cancel our order instead. This brought no alarm to them and they suddenly became unable to stand up and had to immediately sit down behind the counter rather than power through this failure of a business transaction. I think we kept our cool pretty well given the circumstances of being so close to the move date and suddenly having our rental Agreement disappear despite it being paid for.

This is the best experience Ive had at any uhaul or truck rental location ever! Speaking with some experience here, talk to Anette, she is the best!!!

The two employees that assisted me were very helpful and friendly. I rented a trailer. They did a great job of hooking it up and went out of their way to ensure everything would work well with my van.

Very poor customer service. 7 people in line, 2 employees behind the counter, 1 taking his time without a care in the world on the computer the other employee scrolling through social media on his phone. The only enjoyable employees were the ones breaking their backs to get the trucks/trailers ready. Took 1.5 hours to pick up a already reserved trailer.

Ive rented with them several times. They are always polite and easy to work with. Even if I had a problem, they are quick to help rectify it. Id recommend them anytime.

Was 4th in line and waited 45 minutes. The system is unbelievably slow, and myself and the 2 people in front of me all had reservations. The person at the front of the line was a walk-in. Two people behind the desk and only one was working.Very frustrating experience overall. Would recommend going to literally any other Uhaul provider or bringing a lawn chair for your wait.

Horrible horrible service. They rented me a truck with broken glass and a dirty sleeping bag inside. I filed a claim and when I confronted the manager he took no accountability and said I hadnt filed a claim and suggested my boyfriend(who picked up the truck) had maybe used a sleeping bag or broke glass in the back of the 10ft truck before dropping it at my house 20 min later(the drive from uhaul to my house)..... Absolutely hideous. They deserve no business I will never use them again. Dont waste your money or time operating with them.

Terrible place. Truck had no passenger mirror after I had to walk a quarter mile to get it. Use Penske next time.

Ive had a unit there for 3 years, before they were UHaul. Was happy with the service until they - for no reason - decided to remove my 24 hour access. They cant produce my contract where I had that access included in my unit, and havent produced anything that says that I dont have that access. Now they want to charge me for a service that Ive been getting all this time. Ive filed a formal complaint at UHaul corporate after not being able to resolve this with the management at this location.

Finding the Uhaul location was a bit confusing due to it having an address on S 20th Street, when in fact it is located behind The Home Depot at the Quarter Master Shopping Plaza.

The manager of this place Gave me a lot of trouble to rent a truck from him. He first refused to give me a truck I had reserved because he didnt trust if being it back in time. He based this on nothing and was quite rude. I had to contact the corporate office to force him to rent to me. It was ridiculous.

Don’t do what I did and ignore the user reviews.If I could give this place zero stars I would. Literally laughed out of the store for asking why I can rent a truck and trailer online, but can’t get the ball hitch which is ESSENTIAL for towing the trailer!

SLOW STAFF AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICEThey took a long time to get the paperwork even though I checked in online which said it would take less time for pickup. Then when we went to get the trailer they had the wrong number written down. They had issues correcting this because the trailer wasnt even in their system. After that they messed the paperwork up 2 more times. The center seemed understaffed but also the workers didnt really seem to know what they were doing. Everything took a long time. It took about an HOUR to receive the trailer and have it attached because of the staff. Reserved 12 furniture pads, received 10 pads.

This was my worst experience with Uhaul. The Uhaul staff made a clerical error on my contract by putting two contradictory items. As a result I got charged for extra days so I submitted an objection. David Yogbeh the manager at the branch called me in the AM. He was condescending, very insulting, and would not stop speaking once to allow me to explain the situation. He was immediately rude, loud, and aggressive. He accused me of lying and insulted my intelligence by saying I did not review the contract correctly. He then questioned why I would need a truck for three days citing that it was impossible to need a moving truck for three days. None of this was relevant to him at all. He would not stop speaking and never let me explain my grievance at all. When I asked to speak to his boss he said I have no boss. I am the boss It took me asking him fifteen times before he told me his name during which he never stopped rambling and repeating the same insulting commentary. He should not be a manager. He lacks any skill set in interacting with humans. I have used uhaul several times in the city but this is the WORST uhaul in the city. Checking other reviews makes it clear that DAVID YOGBEH is a terrible, unprofessional, condescending and rude GM.

Went to deliver a U-box. Was sent to a remote parking lot and waited 2 hours. Called and walked to the office repeatedly. Because when I would call, without answering, they would hang up the phone.

Absolute disgrace. Staff can’t handle their basic duties. Don’t waste your time.

24 hour access is great. Most of the time the customer service people are great.

Absolutely incompetent staff. There were two people working a long line of customers, and they could not look like they cared less about their jobs. A few customers even walked out because they got fed up with the wait! I love U-haul, but choose this particular location with caution.

This place is terrible. Customer Service sux first n foremost. Ive had indoor climate controlled storage for over a year. Rats got into my unit n crapped n urinated all over our beds n a bunch of our other belongings. N we had no food in our unit. But we did have a few gallons of water n some flavored 6 packs of water. Which they chewed giant holes into n then most of the water leaked all over. The agent Monica said she would inform manager David the very next day. I never recieved a single phone call back. Secondly. The pull down unit door started to close itself for no reason. Myself n several family members n friend have had the door heavily clunk on to our heads. Arms n back. The only way to fix it is wait 48 hrs come back n wait till they decide to fix it. N dont let me get started on how they park all the trucks snuggly up to the wall n entrances n large bay door. On the South Side of the Building. So u have no way to get you or your stuff in n out. It gets really redundant to keep going back to the same agents n Managers every other day to get this rectified. I would never rent storage from here again

The front counter girls are very unprofessional. Something got the two to start snickering as I came in.As if I were the butt of a joke. Even till the end they came off as dismissive, like do you want anything else. They didnt even say goodbye.
