Second time coming here. I ordered the Bamyeh stew for dine in and lamb chops to go due to time constraints. The plates were hot. The lamb chops look awesome. Ordered iced tea to wash that down. The menu lists gluten free items which is good for me. They have sanitizer on the tables For COVID issue. I do recommend
WOW......excellent find! Have driven by this place for years and finally decided to stop by and have dinner. Im a huge fan of Persian food and this place is phenomenal. Had the Ghormeh Sabzi (Persian Stew), which was absolutely incredible. The place is family owned and is impeccably clean as well. If youre ever in the mood to try something different then a trip to Rumi Persian Grill is a must. They have a little bit of everything on their menu so youll have plenty of amazing dishes to choose from. Ill definitely be back soon!
Fantastic food, I am Iranian born and raised by a woman who took pride in her kitchen . No matter the setting she set her standards high. With that said this Resturant take the same pride and delivers the most authentic savors of my beloved country with rich cultural flavors . I would highly recommend that you get the Tadig with a stew ( Ghorme Zabzi) and most definitely try the delicious stews that are accompanied with basmati rice. There traditional deserts ( ice creams, folude and bastani) is the BOMB . I couldn’t stop getting goosebumps to how it brought back so many fond memories as a child back in Iran and having this so easily accessible. This little treasure called Rumi is one of the best spots in south Florida for introducing your pallet to authentic, ethnic Persian dishes . Dishes beyond our traditional kabobs . For that we have what we called back home kababies. This is a resturant not a kababi 😃 also I would have really loved it if they did play more upbeat and traditional Persian music . More modern . Anyhow, enjoy and we will always come back!
Extra delicious. The house made hummus was light, fluffy & delicious. The falafel was crisp and nicely seasoned, served with tahini, hummus & a very nice side salad. The lamb chops were juice, the kababs excellent.Only down sides...no coffee and no cushiony chairs (they are very hard wood!).

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to youngsters and adults alike. Everything we ate was fresh and deliciousWe visited for lunch after driving back from the keys .. when we were going back to our hotel in south beach .. it was our way and decided to eat kabob and We were delighted by the authentic Persian main course. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive for a Persian restaurant.We ordered salad shirazi for appetizer and it was delightful with minty flavor .. I ordered soltani and my husband ordered berg kabob ..We enjoyed our meals very much and after that we followed it with a wonderful cup of Persian ice cream. the owner seemed very warm and thoughtful. He came around to check on our experience and seemed to be authentically engaged. And the kind lady was also so sweet and very welcoming..I’d love to visit again .Id recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or a partner.God bless & peace ✌️ from Jersey 🌺
The food was so good I almost cry. Been looking for a real Persian Restauran and I drove a hour to find this amazing place. The rice, the lamb, the bread just delicious. My daughter is vegetarian and enjoy the food. I will go back soon. A++++ service.

No indoor dining. Just a few tables outside which we did and the food was fresh and spectacular! Salmon was so moist, dill rice was perfection and saw huge orders going out for uber eats delivery. Definitely a great find on US-1 south miami.

Delicious food, best kebob berg and kebob koobide. Authentic and true to what you can get in Iran. During our stay in Miami for two weeks we tried their foods twice. Once with sultani kebob and once with sultani joojeh. Their joojeh is so good too. I will come here again whenever Im in Miami
I could make a dinner from the appetizers, but dont miss the lentil soup and the split pea soup. Very good, friendly service.
My wife and I have gotten to-go from here twice and have been pleased by the quality and quantity of the food. Not many middle eastern places in the pinecrest/palmetto bay area, so if you are in the mood for persian, definitely give Rumi a try. Also call them if ordering to go, avoid third party apps. Support local business by going directly to local business, if you can.

Friendly staff and prompt service. Nice family style resturant. One order of the Rumi special mixed kebabs was enough for 4 persons. We had the eggplant appetizer (kashk badamjan) the flavor of the eggplant was retained with out being lost in the walnuts. Falafel appetizer dry. Some Persian bread would have been nice rather than pita bread.
SO delicious!! Every dish weve tried has been very good, though I tend to always go for the stews. Fesenjan is also delightful if youve never tried it!
This place is excellent for Persian food. I went there with a coworker of mine and we had a really good time. Fantastic lunch specials. I had the chicken kabob and it was very delicious. The server we had was also really nice and friendly. I plan to revisit again for lunch to try a different meal!

