I like this store mostly because its so close. But I do LOVE the bakery. They have the most delicious cakes 🎂. They are beautiful and tasty. I can easily say some of the best cake ive ever had. I purchase one when ever a friend/family birthday comes up.Ive been meaning to try the food they make, its right by the bakery, always smells so good.

El Super is always stock with vegetables at a affordable price. I buy my veggies for the week with $40. When other places I spent double the price for the same amount of vegetables. They have yummy bread, cream, and different kind of cheeses.

Huge selection, good prices overall fantastic experience.

Horrible experience when in there on a Sunday the lions were crazy management you need to open all cash registers during the weekends for you know the weekends are the most busiest days I walked out if my basket there

Honestly Im a very disappointed customer. I paid $ 33.00 for just 3 lbs of carne asada and the pieces were very thin.

This store allows people to walk in and be inside without masks.Security guy is way to busy talking to female workers and drinking stuff than telling people to wear mask.Not a single worker let this people know to wear their mask.Line as long due to having 2 cashiers at busy times.No social distancing due to that.I miss this location being a Ralphs, if it wasnt cuz my closest ralphs is by the freeway and traffic is a nightmare to go there, i will go there all of the time and avoid this nightmare of a store.I will be reporting them to the health department.Edit - This happen 1.14.21 around 4pm pacific.One patron no wearing a mask throughout the whole store all the way to line, check out cashier and exit.Still, store allows employees (kid talking to another kid refilling the milk without a mask) And again, employees and security guard allowing a couple and kid coming without a masks.Oh and this “supermarket” doesn’t have straws. God I miss Ralph’s. 8-28-21This store still not enforcing mask wearing. 9/10. 3 clients not wearing a mask and an employee wearing it as a chin guard. Also same employee that was talking to the kid fixing the mill on 8/28. He must be a family member of the manager or something. Reporting this store to the LA Health again.

The staff is usually friendly and polite. This store does not have a wide selection of items. They do provide quality items.

I work here the service is great unlike the phone service. But if youre looking for any kind of products come check us out our job is if you arent satisfied we arent either we are trying our very best you get you items safely and sanitary.

Food to go nice people, but the produce section young employee drops tomatoes all over the floor, picks them up and puts them back on display box to be purchased .not even a clue the tomatoes should be cleaned for consumers use.Wonder what kind of training employees get. Hope manager reads this rating.

If you come here to buy tons of groceries and have an evening to spend is the right place.If you want a few items and have limited time, forget about it. Came to buy milk and water, but was immediately frustrated to see lines of carts to the top and only 2 lines open, I saw 4 of other people sharing my frustration and leaving. Probably single shoppers are not as important as the ones buying by the cart...

They only had three cashiers open and every line had at least seven people in it

This store has always been extremely organized and very clean. Ive been to other EL SUPERS that dont even compare to this locations. I applaud the workers at this site for taking such pride in where they work.

At El super market i shop every week for all the fresh vegetables and meats.

Super clean spacious store. Great produce & prepared food options. Deli & meat counter are always noticably maintained better than other local area stores. Bakery has rows of choices of all your favs. Before & after Covid this store has been up to par. Even down to the restrooms.

Horrible experience. Had to go back to store because ELMER from meat Dept charged me wrong on several items. When Maria Mngr spoke to him to fix it. He never directed himself to me or acknowledged much less apologize. He was upset even THOUGH it was his mistake. I Was not upset when I got there. Understood mistakes happen, I didnt get or expect any extra compensation for my time and my gas But certainly NOT A bad attitude.Very upsetting!

My mom told me about this store and Im so glad she did. She mentioned that they have great deals on produce every Wednesday. For example they have cucumbers 4 for $1.00, oranges 3 pounds for $1.00 bananas 3 pounds for $1.00. I dont know of any other market sells produce at such a low price. I highly recommend this market.

Prices are very reasonable. I switched from Superior to El Super because Superior went way down in quality produce but way up in prices. I never shop there any more and I live very close by. El Super is a little out of the way but I am willing to make the drive because of the quality and prices. Thank you El Super. Good management too. You just need to get on the people in the prepared food court. The women just stand there and look at you for 10 minutes before serving (all except the very tiny girl) she is super sweet and always has a kind word to say. I wish I could remember her name right now. Anyways, she is always pleasant and helpful and keeps me coming back.

Management dosent listen to complaints Ive complained about not having enough cashiers and long lines. Management is sitting in their office, instead of opening another cash register. Go to Northgate market, on Telegraph, way better management.

This El Super is way better than the one in Commerce. This El Super is always clean and organize. The staff seems friendly. This place is not as packed at all. There is a good amount of parking.

Some necessity items can be found here but not a great selection though. The produce section is ok but again, not much to choose from. Some prepared food is good but nothing worth going out of your way.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I always have problems here. Things are always mislabeled and prices wrong. California has a law against bait and switch this place doesnt seem to care. Their employees never used to speak English but they do have a few now. Basic math seems to escape most employees. Ive heard stories about rats running through the meat area but have yet to see any myself. Dont go here unless you have no other options. Going hungry is almost a better option.

This store is literally always closing early. I literally live down the block and have gone and they told me the store closed 10 minutes before 11 and they claimed it was bc of daylight savings, I work at a grocery store and never heard of that. Then we went today before 8pm and they said theyre closed, 3 hours before theyre supposed to close. Whats the deal here.

Food course experience is not too good I have been eating there for the past week Im from out of town they serve rice and beans very dry, they wait until it finished instead of putting new fresh ones.

Good place to shop good deals on seafood meat department

I mostly come for cucumbers, tomato, chilly, soy, rose tea. Some things are inexpensive which is why I come here. Some things might be a bit pricier.

Love this store, one of the few supermarkets in the area. The store has a great selection, is always clean and customer service is superb. There is also a food court with a wide array of selections.

Nothing like smelling the smell of a Mexican market as you walk in. This place had taken over the old Ralphs building in Pico Rivera on Slauson and Passons. Its ok you can find most items here at whatever they cost. Its a market their in the business of selling goods for profit if not they wouldnt be in business. On the other hand it was interesting seeing the union reps trying to deter shoppers from shopping here. Been there since havent seen those reps anymore, they mustve gave up.

Shopping was great, fresh food stocked and other items made easily available.Their hot food bar was great as well.

The store is good but the reason why I put w stars instead of 4. Is because my mom got a tamale she said it was awful. They never have fried fish ready. I always leave upset.
