This pikesville Giant has gone down totally since they closed the Giant on Milford mill. The service sucks and the shelves are hardly ever stocked. The customers that come to the store are definitely from the other location. People coming in with pjs, robes and slippers. No class at all
Clean, well-stocked, good variety. I went specifically for organic dairy. They have a reasonable variety. I reserved 1 star because nearby Wegmans is larger with even more variety.
I like shopping at Giant. The clerks are helpful and kind. I only had an issue with one of the pharmacist. I told the manager...I wont use this particular pharmacy but the pharmacy in another Giant I will try. Thanks Giant
Food was fresh. Delivered within the time window. They did a great job of keeping me updated. #Divasaidso
No cart sanitizer available. Went into store to get hand wipes, empty. Few employees covered nose with mask.
Great clean and friendly store. Restrooms isle everything was stocked and in order..
Actually went to GIANT foods. I went round and around trying to find things. The rice I usually purchase was no where to be found.
Home delivery service for years. Thanks Peapod! Too bad Peapod and Giant have changed and not for the better. Giant has had major tech problems and delivery men that dump the groceries and run. There is NO delivery customer service.
I signed up with Peapod when they came to this area in 2015. On the plus side, theyve expanded the delivery hours as their customer base has grown. I was hesitant about letting someone else pick my produce and meat, but over the last nearly three years I have to say Ive been more satisfied than not. The biggest frustration (up until this summer, but Ill get to that) is the out of stock items. You can opt into a substitution option with the ability to reject something you dont like on a line item basis. Not all items have substitutes, so sometimes its time for dinner and Im scrambling. Over the past eight months or so there has been a great decrease in out of stock items, but there has also been an increase in wrong items sent. Notifying Peapod through their app results in a refund of the price of the item and you get to keep the item. Now that frustration: in the first two years or so, I picked a delivery window and for the most part the driver arrived within that window. Someone from the local dispatch office calls if they are going to be late, but this rarely happened. As they have added customers, it seems theyve tried adding more stops and not more trucks and drivers; consequently they miss their delivery window about one out of four times. If that means you cant be there to get your groceries, you have to reschedule as they no longer permit unattended deliveries. The last time this happened I couldnt wait for the driver as I had an appointment and I was referred to the national customer service line. After being on hold for 25 minutes, they rescheduled my delivery and gave me $20 off my order for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. But I would rather have had my groceries delivered within the time frame. In all, I like Peapod, like most of the drivers who come to my house, and am generally satisfied with the range and availability of products. Its free to sign up and if you dont like it, you never have to order again. I really hate shopping and lugging heavy groceries up the stairs, so its perfect for me.
Had to drop Peapod and use Instacart. Peapod become unreliable due to the Corona19 pandemic.
First time trying and Liked the service- only inconvenience was being charged twice because I updated my order. Suggestion- use debit instead of credit option if you can!
It has a good selection of groceries
Good delivery