My husband and I had very high expectations when we decided to visit Rumi Persian Grill.We visited on a Friday night and since the restaurant is fairly new there was only one other table with patrons. The space is very nice, the staff very attentive and very clean, hence the 3 star rating.The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking in the front. In regards to the food, I would give this restaurant 2 stars.The two different stews that we ordered were extremely bland, bland to the point that I was in shock, I found my food completely tasteless. I tried adding spice to my stew but it just did not work.We had a frozen rose ice dessert that was delicious, I really enjoyed this dessert.The service was good and the restaurant is very clean.I truly wanted to love this restaurant because I enjoy Persian cuisine, however; Rumi Persian Grill will not be a restaurant to which we will be returning.
The food was very delicious 😋 to go but cold. Thank god for a microwave. When I warmed my chicken and rice so yummy and my two baklava but $ 23 is a lil pricey for what I got. The place is very nice and clean. The staff was nice 👍 but this won’t be My first choice for takeout 🥡 next time. Maybe once a year if I have the money 💰
I went to the establishment today on Dec-21-2019 for lunch...it was me,my lady friend and her daughter....the experience was great...good food,good atmosphere and best of all I share my time with friends..can not forget the friendly staff,Ashley was our waitress and it is too bad for me,she is so cute but Im too old to ask her for a date...lol..dam old ageIt was not that expensive either,all three of us, the bill came out to be $45.00...Good place to go
This small restaurant in Pinecrest is a gem. I always have my favorite the chicken Kabob. Delicious moist chicken served with really great rice and a salad. The owner assures me she uses the very best ingredients and I believe it. The service is always good and friendly. I like this place so much that if I dont have time to sit down to eat I order take out! Highly recommend.
Good food. We have visited this place on a Sunday evening. The kubideh was alright, the eggplant was a bit bland. Service is good. Decor needs a professional touch and they play Spanish guitar music which I thought was a bit strange to hear in a Persian restaurant. over all is good place to dine.

The food was amazing with generous portions, place was clean and servers polite. Would have received 5 stars if they hadnt kept us waiting 30 minutes for our check after we were done eating. Will return, hopefully they take our money sooner next time.
Had the kabab kubideh (beef) a few times here and it was delicious every time. The seasoning is amazing and the meat is super tender. Really good Persian food. Highly recommend.
The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, made to order and unlike any flavors you have tasted before. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable and the owner is a such a delight. I had the ground beef and chicken kabob combination and it was the juiciest chicken I had ever had. The ground beef was also amazing. I also tried the Kashk Bademjan which was probably my favorite part of the meal! I cannot wait to go back and try more!
Really chill environment, beautiful decorations on the wall, soothing music and the food was amazing and fresh. They keep the place very clean and the service was good. Definitely try this place out, they offer some traditional Iranian food as well as some Mediterranean.

It’s always a great sign when people of a given ethnicity crowd a restaurant serving that particular ethnic food. Such is the case at Rumi, a simply decorated room where couples and groups can talk without having to shout. Persian cuisine straddles the Middle East and India. Their grilled meats and kebabs are tender & flavorful, the lamb chops; the best I’ve had in MIA. Lesser known to Americans are the various stewed lamb and veggies over crispy biryani. To cap it off, the owners are on hand and are engaging.
Great dining experience. Cozy, nice decor, pleasant wait staff, and Persian ambient music. And the food? Fantastic. Everything was tasty. And the portions were on the large side. Recommend the Persian tea, yellow split pea stew, Persian ice cream with a side of the berries.

Wow.....what can I say.... celebrated my moms bday there.... almost ordered entire menu.... I am very accustomed to middle eastern/Persian food but this place makes it feel like all others are not the same. Great Ambiance and once again great food.
I feel like we found a hidden gem initially but this wore off after a couple times especially since pricey. (Spent $125 lunch for three adults-2 kids) no alcohol or dessert. We were pleasantly surprised to find amazing array of Persian food along with great desserts. The teas were great as was the service most times but this is not consistent. Lately the service has been slower with one waiter-waitress and owners arent as engaged as they used to be with their clients. The waiter was sluggish and we asked if he was ok since hes usually very bubbly only to hear what do you want from me, Im a college kid! Oh we apologize for thinking you were awake at 12:30pm........... Ill spend my cash at other places and remember that next time.

Excellent meal & service. We had lunch - the spinach pie appetizer, combo chicken and beef kebobs on basmati rice. Chicken and beef were very tasty and very tender - used fork to cut it. Generous servings - brought half of it home for dinner! Complimentary pita and yogurt dill sauce was very good also. Very friendly. Cant wait to go back!!

The portion of the food was too small regarding the price. We had special juje, and kubide. The portion was not persian at all. We also ordered ghorme sabzi gheyme and kashk e bademjun. Unfortunately I didnt like how ever in our group couple of people liked the. Thats why I gave two stars
Food was amazing! Service in general needs a LOT of improvement. The counter is in the back of the restaurant, you walk in and no one greats you and they definitely do not have any idea of how long before you are seated, I waited an hour, then waited another 1/2hr for my food, hopefully they improve their service!!!

A MUST try restaurant! I had dinner with my family here last night and we were all very impressed. Everything was amazing down to the smallest details: the ambiance and decor is impeccable, service is fast & friendly, the food just blew us away, especially the Kabob Kubideh which is my absolute favorite! The Green Basmati rice is a must try. I will be coming back this weekend to try the lamb chops!

I have never eaten at this place but my boyfriend does Uber eats he got a pick up from this restaurant. He is a big guy and the restaurant was full he was waiting for the food when one of the waiters very rudely told him he had to wait outside. Even tho the weather is very hot and humid, it’s 90 degrees outside. He waited for almost 10 minutes. I bet if he wasn’t big this person would of never made him wait outside. He is very rude I would never eat at this place just because of how rude this guy is. He should learn to talk to people even if they are not costumers at the moment. Very sad situation to make someone else feel bad about themselves because maybe you have no education.

We waited 45 min for the food to come out, and the lamb stew had one tiny piece of lamb. Our appetizer was finally brought after the meal. After waiting 15 min to pay the check, I eventually just walked up to the counter to pay. By far the worst service that I have had at a restaurant. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
